It's time for another round of Pick One! This week, we're looking at three of the most popular Xbox Game Studios releases in recent years and asking if you could only play one of them, which would you pick?
Remember, you can only pick one!
Let's take a look at what we're working with:
Forza Horizon 4
Dynamic seasons change everything at the world’s greatest automotive festival. Go it alone or team up with others to explore beautiful and historic Britain in a shared open world. Collect, modify and drive over 450 cars. Race, stunt, create and explore – choose your own path to become a Horizon Superstar.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection
The Master Chief’s iconic journey includes six games, built for PC and collected in a single integrated experience. Whether you’re a long-time fan or meeting Spartan 117 for the first time, The Master Chief Collection is the definitive Halo gaming experience.
Ori and the Will of the Wisps
Embark on a journey in a vast, exotic world, fully optimized for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. In this must-play sequel to the award winning Ori and the Blind Forest, Ori is no stranger to peril, but it will take more than bravery to reunite a family, heal a broken land, and discover Ori’s true destiny.
Let us know which of these three games you'd pick (and why) down in the comments below.

Ori is a timeless masterpiece
Easy choice for me. FH4.
How is Ori last?
Ori. It's no contest
Easy pick
Master Chief Collection
No hesitation, Forza Horizon 4. Such a fun game.
@Bdbrady ori is definitely the closest to “masterpiece experience” of this list. But all of the best Halo games in one collection takes it for me.
If I could only play one? It's hard to choose between Ori and Forza.
I haven't played Will of the Wisps yet but Blind Forest is probably the best Xbox One game I've played so far.
Forza Horizon 4 was my first game on the Xbox One X and it blew me away. Very surprising for a genre that I'm not typically interested in.
They are two of the best games/series on Xbox in my opinion but I chose Forza Horizon 4 in the end just because it is a longer game. I could play it for longer without feeling like I am "playing it over again".
It's a bit like choosing your favourite food. Chocolate, steak or garlic bread starter? They are all good and all bring something different to the table. These are not necessarily my favourite foods.
I have to go with Master Cheif..
Having 5 great campaigns (and Halo 4), fun in both single and co-op, as well as a massive selection of PvE and PvP options, not to mention 7,000 Gamerscore covering a wide range of activities, MCC is an easy pick.
More than enough to keep all sorts of gamers busy.
Ori is perfection, but HMCC is timeless and amazing bang for its buck, so I had to go with that over Ori.
While the Ori games are great, this is just a choice of the second game in the series vs an entire history of Halo vs the best version of Forza Horizon so far.
Tough choice between the latter two, but seeing as I'm not much of an online fps star, I'm gonna go with Forza Horizon 4, even if for its infinite replay value alone, but also for its ENORMOUS range of content in cars, environments, additional DLC and so on and so on.
Having all of that in one single game is even more impressive than almost all of the Halo titles bundled together...
I have never played Halo, but since Mass Effect collestion is coming i don't fell the need for Halo. I tryied Forza and i wasn't convinced. Ori, that's another story. I am in the middle of Blind forest and that game is awesome
The ONLY thing that I am not enjoying about forza horizon 4 is the constant ads for dlc. I get it, there is dlc I don't need to be reminded about it with a video every 2 or 3 events I complete.
Forza Horizon 4 was the first game I played when I got one One X, enjoyed it until I realised it made no difference whether you win or lose !
Was a hard decision but i went with Halo over FH4 just because the multilayer is more entertaining for me than Forza. Haven't played Will of the Wisps yet but those games are usually one n done for me so it's not a contender if i only had one to keep playing.
MCC hands down! Easy pick for me. All great games but MCC has multiple games packed into it plus I’m a sucker for halo sp and mp.
My Xbox one is essentially a halo machine soo..
Ori 2, no doubt
Horizon 4 no question. TBF you could replace that question with any of the horizon games and my answer would still be the same.
Ori, without a second thought. Don't care about driving/racing games other than Mario Kart, and nothing about Halo has ever grabbed me.
Ori and Halo are amazing games.
I think even racing game haters would agree Forza Horizon 4 sets itself apart from them. In a market almost saturated with racers its a one of a kind game.
none of them cant stand halo hate racing games and hate platformers
Ori and Cuphead are the pinnacle of Xbox studios !!!
@CrazyJF nice, mines the other way around because 4 was my pack in and I got 3 a bit later on 😅
So good though, also stuff like Burnout and Destruction Derby was so good. I think the racing games are a bit better when they are less realistic.
Considering the reputation of Motorsport though, it was a huge surprise when I found Horizon to be an off road, open world and generally bonkers game. It's sort of realistic but then like totally unrealistic as my car flipping down the side of the mountain will attest!
Ori and the Will of the Wisps is by far my favorite game ever
This is a tough one but for me the single best game is Ori.
That said while it has replay value it doesn’t offer the same amount of content as he other two.
Forza Horizon 4 is truly brilliant, always “just one more race”.
Halo MCC is 6 great games in one.
If I had to play one ONCE it would be Ori, it I had to choose one forever... thats more difficult but probably one of the other two.
@foobarbaz Forza Horizon 4 is also my first Forza game and I am absolutely hooked right now. It's not my usual genre only played it due to reviews and Game Pass - I haven't been this into a racing game since Burnout Paradise or Gran Turismo 3, but it's just so good... always just one more race! (a few too many late nights have ensued)
Bought the Ultimate pass for £20 in the sale, which felt like an absolute bargain.
Happily also bought FH3 Ultimate before it was delisted through some sort of FOMO prescience. Looking forward to jumping on that too in time.
