Played all in order, one 3 was out. Loved them, done annoying sections (the lift loading screen, lol) but, yes, great. Not going to revisit this though, to much else going on
@Dezzy70 afraid not - Harry Grout has retired, (the old dog), Lukewarm is a no show. Private Joe Walker would sort me out, but he left for the smoke to do a deal and ain't been seen since...
Having the stock as all access only is a little unfair on UK residents living in Northern Ireland as due to some arrangement, (financial regulations?) that package is not available here...
I liked the premise, the controls, graphics, the single player aspect, but quickly went down hill into transactions (buying and selling, never did micro-transactions!) then grind, then sponge monsters and 45 minutes on those boss battles
Balance was totally wrong to begin with, a patch or 2 made things better (equipment screens)
Glad to see the back of it
It was a digital gift, if I'd have had the disc, it would have been traded a few months in to catch a good-ish price on the hype
Wondering what will happen if I boot it in a year?!
At 200 per spin, there are lots of 200 and 500 point rewards, to win along the way, but 15 minutes later, and starting off with 6700, it's all gone lol. No matter, was a bit of fun.
It's fine, never used them before, don't miss them !
RE4 was definitely my favourite in the series , well re7 on the psvr are was pretty amazing experience too! So to hear that village is a similar vibe is fantastic news !
I must admit that this is one area of gaming that I think Microsoft has let gamers down on very badly over the past lot of years. After doing such an AMAZING job with brain the brand back to what it is today, (with the help of game pass ultimate) it's a crying shame that we still get headlines like this. I wouldn't say anything bad against Phil, IPWT, but he needs to have a word with hardware...
Seems quite harsh to me... Peter made mistakes, yes, but he got death threats over some! Surely OTT. Sean? Well, NMS had trouble when people started making up features and things that is had never ever claimed to have, so others hyped it! Cyberpunk might run badly on last gen, but I've absolutely loved it, few bugs, no more than you'd expect
Must say I love my shock blue, using it in of a lot and they are more comfortable, and more practical with the non-slip areas. Don't need a red one, & I'd have bought blue anyway
Perhaps justifiable, not here to argue, I'm enjoying the game. But who actually benefits from the fine money? So millions (xxx00k or whatever) of copies sold, this office take 10%, and.. what? Do they refund me a fiver? 50p? Nothing? Then who gets it? the polish gov? Great! Does that mean the polish people get 50 cents off their tax this year? Towards a covid fund? Or towards the investors who kinda have their own thing going on, and likely have enough money to fight for themselves without spending taxpayers money? Can someone enlighten me please?
NYR for last year, no, 2018 was to play through only 1 game (maybe 2, for online) at a time. Stuck with that somehow, and have ploughed through lots of games on all consoles/pc happily. Before that, I was grabbed by the next big thing and didn't finish what I bought! So still to start Zelda BoTW lol
Merry Christmas All. Hadn't realised that this site had been defunct for 4 years, but was pleased to discover it for the first time 6 months ago. Well done and thank you. Good tidings to all the above, particularly @blueocean @dezzy70 @fraserg
"by offering ample additional content " Like Spiderman on the Xbox? No? Ah don't bother then...
Do you think they did bothered doing a demo and showcased it to people? Perhaps did they, and the youtuber previewers applauded it, (mainly cos it got them the viewing figures to give them cash from advertising)? Whatever way, the development seems messed up!
@endlessleep a few reasons - 1) the title only mentioned the S , 2) could have said "the new xbox", 3) nobody in article seems to have tested the X, 4) nobody has hazarded a guess that slowdowns are only on the S but likely gone in the X
@adamfother1 as far as I know the velocity architecture can only be used when developing games using the very latest development kit. So basically you have to start building on the latest development kit, it's something that cannot be emulated with backwards compatibility. Also, it's not just a case of importing a game into the new kit and rebuilding it not simply anyway, it really is from the start - a new approach. That's from what I've read! Anyway it does mean that the games that will be coming out in a year or so that do take advantage of the velocity architecture will rocket along, I will imagine something like that PS5 Spider-Man demo where it's putting assets from the SSD at an incredible rate. to use an analogy I think Xbox will be using its brains with the SSD, whereby PlayStation will be using its brawn
Let's face it, it's a great product with a great pitch (4 gen BC), as well as being the most powerful CPU GPU combo (still with a fast enough SSD) With game pass (and Ultimate including EA Play), consumers know that buying the X or the S is incredible value, with knowledge that your investment is going to repay you many times over. I don't like Sony, but nevertheless have had every gen of theirs. I will buy the ps5 for solo play JUST because of eg TLOU and Unchartered style games. But nothing that Sony have said, done or produced has got close to this quality and commitment from MS.
The world is a pretty weird place at the minute, so to see a bit of congratulation within the industry is a funny way of uniting us gamers. Each to his own, I'll get a ps5 but that doesn't mean I like Sony lol
My slight obsession with playing games in order, (as well as actually playing what I've bought at full price that are now £15) has me leaning towards Borderlands 2 handsome. The improvement in graphics of BL2, after BL1 hours and hours, blew me away, so this gen, with RT, etc, well, I'm gonna be picking my jaw of the ground every few minutes.
I think we all knew that getting Disney+ free was going to be a little too good to be true. As for paying for a subscription? no thanks! Guessing you could wait a few weeks, get the free trial, binge watch the mandalorian season 1 and 2, then cancel!
Game UK local store is having a midnight launch so I'll be there at 11: 45pm, just under 7 hours time Can hardly believe it's finally here. I feel like a kid again, who, after having a tree up for 7 weeks, is finally twigging on that it's actually Christmas Eve, lol
Weren't they thinking of a new game pass subscription, i read here a few weeks ago? i'm sure about this Something about Ultimate Plus (for want of a better phrase) more money of course - if so, then maybe D+ is the extra you pay for, but only a bit extra. reckon that it'd be a win for disney as with the TV App, people got a month free, subbed a few months, watched all they wanted and left, but this way, they'd get less money per month but def get that over a complete year
Having sold both ps4pro and xb1x, this is hopefully my last weekend lonely before I get the xsx on Tuesday midnight! Only just started Death Stranding on pc (seriously impressed) so the next week will be a confusion of what to play next. Torn between two lovers, feeling like a fool...
Played all 4, all good in their own way but the WE are the aliens thing was pretty neat. Not a new idea (few are!) but a good take on it that felt realistic. Not that I'd know from experience lol
I played through all three of these nearly 2 years ago just before I started on Andromeda (which I also finished) Glad it's coming to a new audience as a remaster but I'm afraid I won't be playing it again
There's a lot of agreement on this website, and I don't really like it 🤬 Can anyone direct me to another website, (maybe European?) where you're nearly sent death threats for stating an opinion? Joking of course 😜
Shame was the exact words I thought I'd when reading the headline - and lots of people have said it already! However, there is enough to be getting on with for launch day, even if no big titles, but then isn't that why we are invested in the system - the whole cross-gen and BC? With only a few days to go, boy, am I excited?!
A great studio producing great content. Totally agree @dezzy70, I thought they already were on the books! I'll add that this is an astounding achievement for the XSS - a fantastic entry to the next gen, and one to be proud of
@fraserg have to add my voice and day great review, not too long or short, etc. Looking forward to midnight launch here in UK. This year has been pants, but in another positive way - What A Time To Be Alive!
