The Xbox Summer Game Fest Demo Event returned over the past few days, featuring demos for the likes of Tunic, Sable and The Riftbreaker. But another game that drew huge plaudits was... Lawn Mowing Simulator.
Yep, we told you this game was more important than Halo Infinite!
Xbox fans have been taking to Reddit to share their praise for how "therapeutic" the game's demo proved as part of Summer Game Fest, and of course, lots of jokes have been thrown around in the process as well.
Here are some highlights:
Sadly, the demo for Lawn Mowing Simulator has now disappeared following the conclusion of the Xbox Summer Game Fest Demo Event, so if you didn't get a chance to download it in time, you're out of luck for the time being.
Fortunately, it's set to receive a full release on Xbox consoles this summer. GOTY candidate incoming!
Lawn Mowing Simulator explores the Great British countryside and invites players to ride an authentic and expansive roster of licensed lawn mowers from prestigious manufacturers; Toro, SCAG and STIGA as they manage their mowing business.

They keep coming out with games that simulate things I try to avoid doing in real life.
Wow that looks so mind numbingly boring
I tried to download the demo but the majority of the games in the demo promotion it says they aren't available. I don't know if it's because I'm in Australia or what.
Jeff Minter's 'Hovver Bovver' brought up to date We just need the 'English Country Garden' as BGM
I saw a reddit post and this game is hilarious. Gamepass please
I have a couple acres if anyone wants to check this awesomeness out in real life.
As soon as this is available for pre order all be buying it, unless it comes to Game Pass then all get it there. It's a lot of fun and I'm not a big fan of mowing my yard in real life, but this is addictive. Oh, and on the Series X it looks, sounds and plays great (the demo).
