But that's awesome, I'll be playing Witcher alongside Cyberpunk after I play through the rest of the Yakuza series (working on 4 rn).

@Banjo- Absolutely. MH is the king of the genre by far, and deservedly so for that reason. Each entry has charming little details to enjoy when you aren't actively slaying.

@Dm9982 That's completely understandable. God Eater requires mounds of patience to get invested in, and even then you'll still get burned out faster than any Monster Hunter.
So from that, I still haven't progressed through half of 2 yet to see 3, and my backlog continues to grow as well (including Witcher 3 lol). And I'm on board with the tutorials thing too, the best ones don't interrupt the gameplay or force monotony onto you, but are offered as optional windows or flow naturally at the start of the game (the first Dark Souls comes to mind there).

@Dm9982 God Eater has about as many pros as it has cons. Playing through the first game's (3!) stories co-op felt like an eternity, and there's so much repetition when you aren't changing up weapon types and custom bullets. 2 is almost more of a slog (less QOL since it only got one expansion unlike 1), and 3 is the shortest but easiest pill to swallow due to better balancing, pacing, and overall QOL changes.

Too freaking much 😵 Lost Planet Colonies and 2, Crazy Taxi, Sonic Unleashed, and Timesplitters 2. No regerts.

That's the true purpose of the Series X grating on the top- to dispense fries.

Hitman Trilogy is a must. Rainbow Six Extraction doesn't deserve the Tom Clancy association, regardless of how fun the game may be 😒

Played a few Halo 3 matches yesterday and totally forgot about the aiming reticle offset. Ended up being way too jarring and I went back to MCC. RIP 360 servers, but I'll always have those rose-tinted memories of the Halo 3 heyday to keep me warm.

Elden Ring and Starfield for sure, though it'll be via PC.

It would be neat to see an armor coating with a yellow helmet and primarily black/grey armor for that Celty vibe 😺🏍️

I do generally consider anything from IGN to be on par with Kotaku (ie worthless), but nothing about this game looked original from the start...I'm still hoping to be convinced otherwise.

Playing on OG Xbox One when away from PC and it's been working perfectly fine so far.

They're all solid, but Future Perfect gets top marks from me. The mini-game challenges, crazy cheats, and multiplayer map maker are a ton of fun, especially with friends.

Before the inevitable review-bombing? 85-90.

Why would they put a delisted game on sale? I was really considering MGS HD now that I'm spending more time on Xbox One lately 😔

@Generik It's really only worth it if you want to skip to level 25 of the battle pass and get those cosmetics immediately. If nothing sticks out to you in that range, then probably not.
I bought the standard pass to support the game's early release (and to actually get cosmetics every now and then), but personally I'd recommend holding off until they actually make the grind more worth it.

Wouldn't there also be a Bulldog Nerf skin too?

Within the last year my original Xbox One has gone from nearly neglected to one of my primary consoles thanks to all of these Game Pass features and games.

Hopefully next year they add Paramount+, I only want to watch that Halo 😎

Otogi made it?! Wow!

I was first exposed to Xbox and Halo CE gameplay as a kid watching an old friend play the campaign. It wasn't until the Xbox 360 that I'd get to play through Halo CE and 2 myself, and they've been among my favorite games ever since.
This is why the 360 era stuck out to me the most, especially with the release of 3 and countless online matches that followed.

@FriendlyOctopus Agreed. These devs just gave it to people straight, if anything I have more respect for them. The whiners can get their refunds and move on.

They should have paid him for a brief Cameo recording of a classic line to sell the joke.

@Bobobiwan That was super wholesome. As a PS2 owner myself, I was immediately jealous when I got exposed to Halo at my friend's house. I knew it was a big deal beforehand, but just watching someone else play it floored me. It wouldn't be until the 360 that I got my own mits on the series.

Why would it have to be tied to Ryse? Just make a new Rome-themed IP that does everything better.

Pre-MCC Collection I considered 2 and Reach my favorites. Recently I'm leaning more towards CE and 3. This just might reach (heh) or exceed CE and 3 to me.

The design doesn't really scream "Guardians of the Galaxy" but hey a console is a console. I'm sure the winner will be very happy regardless.

I'm getting some Just Cause vibes from the vehicle request pads, enemy strongholds, and air grapple vehicle jacking. And I'm all for it.

I've missed this look ever since they took it away from the 360 🥺 Tears of sadness and happiness at the nostalgia I just got hit with.

Been having fun with this new content so far! I'm still excited for the eventual addition of flood and elites into ODST Firefight.

Game Pass has resurrected my Xbox One from what was a sad dusty part of the shelf. It's very nice to jump between titles I own without fudging with discs and playing new games day one along the way.

From an unseasoned Ghost Recon player: Future Soldier. The previous games failed to hold my interest, but FS felt like a blend of Splinter Cell Convictions and Rainbow Six Vegas and I had a blast with it.

I love these new armors and I've been stockpiling points just for them! 🤟😬

Aragami 2 is awesome, but it still can't beat this game.

Konami should NOT make a new Metal Gear. Remakes or ports should be all they are concerned with. Without Kojima at the helm writing ridiculous off the walls plot, we would just get a sad mockery of what makes Metal Gear work.

MGS3 just needs small QOL changes to modernize the controls and maybe the UI. Having to pause every few minutes to re-apply makeup and clothing is a tad annoying.

Central Time always getting shafted in favor of Eastern and Pacific Timezones 😒 Make them do the calculations for once.

From a very simplified viewpoint, it's sad that you can end up being fined large sums of money for selling (or at least sharing publicly) something you yourself made.
But from the realistic perspective, this was extremely careless and he should have known better.

This definitely scratches the Tenchu itch and the mobility and combat feel great.

I appreciate them addressing this up front, and from the looks of it I'm going to have a great time playing this. I'll be buying it on Steam anyhow.
