What a bunch of bs. Why would the length of the regulatory process make any difference? The games are on your store already. You now own them. There's zero work to be done. It's 100% just milking sales and protecting the relevance of the most recent mainline game (which I don't expect them to hand out for free tbh).
He thinks Kotick somehow lost in this situation? Is he the full quid? Does he not understand how many shares he would have had in the company that have just been bought at a premium and that his exit next year no doubt includes a golden parachute? Wish I was dealt such "karma" lol.
The top 6 issues that are easier to fix than the complete ui overhaul that's needed and multiple qol issues that would be far higher than any of this technical stuff on most players list of problemd would be a more accurate description imo.
But hey, the minuscule percentage of people with 32:9 set ups are sorted...
Still, loving the game. Just like to moan about it too as there's so many frustrating things I find baffling about it lol.
I think it'd be really cool and it does some like an omission but honestly, kind of don't trust Bethesda to implement them anyway. Can't imagine they'd end up feeling anything other than awkward and janky.
@Korgon Fingers crossed. Would be very cool. I assume they're including Revenge because they're including Metal Gear so maybe it's as simple as using the same emulator so it's no extra work. Perhaps it'll be a similar story for the PSP games?
Oh mad. Played 5 or so hours with the free trial. Didn't play much more because I wasn't going to buy it but wanted to play it when it hit game pass.
Fun game. Really decent return to form for NFS. Not as great as the classic PS2 era but then again it's kind of a hard task. It was the age of Fast and the Furious et al, and I was in the prime demographic. Now F&F is no longer about cars and I'm old af (okay, not that old but I have the same body as Vin Diesel on holidays).
It looked a bit "we have The Elder Scrolls at home" mixed with some Dark Messiah. I'm sure it'll be okay, I just have no idea why they don't just have them working on Bethesda properties so MS can get games out for those massive franchises. It's kind of baffling to me.
Looks like it might be an actual game now which is cool. No idea why they didn't add a truck sim style mode to MFS in the first place. I found the last one to be an incredible piece of tech that wasn't overly compelling. Awesome if you're into planes though no doubt.
Was very good. Definitely destroyed any of the competition. Only thing that would have made it better would have been an "available now" release for something.
Only thing I didn't like is that it seems that landing your ship is menu driven. Obvious why the limitations exist but it makes the whole space thing feel like more of a theme for a group of open world maps rather than an actual "open galaxy". That said those limitations probably lead to far bigger positives so it's not a huge deal.
Hopefully moons and such will be able to be fully explored.
I've been playing so much Railway Empire 2 I've legitimately woken up hours before my alarm thinking about the game. It's bizzare. That's not meant as a glowing review of the game or anything, I really enjoy it but it's not so unbelievably great that I should be dreaming of it. I think it's just the gameplay loop and playing it for hours each day created a bit of a Tetris Effect (tm).
Thankfully I beat the main campaign yesterday so I can put it up now lol.
I started Planet of Lana but I'm only a very short way in. Looks like a very fun Limbo-esque game. It has fantastic visuals. Not just the graphics and art direction which are superb but also the cinematic way they frame scenes and show off landscapes. Looking forward to getting back into it to see more.
Don't get too excited. This was one of the most over hyped games in a long while. Not bad by any means but its inclusion on goty lists last year was ridiculous. It's an average adventure game. If the main protagonist wasn't a cat it would have made next to no impact. And I say that as a cat person. A person that likes cats, for clarification, not like a khajiit or something.
As a consumer I like to review the value of games and wether or not they're remotely worth buying for rrp, much less even more.
Basically when Sega or any other company makes a game as good as Tears of the Kingdom is maybe they'll have earned the extra money. Imo even Sony hasn't with the exception of maybe GoW 2. Sega hasn't even come close in god knows how long.
I'm more forgiving of Nintendo upping their price though because here in Australia they sell Switch games for a lot cheaper than AAA titles on other platforms. Even with the price increase.

Re: Microsoft Appoints Former Forza Boss As New Xbox Game Studios Head
@JayJ Exactly what I was thinking. Absolutely soulless game.
Re: TimeSplitters Studio Free Radical Reportedly At Risk Of Closure
It's been so long since those games were made I'm not sure if they would have much in common with the original dev team beyond the name.
Hopefully they don't fold though obviously. Would suck for them to lose their jobs. Embracer is a straight up cancer on the industry.
Re: Return To The Skies In Flight Simulator's Free Content Update
Wish this game had a "career" mode so it was more gamey.

Edit: outposts I mean...

Re: EA Adds Another Dynamic Background To Xbox Series X And S
This game is going to make a great quiz stumper in the near future. Forgettable to the max.

Awesome. Right up my alley.

@Magabro And the PSP games, MG Acid 1 & 2 (doubtful they're seen again) and portable ops/peace walker.

Re: Compulsion Games Returns With 'South Of Midnight', A Day One Xbox Game Pass Release
Thought for sure this was going to be a double fine game at first. No idea what the actual game is but I certainly dig the vibe.

Re: It's Official, The Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake Is Coming To Xbox Series X|S
And the 1,2 and 3 bundle?
Re: Pick One: Which Of These June Xbox Releases Are You Most Excited For?
Not exactly neck and neck lol. Surprised SF isn't more hyped tbh. Doesn't seem as big as it should be.

Such a mess of a studio. Maybe it's better off if they're not under MS management. They might get even worse.

Re: These 10+ Games Are Coming To Xbox Next Week (May 15-19)
The Royal Court dlc is also finally coming out for Crusader Kings 3 on I want to say May 17th. Been looking forward to that forever.
Re: Reaction: Zelda Reviews & Redfall Woes Put The Pressure On Xbox Exclusive Starfield
Imagine the pressure they're under. This game has to be good. It's Bethesda's next game/big new IP and MS are dying for a 1st party home run.
They should know by now if they've got a winner though I guess. It'd still be a tense time though.
Re: Ubisoft's Trackmania Launches For Free On Xbox Consoles Next Week
That's cool. I've not loved these games in the past but can see the appeal. Will give it a go when it drops, can't argue with the price.
Re: FIFA 23 Officially Joins Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Next Week
Oh nice. Was wondering when it was due. Not played a Fifa in ages but I've been feeling like picking one up lately.

Re: These 10+ Games Are Coming To Xbox Next Week (May 1-5)

Re: 'Cassette Beasts' Jumps From PC To Xbox Game Pass In May, And Early Reviews Are Incredible

Re: Redfall Case Spotted With 'No 60FPS' Sticker Looks Hella Dodgy
If the sticker isn't legitimate it's a even bigger story. The box art absolutely shouldn't promote a feature the game won't have.
