You'll be getting EA Play as part of your Xbox Game Pass Ultimate / PC subscription at no extra cost this holiday.
Microsoft is teaming up with publisher EA to offer this tasty deal; it means that Ultimate members can enjoy EA Play on Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and Windows 10 PCs, while PC members will get EA Play solely on their Windows 10 machines.
EA Play β which was formerly known as EA Access and Origin Access β offers more than 60 of the publisher's biggest games, including FIFA 20, Titanfall 2 and Need for Speed Heat, as well as access to franchises like Battlefield and Mass Effect. It also offers exclusive in-game challenges and rewards, special member-only content and discounts on EA digital purchases, and you can also demo many of the company's latest titles for up to 10 hours before you choose to make a purchase.
That's not all, either β some EA Play titles will also be available for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members to play on Android devices via Project xCloud at no additional charge.
Looking forward to this? Happy with the addition? Let us know in the comments below.

Thatβs great news for Xbox platform. π
Another pro-consumer move for Gamepass.
Is this the most pro-consumer move EA has done recently?
Wow, Microsoft is seriously killing it now! All these announcements are definitely convincing me that I'm choosing the right system to invest in next generation. This is just incredible value!
Wow, thatβs absolutely massive.
Every time you think that the deal canβt be any better, they actually find a way.
Good news, i hope jedi fallen order soon ππ»
This is more like "emptying the clip" we all expected.
Sounds good, hopefully the downloads work with those reward punch cards!
@TheNewButler Actually you are right. The only good games there are Titanfall 2 and Battlefield 1,V,4 if you are a fan. But if you are into sports games there is big value in there.
MS is really going all in for subs and services next gen
wow, just wow, I'm speechless
Very, very impressive. Game Pass is setting the standard for game subscription services, absolutely no doubt about that. Wow.
@BrilliantBill @TheNewButler What are you guys talking about??

Dead Space, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Crysis, Star Wars, not to mention lots of great indie titles like Unravel. Those are definitely nice bonuses to have with Game Pass!
Great news! I'll for sure play some.
That's massive news...
For someone with nearly 3 years of Game Pass Ultimate subscription left to have content added like this for free... It seem's too good to be true..
Just when I'm trying to cut down the amount of hard drive space I use for game downloads π€£π€£
This must have cost Microsoft a pretty penny...
Great news indeed, love you MS!
@LtSarge Exactly; not fond of EA in any way, but there's a tonne of value in this.Having the PC version is now icing on the cake
This is amazing! I'm in a unique situation where I haven't played most of these games so it's going to be a lot of choices as to what I start. Definitely going to be a Star Wars game
@TheNewButler That doesn't mean that the games are bad. Omitting titles because you've already played them doesn't make sense. You're telling people that Titanfall and Battlefield are the only games worth playing on EA Play. Have you considered the fact that people may not have played games like Dead Space, Mass Effect, Dragon Age etc. yet?
This is a fantastic addition to GamePass. I have always been someone who owned both a PlayStation and and Xbox, but as I get older and have less time and money to spend on games, little things like this are why I'm only going with Xbox next gen. I can save so much money on the price of the console with Series S, the value of GamePass just keeps growing, I can continue to use all my Xbox one controller, etc. Unless the ps5 all digital is magically 300-350, Xbox is where I'll be all next gen.
Surely the monthly cost of Game Pass will go up in the not to distant future....
@Z3u5000 is that a mock up series s tear down?
@teknium_ Itβs officially released now.
Does this mean I can cancel my current EA Play subscription and it will be included with my Game Pass Ultimate subscription instead?
While EA Play is pretty cheap overall anyway, that is pretty incredible that they're now including it in Game Pass Ultimate.
With the backwards compatibility of Xbox as well it makes EA's offering pretty strong.
We're now looking at over 300 games included with Game Pass now, and really good games too!
@TheNewButler but fifa 20 is also available. So I don't see the problem.
That's awsome news for gamepass subscribers..
While this is good for many, personally a bit disappointed this was the BIG GamePass announcement. Reason being I cancelled EA Access/Play as there just wasnβt much I wanted to play. Had played most of the options on there and many other of the 360 games were already given out with Games with Gold.
Was hoping for streaming on console
Game Pass keeps getting better.
This is awesome news!
This makes Game Pass an even more amazing value than it already was.
And EA gets a lot of flack (rightfully so), but they have made some awesome games over the years.
Xbox is just killing it right now. ππ»
@GamingGiant Yep. Itβs going to be included with Game Pass Ultimate.
One minute every hates EA then all of a sudden they join gamepass and its wonderful news and everyome is happy how wonderful EA are ππ
@playstation_king Ive seen a few ppl here not care about ea play, I'm one of em, but it's a great vaule to gamepass subbers
Not what I expected, but I'm not complaining.
Even more added value to owning an Xbox and Game Pass, thanks, Microsoft!
Wonder how much Microsoft threw at EA for this to happen, the trend continues
@themightyant so don't EA add all new releases day one?
Blimey, mic drop moment
@playstation_king No they didn't, it's only their older 'vault' games. Unless they have changed direction with this, which I doubt, as they would have put that front and center as that WOULD be amazing.
It's still a good bonus, just not as great as some may think imho.
@themightyant ah ok yeah would of been something if they included new releases, then again what do they actually have coming out that ain't a sports game..
EA's gonna start complaining they're not making as much money now...
HYPEEEEEE
I know this rumour from jeff grubb month ago, but not expecting it will also comes to pc which is GREAT. Gamepass keeps on giving
Series S and GPU is a killer deal especially in uncertain times right now.
EA have amazing games from X360 era. Mass Effect, Dragon Age, and Dead Space games are excellent. Is Jedi Fallen Order in the vault?
@Justifier Not yet, but Battlefront 2 is.
I hope this means more people play Titanfall 2. Would love to get a next gen exclusive Titanfall 3.
