Re: Bethesda Announces Six 'Top-Requested' Features Coming Soon To Starfield

MetalGear_Yoshi

The top 6 issues that are easier to fix than the complete ui overhaul that's needed and multiple qol issues that would be far higher than any of this technical stuff on most players list of problemd would be a more accurate description imo.

But hey, the minuscule percentage of people with 32:9 set ups are sorted...

Still, loving the game. Just like to moan about it too as there's so many frustrating things I find baffling about it lol.

Re: Need For Speed Unbound Receives Massive Free Update Ahead Of Xbox Game Pass Release

Oh mad. Played 5 or so hours with the free trial. Didn't play much more because I wasn't going to buy it but wanted to play it when it hit game pass.

Fun game. Really decent return to form for NFS. Not as great as the classic PS2 era but then again it's kind of a hard task. It was the age of Fast and the Furious et al, and I was in the prime demographic. Now F&F is no longer about cars and I'm old af (okay, not that old but I have the same body as Vin Diesel on holidays).

Re: Bethesda's Huge Starfield Direct Gameplay Blowout Was Everything We Wanted

MetalGear_Yoshi

Only thing I didn't like is that it seems that landing your ship is menu driven. Obvious why the limitations exist but it makes the whole space thing feel like more of a theme for a group of open world maps rather than an actual "open galaxy". That said those limitations probably lead to far bigger positives so it's not a huge deal.

Hopefully moons and such will be able to be fully explored.

Re: Pick One: What Was Your Favourite Xbox Game Pass Game In May?

I've been playing so much Railway Empire 2 I've legitimately woken up hours before my alarm thinking about the game. It's bizzare. That's not meant as a glowing review of the game or anything, I really enjoy it but it's not so unbelievably great that I should be dreaming of it. I think it's just the gameplay loop and playing it for hours each day created a bit of a Tetris Effect (tm).

Thankfully I beat the main campaign yesterday so I can put it up now lol.

I started Planet of Lana but I'm only a very short way in. Looks like a very fun Limbo-esque game. It has fantastic visuals. Not just the graphics and art direction which are superb but also the cinematic way they frame scenes and show off landscapes. Looking forward to getting back into it to see more.

Re: It Looks Like PlayStation Exclusive 'Stray' Is Coming To Xbox Soon

Don't get too excited. This was one of the most over hyped games in a long while. Not bad by any means but its inclusion on goty lists last year was ridiculous. It's an average adventure game. If the main protagonist wasn't a cat it would have made next to no impact. And I say that as a cat person. A person that likes cats, for clarification, not like a khajiit or something.

Re: SEGA Considers Following Xbox, PlayStation & Nintendo In Charging $70 For AAA Games

MetalGear_Yoshi

As a consumer I like to review the value of games and wether or not they're remotely worth buying for rrp, much less even more.

Basically when Sega or any other company makes a game as good as Tears of the Kingdom is maybe they'll have earned the extra money. Imo even Sony hasn't with the exception of maybe GoW 2. Sega hasn't even come close in god knows how long.

I'm more forgiving of Nintendo upping their price though because here in Australia they sell Switch games for a lot cheaper than AAA titles on other platforms. Even with the price increase.
