I haven't used a ps5 controller, and it sounds really cool and everything, but it will probably just be another gimmick that's abandoned after a year or two. Just like the ps4 touchpad that was only used for the first few first party games.
Maybe I'm totally wrong on this, especially since I haven't even tried it, but it doesn't really excite me in any way.

Not in 2020, but I plan on buying a Series X or S in the Spring of 21. I'm hoping by then the stock shortage won't be an issue, and I could find one relatively easy.

Awesome list. New Super Lucky's Tale is a game I'm currently going through, and loving every minute of it. I also can't wait for Flight Simulator to hit consoles!

@UltimateOtaku91 Exactly. Xbox obviously has hundreds of great games on the system, but a very severe lack of first party exclusives. Hopefully that will change this generation.

I've been waiting on the rest of the Final Fantasy series that was announced a year ago.

I've been waiting for Microsoft to make another Banjo platformer for years now. I have confidence we'll see it eventually, and also confident they'll find the right studio. Double Fine would have been a great choice.

Arkham Origins is definitely my go to Christmas game. Fable games have always given off a Christmas vibe for me, not sure why lol. Fable 2 especially.

What an incredible trailer lol that got me hyped to keep on playing. I'm having such a great time playing the MCC. The campaigns are still so good, and the multiplayer is as fun as ever.

Gears 5 Hivebusters is coming out way sooner than I expected. Really excited for that one.

Very exciting! This was definitely the game I was most curious about over at Xbox, and this reveal did not disappoint. Looks like an epic single player game that Xbox could really use.

It's my favorite controller I've ever used. The grip and texture are a great revision, and I love the rounded bumpers and new d pad. I believe it's a tad smaller in size, which is nice because if fits in my hand much better. I'm very happy with it.

@redd214 I've bought the exact same things! I am loving the controller too. The updates are minor, but they make all the difference. I never want to go back to my old Xbox controller I like it that much.

I wish that charge and play kit was on sale in the US! Just picked up another 3 months of GamePass though, and an Xbox hoodie on sale haha.

I'll be playing Gears 5 multiplayer, with some Halo MCC and 2k21. I've been having a great time going through all the old Halo campaigns again. I didn't go in order, but just finished 3 and now playing 2 anniversary.
I'll also be making some time for Destiny 2. I just started over again, as it's been a while, and it's really a great game. Glad to be back. Have a great weekend everyone.

Hah! To be fair, between Xbox and Sega, their twitter posts the last few months haven't exactly been subtle. There is definitely something going on. Most likely just a whole bunch of Sonic and Sega games coming to GamePass.

I'm so glad I waited till today ! I was literally going to buy the shock blue controller last night. Awesome deal.

This sucks for people who want this right now, but I am perfectly okay with waiting till next year. I'm hoping by next Summer/Fall I can just walk into a store and get one no problem.

I'll be playing a lot of Beyond Light, and Gears games. I just started Gears Tactics and I really like it. I've never played many tactics games before, but they managed to make it still feel like gears of war even in the new format. Have a great weekend everyone!

It's okay that we won't be having any big first party games at launch, we rarely ever do, because there will be a lot of first party support coming down the pipe line soon. I think both the PS5 and Series S/X need a year or two to build a library worth buying the system for.

I actually really liked the game. I gave it 4 stars. It's not as good as the glory days with Bungie, but it's still a really well made, and really fun game. I like the direction 343 has been taking the story, although the Halo 5 campaign feels more like just a series of strike missions as opposed to flowing organically.
A stellar multiplayer as usual, one I still play today. Here's hoping Infinite can get the campaign back to form.

This is what I have been wanting from Xbox for a long, long time. Over the years Xbox has become my multiplayer console, while I play all the great single player narrative driven games on my PlayStation. It's about time Xbox puts out some of those types of games.

It really would be a waste if they owned all of those great Rare IPs and never did anything with them. Rare themselves don't have to make the games, but they really do have to try something with Banjo, Conker, Perfect Dark, etc, eventually.

@sandman89 The Last of Us Part 2, for example, did a lot of amazing work on that game so blind or deaf people could enjoy it. It's really incredible.

I'll keep as a second console for the time being. Maybe if I ever decide to watch a Blu Ray again, or until the expanded storage on the next gen consoles is cheaper. Until then, it's a nice entertainment system to have on hand. I find streaming stuff on the One S way easier and more intuitive than any other console.

I'm really excited to see these studios branching out. They are really talented, and make some of the best games on Xbox.

YESS. I have been patiently waiting for this to hit GamePass. I almost bought this when it was on sale last month. So glad I didn't! Can't wait to try this one out.

After passing on Assassin's Creed Origins the 17,000 other times it was on sale, maybe I'll finally go for it.

I'll be continuing Night in the Woods. I am loving this game. It has so much personality, and I find myself humming the music throughout my day.

I totally understand the frustration, but I'm sure this will be sorted out eventually. It may not result in a console day one though, unfortunately. I didn't use the All Access method, as I kind of expected it to be a bit of a mess before launch. I'll check back into it later on down road for a Series X.

So glad I didn't buy Motorsport 7 last week! This is a really solid month. Brutal Legend is about to get the love it deserves.

Awesome! I'll definitely give this a go. I don't really watch much anime, but there's a bunch on this service that I was really into when I was younger, and would be a lot of fun to revisit.

I started playing Night in the Woods on GamePass, and it's absolutely brilliant so far. I'm loving the world and the quirky characters. It's a very funny game too. Besides that, I started playing PES 2020. I haven't played a PES game in years, and I'm terrible at it! It's great fun though, so I'll be playing more of that and comparing with FIFA 20, which I also recently picked up on sale. Have a great weekend everyone!

Man, I love this game. Halo 3 had the best ad campaign ever for a game. I still play the game to this day on the MCC, and it's as fun as ever. I remember getting it at a midnight release with a bunch of my friends, and we were all "sick" the next day at school. Some great memories from the 360 days.

I literally just downloaded this yesterday. Can't wait to play it!

Since I will be getting the series S at launch, I'll definitely need one of these... eventually. Once more next gen games start releasing next year and beyond, this will hopefully be cheaper.

I haven't taken the time to try this game out yet, but I'm really looking forward to it. Props to the studio for not giving up on the game.

Moon Studios seems like the obvious choice here. I'm really glad Satya Nadella and Microsoft are fully behind the Xbox team. This upcoming generation is going to be something really special.

@KelticDevil I agree with you there. I never really liked any of the PlayStation designs besides the PS4 Slim, maybe. Then again, I never really liked any console design that much until pretty recently. The Series S and X, and Nintendo Switch/Switch Lite, are my favorites.

As a designer myself, I am so envious of what the Microsoft team pulled off with these consoles. They are easily my favorite consoles ever made from a design stand point. The philosophies that went into designing these consoles are the complete opposite of the PlayStation 5...I can't stand to look at that thing.

I'd just be happy with some kind of partnership with Sega that brings a lot of their library to GamePass. Persona on GamePass would be perfect.
