Awesome. Played it a little on my laptop but not as much as I'd like as I don't often play many games on pc. Great game.

Sounds good. The first one was okayish. Still interested in this one as it's such an awesome concept.

Night mode sounds great.

I thought that was a lot of games but 5 of them are the Freddy games so no huge loss. If I was MS I'd try and make Celeste a fixture of Gamepass. One of the best games ever.

Nice. Looking forward to trying it out. Like the idea of a turn based rogue lite. Most of the top modern ones are action based.

I would hope given the critical success that MS would allocate them funds asap to make it as accessible to everyone as possible.

@John117 If it's like the first one it's a lot of wacky but also some decent gameplay in there too. Can't guarantee if you'll like it but if it interests you I'd give it a shot. Can't argue with the price anyway.

Wow. Pretty big week. Several fun looking games I'm interested in this week. Top two are surgeon simulator and golf club wasteland for me but that 90s game and the boxing tile look up my alley too.

Edit: I thought these were Game Pass games. I'm dumb. Oh well, surgeon simulator 2 is and that's the main one I want. The golf game is only $12 so I'll probably end up with both anyway.

Looks good to me. The people taking issue with the reboot need to look at a calander.

@SplooshDmg Not sure if you're aware but Yukes is working with AEW. They've got the design lead from AKI during the No Mercy days on board too. Very early days atm but hopefully they come up with something good.

Hope they have a lot of legends planned otherwise the roster is going to be barren af if they keep it up to date.

I'm definitely interested to see what they did with their time though. I enjoyed 19 but as a long time player you can clearly see the 20+ year old foundation the game is built on. If the game was consistently good that would be okay but it's far from it. I know people harp on a lot of games for iterating and barely changing but that's better than what you get most years with WWE. Hell, most fans would kill for a "Here Comes the Pain" or "SvR 07" with modern graphics, some updated modes and rosters.

And don't get me started on the biggest thing they introduced in the later games; "Universe mode". It sounds like a wrestling fans dream but is incredibly undercooked, even after half a dozen or so attempts. It's less of a game mode and more of a toy box that you interact with. It feels pointless overall though and never really engages you as a player. You basically have to put work into it to get anything out it. Pretty much sums up the series on modern consoles at this juncture.

Needless to say I didn't even bother with 20...

Honestly, outside of MS games I'm pretty sceptical of big games that debut on the service. Sure, sometimes it's obvious MS has just thrown big money at a great game like The Show 2021 to make a splash but when I see a supposed AAA announce it's launching on the service I set my expectations to "Outriders".

Looks really lovely. Definitely giving this one a look.

@pip_muzz there's a assist setting that helps with controller sensitivity. It's a necessity.

$7 off a terrible game like Biomutant is one of the highlights?

Oh, cool. I saw a video of the Olympics game and it looked like a bit of dumb fun. Not something I'd buy but good for a few hours on the weekend for free.

You can literally buy any game currently on Gamepass. Until that isn't the case these people really should pull their heads in. They come off like music execs every time a new type of music media came out. All doom and gloom and cassettes/internet/mp3/streaming is going to kill the industry!

Ooh, really tempted to smash through Monkeyball. At the same time I feel like waiting until the 1+2 remake hits might make that feel more special if I don't.

DF and My Life in Gaming need to get together and talk to each other as they're the only ones that don't think this stuff is ridiculous. Don't get me wrong, it's interesting to try it for a cheeky video. But banging on about how good your 4k console playing modern games looks on a CRT is just obnoxious.

I tried to download the demo but the majority of the games in the demo promotion it says they aren't available. I don't know if it's because I'm in Australia or what.

Oh man. Looks awesome. I can only imagine what it'll cost in Australia though. Don't think I'll be able to justify it unless I really get into Flight Sim when it drops.

The people whinging about games news getting spoiled on a games news site are extra special. Absolutely absurd. I didn't watch it live and still didn't get spoiled. It ain't hard, don't visit the games news places until you've watched it.

This looks way more like Steep than I initially thought it would be... I really don't think that's a good thing. There was fun to be had in it but you had to comb over a bunch of stuff not nearly as fun. This looks like it has even more bloat than Steep. More stuff does make for a good game, especially if only one or two modes are actually worth playing.

Why is there a million of these co-op pve games all of a sudden. I understand the battle royal thing given the success of PUBG and Fortnite but where did the explosion of this genre come from?

Always the same classics that go on sale. Idk why they don't just change the price if the Castlevania games at this point.

I was lucky enough to get my filthy mitts on both consoles so I'm very eager for us to leave the old generation behind. That said, I realise not many people have had my luck with the supply issues being what they are. I certainly wouldn't want all those people that haven't been able to upgrade left behind and from a install base perspective I can't blame publishers for sticking with the old gen. So overall I'm a bit disappointed but completely understand.

And hey, Ratchet and Clank comes out this week anyway which looks fantastic and MS Flight Sim should be around the corner which well and truly looks like a next gen experience. Besides, the cross gen games have looked pretty good anyway and the new consoles have other advantages besides new games.
