Pardon my ignorance, but how are the sounds on these monitors? Will I be buying a separate sound system with these or do they come with tiny speakers built-in?

Sequel would be cool, but if the words "open-world" are anywhere near it, I'm out.

A lot of these ps games will be playable on an xbs' with the new browser? Also, I heard nvidia's streaming capabilities are supposedly 4× faster than xcloud. So maybe latency, etc, might be little to none.

Damn. I'm not much of racer. Played ridge racer and gt, back then, a little fh4 for the points recently. But this looks phenomenal. Makes me wonder what playground games and another developer could achieve in an action adventure game.

@KilloWertz well, seeing how they're gonna release gta III re on psnow and gta sa on gamepass, makes me believe that the trilogy($60) might be available individually. Probably for $25-30 each.

Just make some great exclusives, whether they are multiplayer heavy or cinematic focused single player. Make the games and they will come.

Alright, my sentiments are if they just happen to port over the San Andreas that was released on the 360 and android, etc, and the equivalent for the other two, I see no reason to buy this. "Improved light and textures" are of little to no improvements. If it was along the lines of the alan wake remaster, I would be interested.

A "free play day" for insurgency would be nice.

Depends on input latency and how the graphics hold up. If there is slow down and/or degradation.

L4d2 with backwards compatibility, this, wwz, aliens fireteam, deep rock galactic, killing floor 2. Spoilt for choice when it comes to these type of games. Not to mention the similar horde modes in other games.

What I gather from the reviews, good or bad, is "it's more farcry!". Now, whether that is a positive or a negative, is up to the individual.

Also, like the just cause series, what's with the island nations/caribbean vibe? I'd like to see a farcry or just cause in a heavily populated metropolis.

I got one round of conquest in, this morning. It's battlefield. I havent played since bf4, so it's nice to jump back in. The levels are huge. Like someone said, even with 128 players. More time with the beta, then time with the 10hr trial, should be enough for me to decide, whether to buy or not.

I've heard graphically, won't be much difference, and that's fine with me. I'm just hoping gameplaywise, there is enough. I'll play the beta, if things look decent, I'll check out the ea access 10hr trial, if I like it more I'll buy it. If not, there's fc6 or others.

@Roqka the farcry games aren't tied together. If this is your first foray, have fun. You don't need to know the others to enjoy this one.

@LtSarge eneba has game pass ultimate for $106.99 for a year.

I keep the optimized games on the ssd's, the series s and the 1tb seagate, and the backwards compatible games on there respective hdds. Quick resume helps with keeping those games readily available. And the ssds and their quick loading are great for the optimized games. But with the 1TB on sale, frequently for $185, the 512gb has to be comparable.

Man, how I miss the days of linear gameplay of yore. The GoW I-III series, just go from point A to point B, kill things in between. Then with assassin's creed, you start here(A), the target is there(B), how you get there and kill the target, is up to you. Now it's point A to point B, but in order to reach point B, you HAVE to do A.1, 2, 3, etc. I enjoyed open world games, when they WEREN'T the norm, but I guess we did this to ourselves, by wanting more "game" to play.

@themightyant scarlet nexus and nier are more hack n slash. Code vein is more anime dark souls. Octopath is closest to a traditional jrpg.

What is the difference between a "tactical fps" and a non-tactical fps? Examples being cs:go and valorant are tactical fps? While cod or halo aren't?

I enjoyed the older ghost recons, think island thunder(2002), rainbow six games(black arrow) and the newer, but older, operation flashpoint games. Is this along those lines? Or more cod?

I'm intrigued. When I streamed games from my phone over wifi, with a bluetooth connected controller, the input latency left something to be desired. And I wondered, with a wired connection and a more powerful device, if that would be cut down, dramatically. Now we get to find out. Fingers crossed.

Glad they're upfront about it, and that they were focused on last gen consoles.

Meh/indifferent should be an option. I, neither love nor hate the selections.
