Well, considering the article that said some stores aren't selling the series x|s' due to gamepass, xcloud being available elsewhere(ie phones, tablets) and on older consoles, I'm surprised it's that high.

@JON22 I had this problem as well, only when using my xbo bt controller on my series s. I updated that xbo bt controller, and haven't had an issue since.

I feel kinect could've been as successful as psvr, if it remained an optional accessory. Kinect 2.0 could've had an AR/VR type headset, that illumi-room thing could've expanded, etc. But once ms started forcing people to buy it, with the underpowered xbo, it was downhill from there.

This is one of those, if true, buy asap digitally, physically, both. Like the Simpsons and xmen arcade games, it might get pulled quickly.

@BBB well, I can turn away a "complimentary dog turd", I'm not obligated to accept it. Same with these free games. Don't like them, walk on by. No one was crying about "getting free games", when it wasn't an option. Like the saying goes, "give'em an inch, and they think they're a ruler".

@The_Pixel_King if you have an abundance of older xbox games on disc and want/need "4k gaming and ray tracing" then a series x is for you. But if not, then the series s will do.

So when I look at my games list, the optimized games usually have the X|S mark on the store page or icon, etc., but I don't see those logos for remnant: from the ashes. Is this optimized for series x, but not s?

I've seen the majority of people, and they fcukin suck. So when they have a platform, that affords them anonymity, of course the vitriol is gonna come out. A lot of pent up frustration, because of their lot in life. You can tell how small, intellectually and physically, some is when they jump straight to racist or homophobic taunts.

Til I get a series x, I'm sticking with the series s. It helps that it has a buttload of games, from the past, to the present. Although, the one thing I do miss from older generations, is the ability to upload music to the console and have it play your songs in games.

I started playing anvil and I get a serious risk of rain 2 vibe. It's pretty fun. Put in one run or ten.

Man. With the addition of cloud gaming, hitting those weekly gamepass quests are a cinch. No need to download anything, just load up the cloud version, boom unlocked.

Tinfoil hat on: the cyberpunk dystopia I've been reading about, is slowly coming to fruition. With the "metaverse" I see the poorer people "plugging" into their "decks", to escape, etc. With all these ransacked stores, by mass crowds, the corporate police can't be far behind. The vast chasm between the rich and the poor. Robotics advancing at an alarming rate. Reading about it, is more fun than experiencing it...I hope.

Depends. If you like racers, fh5. Fps, halo. RPGs, dqxi. Absurdity, sunset overdrive. Etc.

@Jango-Forest you get the xbone games and newer, so long as you're a sub. The older 360 and og xb games you get to keep.

Some halo infinite, followed by some assassin's creed odyssey free play day, with some dying light on the switch. Really surprised at how well dying light runs, in handheld mode.

I got a series s, so most of my gaming is digital, as well as my backlog. But nevertheless, if I bought physical, I would expect to be able to play out of the box. Whether it needed a day one patch or not.

Man, I was looking forward to this, but after the 78 from pcgamer and the 3.5/5 from Tom's guide, whoever that is, I have to say I'm still excited to play this!

My first experience with gen zero. I create a character, get stuck in the loading screen after the little story of crashing on the shore. Then an achievement pops up, "Fashionista - collect 200 items of apparel" ha!
Close game, restart.
My second experience, was much better. I went through about 5 "missions" got some weapons, an assault rifle, sniper rifle, shotgun, handgun. Looking for the residents, after the bomb shelter.
Thus far, not a bad game. It's fun.

@aj102404 but these aren't emails, they're direct messages. So she probably gets dings and alerts, every min asking for stupid shyte. That can get tiring. With emails, unless notifications is turned on, you can check at your leisure. Yeah, she could turn off notifications for her dms, as well, but she might miss something important, amongst the detritus.
