@InterceptorAlpha It would be so much unnecessary work to have a toggle for each and every piece of armor a purist would and would not want to see though.
Good news is we're still a long ways from a Spartan in a banana suit or literal celebrity skins. And even though they gave a lore description for it, this all started with Hayabusa in Halo 3. That armor immediately looked out of place but everyone drooled for it.

These are simply skins that have no lore background or purpose other than to look different. I think they look deadly and I can't wait to unlock them in MCC.

This looks very promising! I just hope they don't pull a Halo CE Anniversary where there's added light sources every few feet.

@K1LLEGAL The chronology is a total mess. On 360 you'd have to play Metal Gear Solid 3 > Peace Walker > Ground Zeroes > Phantom Pain > Metal Gear > Metal Gear 2 (both available through 3 HD) > Metal Gear Solid 2. So you would ultimately miss out on the first Metal Gear Solid (never ported to Xbox) and MGS 4 (never ported in general since it has too many features unique to PS3).

It still surprises me that such an expansive game was ported to the 360/PS3 consoles in the first place. And from what I saw it still held up surprisingly well from graphics and performance.

@InterceptorAlpha Ah. Yeah I definitely consider them weaker than the OG trilogy but I've still replayed them both a lot. And Spartan Ops just felt like Firefight with objectives, but I get why they're hated too.
Personally as long as there's no Prometheans in Infinite that alone will elevate it above 4 and 5 for me.

These omissions are sad but temporary. If anything it's odd they won't just launch multiplayer first by itself.

So on day one, you're essentially buying a $60 solo campaign. That must have a pretty big impact on initial sales.

R&C Going Commando, God of War 2, and Halo 2 from that list specifically. But they could have listed better stuff like Spiderman 2, Silent Hill 2, Killzone 2, Dead Space 2, Lost Planet 2, etc.

@Harvy75 @LtSarge As an adamant fan of LP1 and especially LP2, LP3 is a dumpster fire by comparison.

It's close between Halo 2 and 3, but I always revisit 2's campaign more with the easier boundary breaking/exploration. While Acrophobia in Halo MCC helps in 3, there's still a ton of killboxes and invisible walls to limit exploration.

This is great news! I like the nostalgia from the 2011 version using Halo 3 assets but an upgraded/expanded version is very welcome.

The legal matters would make it nearly impossible, but it would be incredible if these builds were eventually released online for the fans to enjoy.

So as someone reading this article with no knowledge of the Far Cry 5 Map editor, are they using tools available in the map editor by default to create maps that look like maps from an N64 game, or were mods and stolen/copied assets at play?

Arkham Asylum for being a tight/focused experienced, City at a close second for expanding everything. Knight relied too heavily on the car, lacked memorable bosses and the plot twist/reveal of the Knight was awful.

This part seems to be hammed-up. The legitimate joyous baby audio used for the creature made me laugh the whole time this thing was stomping around. Not to mention it's easy to maneuver around and outrun.

I actually prefer this jolly blob over a full-size mannequin/doll stalking the halls. That would have made me scream.

Wait did the trailer call it an anime? Not sure about that one, and it looks like 360-era CGI. Other than that it could be a fun watch.

Hard pass. If they release another multiplayer game like Mercenaries or Raid Mode, then I'll be all over it.

Too far off to be hyped now. But Halo will always be my favorite FPS and I'll be playing day one on PC.

You owe it to yourself to play LP2 if you haven't yet. Such a fun game and is boosted significantly when playing co-op! Tons of replayability and unlocks to grind away on as well.

Always hoped they would try an off-shoot or bonus Real Time mode that plays more like a standard NFL game with more violence.

@everynowandben Appreciate the well thought out reply. I will admit I never liked Uncharted and The Last of Us took time to grow on me. So if these recent titles can hold a candle to TLoU, I can give them another shot eventually.
When it comes to the Tomb Raider series, I'm just saying I appreciate the mostly action-focused gameplay that hinged on a sort of campiness and couldn't find the narrative of the reboot that engaging. It was a reboot the series needed though, as we saw what happened with Tomb Raider Underworld (ugh 😔).

Anniversary. Reimagines the OG with much better controls and isn't a knockoff Uncharted like the recent entries.

So it's coming to PC. Yet another non-exclusive 😏

Excellent multiplayer with pointless microtransactions, undercooked but enjoyable single player, forge mode requires XBL Gold even to simply build, and lack of split screen. A real mixed bag.
