6 years from announcement to release is a long time for a remaster. If it was a new game I guess we would be looking at double figures to make it.

Will Black Ops 6 be the first COD on Game Pass or will we see any of the earlier ones within the next five and a half months?

What an expert. There will be games at a games showcase but I won't tell you what they are.

Maybe Sony can snatch up the talent that made this game and make a spiritual successor Walkman Dash.

I am a few hours into Jedi Survivor so will continue with that. Not enjoying it as much as the first one so far but maybe it will pick up but story seems slower after the initial section.

@GeeEssEff I like the sound of that guy. People get upset about the most pointless things when their energy can be better pointed elsewhere.
I'm pretty sure Microsoft has very little with branded stuff outside of their main wheelhouse and just agrees to make it official when someone asks for their approval.

@Kooky_Geezer I have some Xbox and some PlayStation pajamas. I like to wear the bottoms of one with the top of the other just knowing it will annoy some people if they could see.

@Nic-Noc20th-C I'm just assuming that the backwards compatability program is being held back by the older hardware.
Maybe they can add others to a cloud only service if they don't work on X/S. Better that than nothing at all but I would prefer it to run without that.

Hopefully when the Xbox One is abandoned they can start adding new backwards compatible titles that work on X/S but wouldn't on the One.

The price seems quite high but when you see people spending this on a virtual t-shirt in a game I can see people buying this. I'd be thinking about it at a quarter of the price and a definite no at anything higher.

Hoping to cash in on Youtubers with more money than sense buying it so they can show off to their subscribers about how foolish they are.

The big question is how long will the game last if it gets a full release? I give it max 12 months.

@AlienigenX It's unfortunate as even if you got a disc from another region the ending is locked behind DLC. I guess you could change regions but that probably requires too much messing around.

288 daily points for Jewel and the 2 PC ones now reduced to 35 for play PC, console and jewel. 253 less points per day. Over 7500 less per month. Still more generous than the PS offering bit it's not so clear cut as to which console to play games on.

Oh well. I jinxed it when I mentioned the points for playing PC games on the app. Barely worth firing up a PC for 20 points now vs 275 up until yesterday.

Think I should get to 30 week streak before it ends. Think I am at 27 or 28 after this week.
Fingers crossed the new system isn't too bad. Wonder what will happen to the play PC game ones on the Xbox app. That is where I make over 50% of my points.

Well it is Warner Bros and we know what their decision making is like these days. Don't hold your breath.

Seems about on par with the 2008 game which I remember enjoying at the time. I will probably give this a whirl at some point.

@Phantasystar77 As long as I can get games for free via MS Rewards and getting cheap game pass subs I will stick with them until the end. That is my end or theirs. I can't justify £70 games which would never hit the PS Plus tiers if there is no Xbox.

Still waiting for the final season of Fortnite before I start so I get the full plot. Nothing worse than starting a game and it gets cancelled before it can have a proper finale. These extra Disney characters will probably over complicate the story considering we already have Peter Griffin killing Solid Snake.

Has there ever been as many people interested in a 'business update event' before?

I thought it was a GWG title previously. Turns out it was PS Plus title a while back. Shame they didn't have one last push for sales before delisting to earn themselves a few last minute pennies. Guess I will have to fire up my PS3 if I want to play this now.

Forgot how much fun the game is after initially playing it back in 2017. Attempting all the platinums on the story missions and hoping the achievement doesn't glitch on me if I manage it.

@BacklogBrad If you go in with no additional expectations how can you be outraged after the event? I expect a Gears Trilogy shadow drop or I will start a riot (on the internet in vitriolic text form of course).

I heard a rumour that something is going to happen but if it doesn't it's because it was cancelled and not that it was never going to happen in the first place. Cracking get out clause.

Should be in its final form for when it hits EA Play in a few months.

Mopping up a few achievements in The Crew before the servers close and playing Final Fantasy XIII on the Steamdeck. I always intend to play Final Fantasy games but end up dropping them after few hours and never coming back. This is the year where I get a few played to completion, hopefully.

@Sifi It's more that this series is a massive time sink and if you "own" them then you haven't got the risk of them disappearing like they could on Game Pass. That is my main gripe with Game Pass. Once you start a game you really need to play that almost exclusively to completion before it is removed.

It would cost you more than £25 to play through the first 7 on Game Pass though if you can only play for a handful of hours a day and way more if you want to dabble in the side content.

I want to buy a Ferrari but I have no plans to at the moment.

This is perhaps all they should have done with Sands of Time as well rather than botch a remake.

Would I like a world without adverts? Yes. Is that ever going to happen? Not unless I go and live off the grid.
Adverts are everywhere. On most people's clothing, in games via skins, on the sides of cars, all over social media. This was one of the least egregious forms of advertising in my opinion. If this is one of the worst for you then fair enough but some of the reactions were a little over the top.

@ZYDIO Games are ads in themselves these days with all the skins you can get. I don't have a problem with a screen that I can cancel off in a second and doesn't appear all the time. I would prefer it if it wasn't there but I'm not going to lose sleep over it. Forcing me to watch a video ad would be a big no though.
I used to hate watching TV as every 15 minutes you get the same adverts. I couldn't tell you the last advert I watched as I don't watch broadcast TV anymore to avoid them.

We are so used to not having to put up with adverts any more that when we do we over react it seems. These companies have to force these things down our throat in some way. A quick button press to get rid is fine. If we have to start sitting through a video ad then burn your console or sacrifice it to the God's or whatever. For now just press the cancel button and move on.

Activision have a load of studios with their eggs all in the COD basket. Hopefully Microsoft will sort that out.

I assume Ubisoft will give Microsoft mates rates for licensing Activision games to stream on Game Pass.

Burnout, Mario Kart, Wipeout, F-Zero are all above Forza for me. Forza is good but it doesn't have the fun factor of those franchises in my opinion. I remember vividly playing those over the years but nothing really sticks out about Forza.

So according to these reviews it's on par with Superman 64. Seems about right I am sure. I'll make my mind up when I get home and can try it out but I have a feeling it will be a bit better than a 0 or a 1.

I'll barely see it assuming the game supports quick resume and doesn't crash often.

@ZuneTattooGuy You don't have to unsell it to me. I was getting tired of the routine ny the end of the original game and Miles Morales was just long enough to not outstay its welcome although I had feelings of deja vu playing it. I'll wait for the new one to hit PS Plus anyway.

Remember Me was a solid game. I played it on PS3 though. Think it was a PS Plus title at some point.
