Microsoft and Apple might be in disagreement about bringing Xbox Cloud Streaming to iOS devices, but it nevertheless looks like Apple TV could be making its way to Xbox consoles soon.
According to Windows Central, multiple testers have contacted the outlet to verify that they've been given access to an Apple TV app, although it looks like this is just a very limited pool of people for now.
The service provides access to a variety of streaming shows along with thousands of movies to buy or rent, and a report from 9to5Mac has suggested it's likely heading to PlayStation soon as well.
It's particularly intriguing from an Xbox perspective though, given that Apple has been issuing strict rules for streaming services on its own App Store that has effectively prevented Xbox Game Pass from launching there so far.

Maybe this is Microsoft's strategy of getting in bed with Apple? Allow their apps on Microsoft's platforms, and then hope that they'll loosen up and do the same for Microsoft on their platforms.

In other news, Microsoft only allowed Apple TV on Xbox after Apple agreed to allow each show to be reviewed separately by Microsoft and accessible from the Microsoft store separately. Wait, how would THAT make sense??
@Chimera_Police It's about TV shows and movies. Apple doesn't require netflix / amazon prime video / etc. to review ech movie / show separately.
If Apple would release Apple Arcade for the XBOX, Microsoft would 100% want to check each game. Like they do with all XBOX releases.
