Doesn't need to acquire a japanese studio, especially if none are willing to sell to a western company. Just do what sony does, pay for exclusivity, or entice someone with money and other intangibles, to make an exclusive for xb. I hear platgames really wants to finish scalebound. On the off chance that ms does buy a japanese studio, who's to say the devs don't leave. Studio is one thing, talent is another.

@deadmaker the game is a typical third person shooter for the opening segments. When you start getting powers, is when it starts getting good. When you can [REDACTED] and [REDACTED] at enemies feels real good.

I was ecstatic for the 360 game, beat it. The the xb one version was cool, because of the first person mode, felt like a new game. But now, after so many years, feels like this game is "die as a hero or live long enough, to see yourself become the villain" situation. What will gta vi hold for us, with all the pros and cons added over from gta v, etc. Will it be an online only game. A live, persistent, living breathing world, where we are forced to cross play, online, all the time?

..it sounds like if you wanted more dying light, then that's what you got, in spades. If you wanted something more, something evolved from the previous game, then you're left wanting.

Huh, I've gotten all the games I've wanted from these sales. Just wading through the backlog and on game pass drops and new releases, now. I'm sure if konami gets their heads, out of their asses, and release the simpsons and xmen arcade games again, I'll buy them. Also, any word on when/if mvc 2 is gonna be BC?

Man, the days of battlefield bad company 2 and the great multiplayer moments are long gone. I remember one match, our sniper spotted some guys, other squad mate laid done some smoke, I ran for a flank, shot them down. When the smoke cleared, I was facing the barrel of an abram tank. I resigned myself to respawn, when the tank blew and my homie was behind it, cackling about his love of c4. Sad, really. Pour one out.

There are some pretty decent portable gaming monitors out there. I've found 4k 60hz, 2k 144hz, 1080p/60hz/hdr/freesync. At equal or lower prices.

I always felt that the kingdom under fire games did the musou formula a little better.

January 4th, it was $128 and has been in a steady decline since. Now sitting at $112. So nothing really drastic or worrisome. Probably gain it all back, and then some, when they announce the Spartacus program or partnership/acquisition of square enix*

So, activision blizzard is so much of a ***** show, right now, that when Spencer said "we are evaluating our current business practices with them", what he actually meant was "if you want it done right, do it yourself"

If you think about the "acquisitions", etc, sony started it, technically, with the whole console exclusive deals with destiny, cod, square enix, etc. MS took it one step further and better, that's all. Don't hate the player, hate the game....that sony started, but couldnt finish.

I have a series s. I just came into a series x. Although I do have a handful of physical games, I've yet to set up the x. The s is "just the right amount" of everything. Perfect size. Games look and play great. I don't have an oled or crazy expensive tv. Just a samsung 4k/60hz, so not missing much on the graphical front. Games are the same. I guess I'm waiting for them to harness the full potential power of the x, before I set it up. First world problems.

@Dusk_Actual I came across a hacker in cod:wz, when it first came out. He had an aim bot. I watched him play til the end. Had 25+kills, every shot landed. Needless to say, I reported, got an xb message a day later saying that I helped ban a player. I was happy.

Better done right, than right now. Hopefully someone is in the process of porting over the first one. 1:1, or remaster, whatever. Be nice to play, before the sequel.

One of the better zombie/survival/management games, ever. Don't know how many games are in this category, but SoD2 is the epitome of it. With the update to add sidearms, as well as a main weapons and melees, it definitely plays better now.
On SoD3, I'm more upset they showed that trailer(July 2020) so soon. Knowing it wasn't gonna be a 2022/2023 release.

Cross platform used to be something people wanted, til they got it. If it was an option, like on some games, and not mandatory for full multiplayer experiences, like others, I'd be happy. Too much to ask, I guess.
