Apart from a bit of painting in the real world I am dabbling with Asura's Wrath. Absolutely mental game although not recommended if you don't like QTE.

Best game title ever. Just rolls off the tongue.

It's the perfect sale if you haven't been an Assassin's Creed fan since the first entry or you are cheap fan like me and wait for deep discounts. Waiting on at least a 50% discount on Valhalla before I bite.

I never knew about this. Makes me cautious now to fire mine back up to play a few classics if it still works.

Original Xbox. I really enjoyed Otogi back in the day.

Shadows of the Damned is great fun and well worth knocking out over the weekend before it disappears.

Online game perks aren't perks for me. The anime would be nice but it's not available in the UK. Oh well. Guess I will have to make do with the "perk" of around 200 games on Game Pass.

Does it fit all head sizes? Some people have big heads!

@VenomousAlbino I often play for 30 min stints and have to go do something. I may play 3-4 of these stints a day. Sometimes it can take about a minute to get into a game. It all adds up in a week.
Now I have used it I don't like going back and the frustrating thing is when it doesn't work at all on a game. I can handle the odd time it not working but not at all puts me off a game a bit now unless I can get a longer session in.

Any 360 games I play don't seem to use the feature. Other than that it is extremely useful and has saved me an hour or 2 already I think.

@101Force That's a lot of dreams you have there. Be nice if even one came true whether MS purchase them or not.

The only person who cares what game I am playing is me. I have taken a couple of screenshots of glitches in the past but that is just so I can look back and chuckle. More titles working with quick resume should be a bigger priority in my opinion. Less time waiting for games to load rather than more time watching others play.

If you just want to play F2P games then a Series S is a very good choice for those on a budget now. Hopefully not too little too late.

If you are increasing the price you do so incrementally over time so people don't kick up a fuss. A dollar a month wouldn't be that bad or 5 for the 6 months would have been reasonable and then next year another increase. It doesn't take an expert to understand that.

So 6 months is an ever so slightly worse deal than 2 x 3 months!

They won't offer smart delivery when they can sell the game for a third time? People will buy it to keep it in the charts even longer.

@Hypnotoad107 I agree. I avoid them at all costs as if I see an influencer promoting something it influences me not to buy it.

So in 10 years we'll all be plugging the Xbox Series XXX directly into our brain and Phil will be there showing it to us!

The main problem is that people believed the marketing. Never believe marketing. Trust your own eyes. I always used to buy Assassin's Creed games on release but didn't have an Xbox One when Unity came out luckily. Not pre-ordered an Xbox One game since I had it due to that game. Always best to wait. You play a better game and pay half the price.

If they are offering refunds are they then going to have to pay people for the time they wasted? Or is this just for the lawyers trying to make a quick bit of cash?

£5 for me! That will soon go on something in the sale.

@XBontendo I must have picked the wrong few games to try. May have to try a few more. Alan Wake is an amazing game. So long since I played it.

@NEStalgia The 360 titles I tried don't seem to work and Forza Horizon 4 has been intermittent since launch for me. When it does work it is an excellent feature. Hopefully the bugs will be ironed out and it works for all titles soon.

I priority quick resume game would be nice. It would never get cleared no matter how many other games you play.

I got a feeling of déjà vu reading those descriptions.

Come the new year I assume they will be readily available and hopefully the scalpers will be stuck with them.

@Bloodborne75 I enjoy it but perhaps not quite as much as you. 😂 I am just trying to 100% it before moving on. Just Test of the Wilds achievement to get. It is a fun game that doesn't outstay it's welcome. Satisfying chopping heads off orcs and uruks.

Just about finished Shadow of Mordor after hearing the servers were being switched off at the end of the year. Will probably head straight into Shadow of War after that. The quick resume on the Series X has saved me a lot of time opening games over the past few weeks. Plus I have to finish my Luigi run on Super Mario 3D Land to unlock the final level.

It's tempting but the £100 I make versus the time I will save on load screens in the short term means my Series X will be staying plugged in at home.

Problems with Xbox live here in the UK. Shiny new toy and can't play with it!

Assassin's Creed Chronicles Russia and Uncharted 3 to finish before my Series X arrives this week (fingers crossed).

That usable space on the Series S isn't going to stretch very far. COD + FIFA/Madden and you won't have much space for anything else. Maybe 2-3 more AAA titles.

You would think they would make this clearer as they want people to buy the next gen version as it costs a tad more rather than buy the cheaper version?

Original, 360 Elite, 360 E, One, One X and my first Xbox pre-order on the Series X. As far as I know they all still work. My 360 Elite did go in for repairs back in the day though and the disc tray became temperamental opening.

One X as spare and OG One to family member.

Work, wait for it to arrive, sign for it, go back to work, get an hour or two playing on it before bed.

@Fenbops I'm not justifying it but at least with a game, as long as it gets good reviews, you can be proud. No one is proud because little Jonny got his Switch in time for Xmas, other than the parents, or you have helped produce enough food products in a month to feed a starving country for a decade.

Doesn't this happen at a lot of factories as we approach the holidays due to increased demand?

I hope they are holding the big guns for November? Or maybe they are losing so much on sales of the new consoles that the budget for GWG is very small for the foreseeable future.

Only need to sell 55k in first 12 months to beat the Xbox One.

Pre-ordered with Amazon just after 8am as Very didn't add it until after 8.30am so pre-ordered there too. Looking to cancel one nearer the date. Hoping to keep the Very one so I can pay for it next year.

The good thing is that if you don't get a pre-order it isn't like you will miss out on any games so just wait for them to be back in stock rather than line other people's pockets.

That design even highlights where the new share button should be. Money would definitely be better spent on an elite controller though.

@InterceptorAlpha I would still argue that 8 am isn't early. Anyone with children should be up by then. Most people in school or college will be up by then (I remember I was most days albeit with a terrible hangover). A lot of factory workers will already be at work at that time (now they are up early).
Do people lay in until the last minute before getting up for work if they start work later in the day? If people start work later they usually have to do stuff in the morning as things are closed when they finish work. Or they may go for a run or the gym before work.

8am is waking up early? If I am at work for 9am I have left the house before 8am.
