Apart from KOTOR 1 and 2 I own all the pre Xbox One titles it seems. They must have all been Games with Gold at some point.
Picked up both KOTORs as I haven't owned on xbox before and interested in playing on my series S. Used rewards points so didn't cost me a thing. Will scratch that bioware itch until Mass Effect trilogy comes out.
Which of these games might I like? Any recommendations?
Looking for something with a story.
I've only played Jedi: Fallen Order (8/10 for me)
and the campaign in Battlefront 2 (XB1) (7/10 for me).
Would I like Force Unleashed? Do the old Battlefront games have an actual story?
Edit: Not interested in the LEGO games - I already have a couple (HP and Batman) I haven't finished yet
@everynowandben Force Unleashed is very repetitive, but it has a fun (albeit a bit over-the-top) story and makes you feel like a badass Jedi. Like giving you force powers and turning them up to 11.
Knights of the Old Republic has a great story, it's a lengthy campaign and it looks (relatively) great on Xbox One X & Xbox Series X because of the 4K visual boost Microsoft gave it. The combat is a bit dated though, so it might put you off...
Jedi Academy isn't the best port (it's much better on PC), but again it has a fairly good story and the lightsaber combat is great.
There are more, but I have to get back to writing news
If you haven't played Jedi Fallen Order yet I highly recommend it, Great single player game..
Episode 1 Racer for me, I think I own all the rest, we've had quite a few of these on GWG too.
Trying to resist the temptation of getting KOTOR I and II. I have the original discs, but have a Series S...I only have myself to blame!
Out of the Lego Star Wars games which ones would people recommend?
@everynowandben If you’re looking for story, get Knights of the Old Republic
@everynowandben the closest to the two you mention are the force awakens games. Cinematic stories and some get set pieces. Good cast etc.
KOTOR 1 & 2 are stone cold classics but are more RPG and turn based in battles and fights. So a very different thing.
There is a campaign mode in the old BF 2 but it’s nothing like the story in new BF2 - my recommendation would be
Force unleashed 1 & 2 and Republic commando.
Watch some videos of KOTOR if you are on fence about them. I love them but they have aged. The three above absolutely stand up.
I got a one that was missing from my collection Lego Star Wars III and i got Force Unleashed II to replace my broken PS3 copy but that's it apart from BF2CE, i have it on PS4 but it was from when it was on PS+ so i figured might as well get it while it's cheap so i actually own a copy
Shame i can't transfer all my progress over though but meh
On a side note anyone else have a Star Wars gaming day yesterday?
