I will probably buy the expansion in a future sale or as part of a Super Duper Ultra Max edition further down the line. Not in any rush to pay £6 a day to play a game early with DLC teased for the future.
@smoreon I'd forgotten about them. Turns out they are still chugging along and released an album earlier this year so they can't bring them back as it appears they never left. They are just dying a slow death as their fan base peels off.
As long as that music isn't in the game I'll be happy. I don't think any modern music would suit the game to be honest. It looks like it will be fun so just got to hope the price is right. If not it will be 50% off within a month.
Microsoft as a whole should just pull out of the UK and we'll see how that goes. Support what is already here as much as it has to but all new products cancelled.
@Nightcrawler71 I didn't say it would be easy but 10 hours a day if you aren't at school or working and give up any social life then you could just manage it.
How can you do a year in review until the year is over or almost over? With 2 weeks left of the year you could still knock out Persona 5 Royal if you don't have any other commitments.
@Sveakungen I made a bad joke about the fact that there is new simulator on Xbox every week it seems and this game made the joke very easy. I was not commenting on the quality of the game as I haven't played it so can't judge it.
Had to bite at that price for the 2TB. Hopefully this time I get 2TB. Last time I ordered from elsewhere I had to return as the box said 2TB but someone had resealed it and it had a 1TB inside which was a headache to deal with customer services to sort.
@Murray They've got to play nice until the Activision deal goes through. That's when the gloves will come off. I don't actually think they will put PS dollars at risk with those sort of tactics in the short term though but who knows long term.
@Royalblues It took me 5 nights at 2-3 hours a time. Xbox says 13.5 hours but that is for full 1000g. I was a bit pants with the end boss and another bit near the end which cost me a bit of time. @Kaloudz It is good for a linear game. I prefer a bit of exploration but the story and voice acting are top notch. Nice and fresh in my brain for the sequel.
I'd been holding off on Plague Tale for a while. This gave me the proverbial kick up the rear to get it done. Luckily it is a fairly short game. At least it will be fresh in my memory for the sequel soon.
@RicebinBernacky I could watch Todd Browning's Freaks every month it is that great a movie at 90 years old. Not saying Goldeneye is that good but I get why people want to play classics without having to resort to a retro set up or likely sub par emulation.
They gave away Torchlight almost 3 years ago. Seem to be getting a lot of repeats on the 360 side these days even though they added a load of new titles to backwards compatability last November.
@Zenszulu They didn't want to advertise being able to watch something for free they want to charge you for a little further down the line. I believe they only showed them once there as well and weren't on demand, at least they weren't when I looked.
I enjoyed 3 on the Gamecube back in the day. Preferred it to 4 which I thought was OK. I stopped at 4 and Code Veronica although dabbled in the 5 multiplayer and didn't see the point in it.
You can cancel at any time and renew at anytime. So if you aren't happy, cancel until a game worth playing for you is on the service and then renew. Or carry on paying monthly and get your Game Pass enjoyment out of it by complaining about lack of games.
Most of the games that make money are the so called service games anyway. Games Pass let's you play games you likely would never have bought and may sway you in buying the developer's next game.
@Xiovanni Imagine being in a store and someone hurling abuse at you because they didn't like what you are buying. You would assume that person needs professional help.
I have a feeling that the backwards compatible Games with Gold's days are numbered now that we are getting repeats. Two bigger Xbox One games would be better and surely the number of 360 only customers on Gold is very limited now.
Got loads from the original Xbox I never got round to and the list grows exponentially from there. It's the same with the PlayStation one and the N64 onwards. I always tell myself I'll play them one day.
Outpost Kaloki X was free shortly after they added it to backwards compatability. One day I will see if I can get more than the 10 gamerscore I got on it in 2009.

Re: Starfield Has Officially Gone Gold, Xbox & PC Preload Dates Revealed
@Kaloudz Definitely the biggest on Xbox and biggest new IP but we have already had Zelda and still have Mario and Spider-Man to come.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (August 5-6)
Finishing up A Plague Tale Requiem and then finishing up Spiderman Miles Morales.

Re: Ubisoft's New Prince Of Persia Game Is Getting Blasted On YouTube
@smoreon I didn't even know their music was in a previous game. I guess I blocked that out.

Re: Get Ready, It's Almost Time For The Xbox Spring Sale 2023
I am ready for the usual suspects to be on sale with a handful of new games just to spice things up a little.
Re: Feature: 50 Xbox Series X|S Games To Look Forward To In 2023
If you look forward to all 50 of these games then you are going to very busy this year.
Re: Xbox Adds A Brand-New Dynamic Background For Series X|S Owners
The tiles take up around 50% of the screen and the area where most of the meat of that background lives so it leaves you with a nice black background.
Re: 10 Random 'Gamers' Are Suing Microsoft Over The Activision Blizzard Deal
This lawsuit is probably costing them more than if they each bought a Series S/X if the games they want ever stop coming to the system they own.
Re: Hey Microsoft, Could We Please Get Our Xbox 'Year In Review' Stats For 2022?
@Edwirichuu Sadly I have no idea. It is in my backlog. I just picked a game that I knew was long.
Re: Hey Microsoft, Could We Please Get Our Xbox 'Year In Review' Stats For 2022?
@EvenStephen7 In my heyday I could have done it. Life gets in the way of gaming these days and I am lucky if I can squeeze in a couple of hours a day.

They are really scraping the bottom of the cauldron with these simulators now.

It will be 50% off within a month when the inevitable sale happens.

Is it going to feature all the latest slang terms like "wizard", "ace" and "hot diggity dog" so all the kids will play it?

@rhyno_888 The PS3 version was an enhanced version of the DS game from 2010 I believe.

Finished Innocence last night after finding out it was about to leave. Ready for this new one next month.

I'd be all over a 3DO2 or 4DO. I am sure the name could be brought for pocket change for Elon to make it happen.

I've gone all Beavis and Butthead with this game's title.

This guy works for Xbox so he isn't going to say PS5. Not everyone has the same opinion and the world (apart from Twitter) is a better place for it.
