Decent selection of games is definitely subjective. If you're not interested in 2600 games or Sierra it's pretty rubbish.

I got it and played an hour or so. It seems like a much better game than Expeditions but I am a bit bummed by how they removed fuel and vehicle damage. Seems like a big omission rather than streamlining.

Played the first level and it was fine but didn't grab me. Not really into the combat loop with the melee and shield stuff. I want to shoot stuff and don't like feeling locked in to the one play style.

Not saying it's bad or anything. Just doesn't feel like it's for me. Will give it more of a chance though.

Hope they've got their best detectives on it because I think they're going to struggle to prove any infringements. It's like if the Euro truck guys got territorial on all the other people that revolve around driving a truck. Of course there's gameplay similarities, the two games share a theme. Unless there's actual theft of code or assets I imagine they'll be sol.

Having it be a public vote just makes it completely irrelevant. Which I doubt they care about. It's something they did to get headlines. The more ridiculous the list is the better it is for them.

I played Diablo 3 to death but that was on PS4. Might be a good excuse to boot it up again. I fell off D4 before I even beat the story campaign. Wasn't bad, just didn't hold my interest at the time. Being on Gamepass kind of changes my attitude on games too, there's not that "I paid good money for this" compulsion I might have if I dropped full price for it.

One Lonely Outpost looks up my alley. As others have said, Monster Train is a great deck builder if you're into the genre. Well worth a play.

Jokes aside I can't see myself investing in an Xbox console again the way things are going unfortunately. Frankly, I don't know why MS would invest in an xbox console. It's one thing to have a bad generation or even two, but how do they gain any foothold again given the current state of the brand? Honestly I just don't see the point in an Xbox console existing if you can just get the games on another console. Why double dip and have two consoles when you can get everything on one?

And you can double my lack of enthusiasm if this guy is still the one in charge when and if the time comes for new hardware...

I just don't understand why the guy who is partly responsible for the current state of Xbox has been left in charge to handle what is apparently going to be a new era for the division. Okay, you need to pivot and all that, fine. But if the pivot is to become a 3rd party publisher why keep the guy that seemingly can't manage studios properly and ensure they get content out? That issue is going to greatly undermine a publishing model just as much as it did the traditional console model they've had until now.

Mario has never been rivalled in any generation as far as I'm concerned. I doubt anyone within xbox atm could do it.

Oh cool. The first was a lovely game. Didn't finish it though because I got focused on trying to 100% each level and then got over it lol.

If you've got the time over the next few weeks I also recommend Deaths Door. Fantastic game.

Frankly I agree with the old muppets, it's a game trailer show interrupted by an award show. Thankfully I watched it after it had been on a couple of hours so could fast forward.

@GuyinPA75 Haha, I thought the same when I looked at it on the game store. Read "action rpg" first and was optimistic but then saw "souls like" and lost all interest. I like actual Souls games but generally have very little time for all the imitators.

Should only have ever been one sku in the first place. If they wanted the console to be cheaper they could have taken more loss per unit. I mean they spent $70bil on Activision, it's not like they don't have the money and aren't willing to invest it to make the Xbox division stronger. Having a console on par with the the PS5 but cheaper and with no confusing (for lay consumers) options could have made a world of difference.

Isn't it the hype dead anyway? Never hear much about it these days. Looks like a great game so would be cool to get a cross platform release but I wouldn't hold my breath honestly, there's probably nowhere near enough money in it to attract Sony into shifting their stance on multi platform games.

I've already bought it when I got that upgrade thingy because I was impatient and wanted to play it at launch. I'm not going to download the game to play the dlc given what I've heard.

I feel like I'd want to start a new save which I can't be bothered to do atm so I'll give it a miss for now. Cool that people are enjoying it. Hopefully they keep fleshing the game out. While very big in a lot of ways it still like it was missing a lot. Tons of potential there though.

Modern Final Fantasy's look so unappealing to me. Haven't been remotely interested in one since FFXII. I forced myself to play through FFVIII and haven't touched any since (besides 14 but that's a different deal).

Not going to give them money until they offer a trial so I now how the service runs in Australia and with my network.

I played Inscryption when I still had PS+ but gave up when (spoilers ahead) it changed genre and after that I didn't like it. Really liked the first part though. Might give it another go though.

Why would you make this public information? If you were wildly successful it would make sense. "It didn't start out this well!". But Xbox management is the epitome of "how do you make 100 million dollars? Start with a billion!". They've failed at every turn, it's no surprise they don't get along behind the scenes. Half their job is probably finding a way to pin their failures on each other.

Great game. Team 17 always price their games too high though so not sure I'll get this unless it's reasonably priced.
