I love the minimalist design on this. The PS5 is a tad overdesigned, in my opinion. The Series X is clean and to the point.

I don't really play much of EA's catalogue, but I can't deny it's a great deal. I think this rebrand is a good move. EA Play is a much better title than Access, and has better synergy with their overall brand. I have some friends that are really into their sports franchises, so maybe now is a good time to give it a try.

@pip_muzz Hah me too! Every time I tell myself I'm going to wait a while to get one, an article like this comes out and gets me all excited.

Next generation I've decided to only get one console, and the value of GamePass has me strongly leading towards an Xbox Series X. PlayStation may have better first party games in their portfolio, but not having to buy a 60 dollar game every few months is huge. I hope GamePass continues to grow, because I'm pretty close to going all in!

Having played pretty much every major title I wanted to this generation, I'm actually really looking forward to picking up some Indie games this time around. There are already some great ones on GamePass, but any that aren't I'm willing to pick up for the right price. I'd love any suggestions on some Indies to look out for!

@KelticDevil I agree. If it ain't broke don't fix it. Definitely the best controller I've ever used. It just feels right in my hands.

Ugh, I'm so over these timed exclusives nonsense. I'd love to play this game on Xbox.

I own both a PS4 and Xbox One, and for next gen I really just want to get one. As much as I love the Sony exclusives, Xbox just keeps adding more and more reasons to go with them...it'll be interesting to see the next year or two how it all plays out before I make any decision.

ReCore isn't great, but it was a fun game I enjoyed my time with. I think the characters and the world are interesting enough that I would like to see more. Especially with GamePass being what it is, it's probably way more likely we would see a sequel one day.

@KelticDevil yeah for real. I appreciate the effort trying to fix the game, but I just don't see how they can save it. It's better to just cut their losses and move on to something else. I also paid money for this game, and deeply regret it.

This is really cool news. Halo Infinite looks like a game rooted in the past, while also forging ahead. This is shaping up to be the best Halo since the Bungie days.

Is the game cutting edge graphically? No, but it still looks really good. The gameplay and the environment look awesome, and it looks like overall the best Halo game in years.

I usually don't like Ubisoft games, but this looks surprisingly good. I've never played a battle Royale game besides a few matches of Warzone, but I really want to give them a shot. This looks like a fun place to start.

@RaZieLDaNtE it's crazy to look back at the beginning of the 360 when it had such killer exclusives. Gears of War, Bioshock, Mass Effect.. and then of course Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon. It really was a great console.

I love the look of this game, but still no info on what you actually do in this game. I am absolutely looking forward to this though, and eagerly wait for more. I believe they said a while back this is going to be an online only game like Sea of Thieves? A little disappointing, but won't stop me from playing it.

As someone who plays a lot of Destiny, this is huge. I already own Forsaken and Shadowkeep, but not having to buy New Light is awesome.

Was hoping for some more from the reveal, since we all pretty much knew it was coming. Can't complain though, I am really excited that it exists.

I am one of the people who actually really enjoyed Halo 5, although it was an overall disappointing game. I was really excited by what they showed today in the demo. It looks like they are getting back to the spirit of the originals, while still adding some new flavor to it. I liked the look of it as well. The 343 Halo games are sometimes a little over designed, like Chief's armor, and this one looks much more cleaner and stripped down to the basics. Really looking forward to this.

I am lucky enough to have both a PS4 and Xbox One S, but this next generation looks to be pretty expensive, so I am looking to get just one. I am still undecided, and this, or the PS5 show, didn't sway me either way. I will be waiting at least a year to see how it all shakes out before I make my decision. I am more convinced of the value of GamePass more than ever though. I'll wait to see more from Fable, Gears of War 6, and whatever else they have up their sleeve.

I give it a C, but that is being generous. A pretty big waste of time if i'm honest. Halo looked really good, nice to have Fable again, but nothing of interest beyond that. I play Destiny, so New Light coming to GamePass is cool though.

Definitely looks like the best Halo since the Bungie days. A real spiritual throwback to Halo Combat Evolved. Really loved it.

Will be continuing to play some Gears 5. Really loving the new operation, it sometimes feels like a whole new game. Besides that, maybe I will finally start Red Dead 2. It's been downloaded from Game Pass for weeks, just taunting me. Also, some Destiny 2 thrown in for good measure. Have a great weekend everyone.

Just downloaded this a few days ago, and look forward to trying it out. It's a nice story that this game was able to redeem itself after the disaster of it's initial release.

