I bought it. After work I'm gonna workout, then walk the doggo, then shower and dinner. After all that, I'll start a new game on the series x, first person mode. Havent played the singleplayer since 2014.

@UltimateOtaku91 I'd say the "most accommodating", whether you're a pro or newcomer. And if you're on the fence about it, do like you said, wait for a sale and some more guides. I'm sure you have a backlog. No need to get it, just to be apart of the zeitgeist.

@UltimateOtaku91 elden ring, compared to other souls games, is the most welcoming. The grinding isn't as bad as other games, the summons and multiplayer summons are quite helpful. "Easy mode" would be being a spell caster. "Very easy mode" would be looking up walkthroughs, etc. You still have to beat the enemies yourself, but having a guide does ease it a bit. Also, for example, margit and godrick are hard, but there are a lot of little bosses to prepare you, on the way. Just gotta adventure and seek them out, like the evergoal's.

@Stoned_Patrol oh no. I used about 18k. I think that's what 2 ten dollar giftcards were. I accrued some more, recently. Just waiting on that risk of rain 2 dlc to land.

Gonna be that guy, but this is very, very niche. You can get a 15" 1080p/60hz/hdr/freesync screen for $165+. Plugs right into the either usb port on the series s. Less obtrusive to the rear ports and can be used on the ps4/phone/pc/mac. Hell, BenQ makes some decent monitors with speakers for $40-50 more.

I'm not worried about ms first party devs and line ups. I'm more worried about third party devs once again not making games for xb. Squarenix(and others) not making games for xb, some of the smaller AA games not making it to the xb, etc.

Ps pays for exclusivity, so to counter that, ms bought devs. It is, what it is.

I hope SoD3 is awesome at launch. SoD2 didnt have a great time, but has definitely pulled it together with the content updates and upgrades.

Hopefully there is a push for more kb&m games on the series x|s. Whether kb&m exclusive games or more games that allow kb&m. Probably in the minority here.

I know it's an old game, but that's still impressive, considering other games have struggled to hit similar marks on the series s.

Had a series s, picked up 1TB for cheap($185).
Got a series x now. No "regerts".

I imagine a fromsoft "easy mode" would be elden ring, but without the bosses.

Also, who knew fromsoft and the whole soulsborne genre triggered some people. Wow.

🤔too early to tell. But enjoying my 2hr jaunt, thus far.

Started as the wretch. Beat the guard in the tutorial area. Avoided the big golden horseback guy, killes some animals, cleared the front gate area, found a sword and armor bottoms, got torrent, rode off, got shot by a ballista, died, went back to get my souls, I mean runes. Found the grace, went to bed.

Looking forward to another round of "live or die". Holding a weapon with 2-hands is a but cumbersome, you have to press [LB]+[RB]+Y at the same time. Sneaking is a very viable way to go through the game. So far, i must've backstabbed everyone.

This is great news! I'll be able to regale my grandchildren with tales of the first one and how we played on consoles that used discs and controllers.

I must be old...is this what people think of while playing games? Framerates and resolutions? In my days explosions would cause framerate drops. At the end of every round, in SFII on SNES, there was massive slowdown. All this on carts, mind you, but not once did I stop my enjoyment, to think, "whoa, look at the framerate. Garbage game". You young ones have got it lucky.

@LocalPenguin it's a great game. It's the unofficial walking dead, the game.

• Search and salvage for supplies(food, building materials, fuel, guns, ammo)
• find a habitable and safe base camp
• interact with other groups(get more survivors, allies or make some foes)
• make sure people are happy and healthy
• There are vehicles, which come with more pros and cons.
• day and night cycle
• Different types of zeds.

@MaccaMUFC I'd blame the devs, for the series s lackluster punch. Especially dying light 2, considering PC's are having optimization problems with the game. So when they said "series s is holding it back" I guess they were referring to PC's, as well.

Don't boot the hackers. Keep this up. Annoy the fcuk out of them. Let them rage against the game and the wasted money.

If ms just made MvC2 backwards compatible, that would make a lot of headway and take the winds out of some sails.

If it's not canon, then it's not Master Chief. Or halo. If they didnt want to depict Master Chief, or halo, as canon, why not start a story of different Spartan.

It's definitely confusing, if you're a casual ps user. But if not, it's just convoluted.

Kudos to Murray and his staff. This is the model gaas should follow. New content, major yearly updates, with smaller updates throughout the year. Improvements and additions to the game.

Considering the people who bought a series s, didn't care for big 4k graphics, 1080p at 60hz shouldve been more than capable. And I feel 1080p at 60hz(+) is what devs should aim/hit on the series s.

It went from a negative, to a zero. Hopefully with added updates and dlc, it can go from zero to a positive. I look forward to jumping in again, but let's not praise them for getting the game up to par. They need to go above and beyond, like the nms devs did. Then the praises should come.

I just came to say, MORE games need demos. Make a stage not tied to the game, but shows the ins and outs. Or make a demo be the tutorial of a game, then a bit more, and if you want to purchase, your data transfers, etc.

@StylesT yeah, I downloaded it, thinking I'll give the campaign a shot. It's on gamepass, what could hurt. Turned it on, and it says I have to purchase the campaigns. [UNINSTALL] well, that was time well spent.
