by I absolutely loved The Wolf Among Us back in the day - it released shortly after the success of The Walking Dead, and delivered yet another classic Telltale Games story that definitely still stands up here in 2026.
The game is getting a remastered version next week on October 29th, adding enhanced visuals and modern presentation along with an all-new Noir Mode, and the launch discounts have just been announced for it!
In a nutshell, anyone who buys The Wolf Among Us Remastered at launch will get a 20% discount off its usual $24.99 price, but if you happen to own the original version for Xbox One in digital form, you'll get a whopping 50% discount!
Here's the breakdown:
As you can see, the 50% discount doesn't apply to physical owners of The Wolf Among Us for Xbox One, although the game reportedly works with Xbox Disc to Digital, so you may be able to access your 50% discount that way instead.
The Wolf Among Us was also an Xbox 360 title when it first released, but it sounds like you need to specifically own the Xbox One version in order to get the discount. That's a bit of a shame, but it is what it is.
Regardless of how you access it, The Wolf Among Us is well worth playing if you like narrative-driven titles (particularly the ones made by Telltale Games!), and the Remastered version should serve as the definitive edition of it.