@Steel76 I know that, and for the most part you're right. We're seeing with Sony how they're remastering Spider-Man with some new content included, so in that case you will have to rebuy a game. My point was with Xbox I know I won't have to deal with any remasters of games I've already purchased. Sony hasn't committed to a complete backwards compatibility, but I'm sure most of the heavy hitters will be.

Disappointing, but they have to do what they have to do. I am loving this current season, so more of it is welcome. I look forward to whenever the expansion releases.

I really love to hear this. I won't have the money to upgrade any time soon, and it's great to know I will still be able to play all the games coming. I much prefer this approach over Sony, where it's a clean slate for the next gen. I don't want to have to buy all the games I already own ,and want to continue playing, all over again. I'll upgrade when the time is right, but I'll continue to support a consumer friendly game plan.

@KelticDevil I love it too. It's such a consumer friendly approach, and the kind that makes me want to continue to support Xbox.

@Tharsman definitely order of release. Judgement is a fun game, but it's a bit of a departure from the mainline series gameplay. Also, you'll get much more out of the story and characters playing it in order of release.

Huge gears of war fan, and all of these changes and additions are fantastic. Can't wait to dive into this.

@Tharsman it's all multiplayer, horde, and escape. Operations are just the Gears version of seasons.

That's the correct mindset to have in any creative endeavor. I am a graphic designer, and sometimes you try something with the best intentions, and you think you're making the right choices based on the info you have, yet you still can fall flat on your face. You will still learn something from it every time. Mixer was never my thing, but I like that Microsoft is willing to fail and try new things.

So, so ready for more information on this game. Definitely the game I was most looking forward to this year. Can't wait for this, and for Gears Tactics to hit Xbox One.

If anyone is going to buy them, Microsoft is the clear best choice. All the other options, especially EA, hopefully will not get their hands anywhere near it.

I'm a huge DC fan, so definitely Injustice 2. I was never into MK, but I did play a lot of Soul Calibur on the GameCube as a kid. Injustice 2 for me is the best fighting game out now, besides Super smash Bros, but I won't talk about that here..

That's kind of a bummer. I was hoping for that GameCube like design. Also, since it may not have a disc drive then this might not be the version for me after all. I'm dying for Xbox to just reveal everything!

Will definitely try Soul Calibur and Fallout, but when are the rest of the final fantasy games coming?!?

I voted for Star Wars. Cyberpunk doesn't interest me, and Crash looks like it could be hit or miss for me. I remember those games being pretty frustrating at times..but they all look really good!

Has anyone played Sonic Adventure 1 or 2 recently? I'd like to get them again, but I haven't played since the GameCube version as a kid. I'm curious if they have aged well or not before I buy.

I think this game is shaping up to be something pretty special. Just what Halo needs to get back on track.

First off, I'm very excited to see Halo Infinite in action. Microsoft has acquiring a lot of new studios, and have been talking about making new games for a long time. It's about damn time we see what they have all been up to. A new Fable would be fantastic. That series desperately needs to be revived as it's one of the few great exclusive IP they have. I'm just really looking forward to seeing what all the studios are working on.

This was the stand out from that Xbox presentation a while back. Glad it's coming to Xbox One too. Looks like a really fun game !

Awesome I'll definitely give this a try. Although I already own Battlefront 2, Titanfall 2, and Anthem, which are probably the only games on the service I'd actually play. I'll check it out anyway, those little games Sea of Solitude and Fe look interesting.

I'll be finally putting some into Quantum Break, a game that I have wanted to play for a very long time. I'm also hooked on Destiny 2 right now, so definitely more of that. Have a great weekend everyone!

I like both actually, but prefer the Xbox design. I really like the tower look and how clean it is. PS5 is definitely a unique design I wasn't expecting. It does look a little over designed though.

Yeah, I'm trading this game in today lol the size of this game is getting ridiculous. I don't even like the game enough to keep over 200 gb reserved for it.

These are great additions and maybe I'll finally try Kingdom Hearts as well. Also, when will more Final Fantasy games arrive on GamePass? I thought they were going to trickle them out throughout the year, but so far only 2 have made it.

I think this is a great move and something I was a little worried about going forward to the next generation of consoles. I didn't want to have to start from scratch all over again, especially after buying multiple expansions. Also, I think it could be a good idea for them to just drop the 2 and rebrand as simply Destiny.

I play Destiny often, it's one of my favorite games, and Bungie has always been one of my favorite studios. I look forward to anything they do. This certainly sounds like something new and fresh for the studio
