Welcome to the weekend! The Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S have officially arrived, so there's plenty to be playing over the next few days including over 30 next-gen launch games, a massive batch of new Xbox Game Pass titles, and of course - a library of over 3000 backwards compatible games across three generations of Xbox!
Here's what we're playing over the next couple of days:

What aren't I playing this weekend? There's not enough time in the day to get to everything I want to try, but I'm very eager to play some Gears 5, Forza Horizon 4, Planet Coaster: Console Edition, Dirt 5, Gears Tactics and as many other optimised launch titles as I can for my Xbox Series X.
And those are just the next-gen games! I'll also be dipping into backwards compatibility with the likes of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 and Battletoads, and I'm also really excited by how smooth Just Cause 3 (finally) runs on the system - it's like playing a brand-new game! I'll definitely be spending some time with that one...

I'm currently in the process of moving, so if I do get around to playing anything over the next few days it likely won't be on an Xbox because I've had to pack everything up. Fortunately, I've still got access to a laptop and Xbox's PC library, so...I guess it's game on!
I'll probably be enjoying more of the same - Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Forza Horizon 4 and Sea of Thieves. Heck, maybe even Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition! I look forward to next month when Cyberpunk 2077 arrives and I can finally sit down with my Xbox Series X and have a proper gaming session. I should probably add Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered to that to-do list as well.

Will be mostly continuing my playthrough of Trails of Cold Steel IV on PS4. Although I'm very tempted to buy a month of Game Pass Ultimate now that EA Play has been added. There are lots of games I want to play from there so I might just do that to add some variety.

Also glad to report that me Q90R has taken 4K 120fps with VRR from the series x perfectly, tried on Ori today and does great, had my doubts being last years model tv but all is good.
Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice... Wow, why didn't I check this game out before? Oh I know why. I never had an Xbox and Game Pass before. I literally just beat Valravn and looking forward to continuing this stunning journey.
Maybe some Destiny 2. I'm trying to see if I can get into it for the long haul or not. Still undecided but want to give it fair go.
Also been playing Bugsnax on PS5.
I'm playing Battlefield:Hardline! Plays great and looks great thanks to auto HDR. When I'm not playing that I'm dipping into Forza Horizon 4, which looks magnificent in 4K. Enjoy your first weekend with the new console everyone 🙂
Q) Which Xbox games will you be playing this weekend?
A) I'll be playing a bit of a random assortment of games this weekend across the Nintendo Wii, Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series X.
Specifically in regards to the Xbox Series X, I'll finally be giving Yakuza: Like A Dragon a break (I've been playing it every day since I got my new console and having tons of fun with it) and trying out Bright Memory 1.0 tomorrow. As a shorter game, I'll also be using it to test out how well my Happauge capture device works on the new system and see it's potential for future let's plays and the like.
I'm carrying on with Ryse. Not sure if I'll get into anything else this weekend.
Since finishing up The Avengers I started to go through games on my hard drive - I’ve been stuck in The Messenger since. Seriously great game on Gamepass. So I’m going to continue playing that gem while hopefully putting some time into Pikmin 3 on Switch.

I've finally been playing A Plague Tale the last few days and really enjoying it (if enjoying is the right word for a game like this..)
I've been dipping in and out of Tetris Effect too and wanna check out Planet Coaster as well.
Game Pass continues to deliver.
Staid up way too late last night playing Vallhala. Still have not seen the title screen... Will be playing this for a while.
Not much due to work but ive just started a playthrough of all the back compat Call of Duty games so will probably hit up COD2 at some point.
It's my birthday today, so I'm going to be playing Crash 4 on Xbox and Mario 3D All-Stars on Switch while eating pizza!
I'm working my way through Watch Dogs: Legion and Control.
Control is absolutely phenomenal.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64) - Made it to the Ice Cavern.
Halo: Spartan Assault (Windows Phone) - Decent twin stick shooter.
AlphaJax (Windows Phone) - Now it just keeps crashing on me...
My first weekend with my Series X, so I’m afraid my PS4 won’t get much of a look-in. I’ll be playing AC Valhalla, Destiny 2 Beyond Light, Gears Tactics, Dirt 5, and Watch Dogs Legion. I wanna give Planet Coaster a go but doubt I’ll have time.
I'll be playing a lot of Beyond Light, and Gears games. I just started Gears Tactics and I really like it. I've never played many tactics games before, but they managed to make it still feel like gears of war even in the new format. Have a great weekend everyone!

I'll be putting more time into Assassin's Creed Valhalla. I really enjoy the story and it looks good on the Xbox Series S.
I'm playing Assassin's Creed Valhalla on my Xbox, and Spider Man Miles Morales on my Playstation. Aside from that, I'll be outside skateboarding and getting in some good skate sessions. It should be a great weekend.
Forza Horizon 2 and 3. I never had an Xbox One and was always jealous of this series. First game I put in my Series X was FH2, and after playing it like crazy for a few days, I’ve moved to FH3. Definitely worth the wait. I love these games.
Blasted through latest CoD, and Valhalla tomorrow.
I haven't been playing anything Xbox related because i'm still waiting for my Series X to show up.. I have been playing Animal Crossing New Horizons, I'm trying to get my island to a 5 star rating, right now i'm stuck on four.. Animal Crossing is so much fun and relaxing to play..

How's WRC9? Is the difference noticeable? I played WRC8 on PS4 PRO and 30 fps made it a pain (stutters).

I have gone to town. My One S packed in around 9 months ago. Just got my Series X and 6 months of Ultimate. Catching up on what I have missed.
