Yes, the classic EA Sports title NHL 94 is officially coming back as a pre-order bonus for NHL 21 on Xbox One, featuring the Washington Capitals' Alexander Ovechkin in all his pixelated glory!

NHL 94 Rewind is available to claim through October 16th as an NHL 21 pre-order bonus from the Microsoft Store, although you won't be able to drop the puck in '94 until a couple of weeks later on October 30th.

I remember this game - so amazing for it's time.
I have got it on my Genesis which I play on my Mega SG from Analogue. Still the best hockey game around.
Is this the one you can start fights in or was that an earlier one?
My brother and I spent an absurd amount of time playing this as kids even though we had very little interest in hockey. If they release it separately they have a day one sale here!!
This is the greatest hockey game of all time! I had it on Genesis. I spent soooooo much time playing this.

This was a crazy fun game on the Genesis. If it's on EA Play next year I'll give it a go. Haven't been into sports games for a while but i guess I'll get to try a bunch of them on Nov 10th again.
@nessisonett Earlier and later. 94 and 95 had the fighting removed at the NHL's request. Fights came back in 96.
