Was able to get a Series S pre order from Microsoft. Can't wait! I honestly want to get the Series X eventually too. They both are my favorite console designs ever, I can't help myself! I also was able to pre order the new blue controller.

Great additions. I can't wait for later in the week to finally play Night in the Woods.

@KelticDevil I just started playing Destiny this year, and I can totally relate to that..I've been taking a break from it until the next expansion drops.

@TheGamerKing you can, you'll just have to set up cross save on the Bungie website. It's super easy.

Been a subscriber to GamePass for quite some time now, and have been thoroughly impressed with it. It's the best thing to ever happen to gaming for me. Today's news just makes something great even greater.

This is a huge acquisition. Just increasing the value and diversity of games in GamePass and their future first party lineup. Really amazing news

@BigP Yeah definitely start with 1, or the Ultimate Edition, which is a remaster of the first. I'd just go in order of release for the first time through. As for the best multiplayer, I'd say it's Gears 5. Ultimate Edition is still active and a ton of fun, but once you play 5 it's hard to go back.

Gears of War is my favorite game series of all time, and I instinctively was going to vote for the first or second game..but if I'm being completely honest it has to be Gears 5. The campaign in that game is phenomenal. A real step up from the writing of the past games. It adds some nuance and maturity that wasn't there before. The new characters are all very good, and having the OG characters still play a huge role is satisfying as hell, and a lot of fun. The multiplayer also feels the best than the others, a few issues aside.

What low cost consoles are he referring to that haven't had "great results in the past"? Am I forgetting something? Every time this guy speaks I lose a little bit more respect for Sony.

@KelticDevil I agree. It's been so fun being able to go back and play a bunch of great 360 games I missed the first time around, and not having to buy some old second hand 360 to do it. I've discovered a lot of great games I never would have gone back to. Series S is the first new console I'll be getting that I don't have to basically start from scratch.

I will most likely be playing more of the Avengers campaign. I am really enjoying it so far. Maybe some more Spiritfarer as well? Have a great weekend everyone!

My printer is too small to get this at full scale, but a really cool idea! A fun little promotion, and gives people an idea of the size. Xbox has a really great marketing team right now.

I was really excited for this game, until I saw the new direction they went in. Not really interested in yet another open world thing. I was really hoping for a sequel to the original..but I'm still willing to give this game a chance.

Maybe I just missed this, but does anyone know if the Xbox All Access promotion is for a limited time? I'd like to do that eventually, but don't want a new console right now.

I care way more about this than graphics anyway. Playing a game like Destiny 2 for example, sometimes I'll spend more time in loading screens than actually playing the game. I can't wait for stuff like to be a thing of the past.

Funny also how Sony was very arrogant in response to Microsoft's choice to go cross gen for the first year or two, and now revealed most of their lineup for the first year is on ps4.

Just another reason why I'm buying everything Microsoft is selling for next gen. I have no doubt that Microsoft will sell Xbox games for
70-80 dollars as well, but with GamePass I don't have to pay full price for a big chunk of them.

Not a bad price for the all digital edition. I definitely did not expect them to go much lower. Nothing so far has impressed me with Sony and the PS5, but that can change years from now when their heavy hitters start coming out. I look forward to 2022 or so, when the next generation really starts.

Didn't like the look of this one. Final fantasy 7 remake was the best one in a long, long time. I'd so much rather have that and the sequels on the Xbox. This is a timed exclusive anyway. This one just looks like a really generic western RPG.

I was interested until I saw those prices...I think I will go with Skate 3 though. It's been too long since I've played that series.

A really great game. One I still love to play on the MCC. Bungie really went out on top with this one.

Destiny 2 and Night in the Woods. I have had Night in the Woods on my wishlist for ages, never seems to go on sale. A good month!

None of this matters to me. All I know is, I'll be able to play next gen games for only 300 dollars. Sign me up.

I think it's look pretty cool. I've never played this game before, so I'm looking forward to this. I guess it can look dated in some instances from the trailer, but nothing to turn me off.

I thought this looked really cool when it was first revealed, but I really hate all the changes they've made to this.

This is a fantastic addition to GamePass. I have always been someone who owned both a PlayStation and and Xbox, but as I get older and have less time and money to spend on games, little things like this are why I'm only going with Xbox next gen. I can save so much money on the price of the console with Series S, the value of GamePass just keeps growing, I can continue to use all my Xbox one controller, etc. Unless the ps5 all digital is magically 300-350, Xbox is where I'll be all next gen.

The main reason I love and still play my Xbox is the Gears of War series. Once Gears 6 drops, and few other exclusives like Fable and Avowed, I will be getting the Series S. I love the design of the Series X, and would love to have the full next gen experience, but I think I'll stick with the much cheaper option.

I will definitely be getting this in a couple of years when Fable and Gears 6 drops. No disc drive doesn't bother me, as I'll just use my One S for that. This is perfect for someone like me who uses their xbox for GamePass and streaming services. Being able to play the next gen exclusives for this price is a steal.

A Hive busters DLC would make sense, as they like to push those characters a lot. I would be way more excited for something with the main cast of characters. Maybe a little prequel campaign playing as Mera, or a Del centric one would be really cool. Either way, I hope this is true. Anything Gears gets me very excited.

The 08 game definitely. I loved the stylized graphics and design of the characters. Haven't played much else, so i'm a little biased here..

I will be playing Gears 5 multiplayer. One Shot One Kill is the event mode for the week, and it's my absolute favorite. Besides that, I'll play some more Spiritfarer. Have a great and safe weekend everyone

These are weird looking..but I'm a sucker for anything Rare. I made my gamerpic Banjo already. Would be such a great surprise to see them revive Banjo Kazooie in some way. A remaster of the original games would be better than nothing!

Glad to hear the campaign is so good. It's the one area of this game I was confident in, and wanted to play the most. It's a bummer they forced the Destiny loot system in there. I love Destiny, but from playing the beta it just feels unnecessary. I'll still happily grab this soon to play with friends after the campaign. Great review!

Halo 5 and Forza Horizon 4.

I played the beta, thought it was pretty fun. Although, the more I hear about this game the less I want to play it.

Never played a game in the series before, but Wasteland 3 looks really good. Can't wait to try that out.

Picked up Dragon Ball FighterZ finally. Loving it so far.
