Update: We finally received confirmation during Xbox and Bethesda's E3 Showcase that Back 4 Blood will be available day one on Xbox Game Pass. It's hitting Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S on October 12.
Original Story: The highly-anticipated spiritual successor to Left 4 Dead called 'Back 4 Blood' will be with us on Xbox this October, and according to an alleged official video description, it'll also be hitting Xbox Game Pass at the same time.
Various fans claimed to have spotted the description for Sunday's upcoming Back 4 Blood presentation (which takes place two hours after the conclusion of Xbox's show), and this is apparently what it said:
We're assuming this description is the real deal, although unfortunately we haven't been able to verify it as the video was reportedly quickly made private or hidden, so we'll have to wait another 24 hours to find out for sure.
If you haven't heard of Back 4 Blood, it's being developed by the creators of the Left 4 Dead franchise, in which you'll embark on a 4-player co-op story campaign and work together to survive increasingly challenging missions.
Do you think we'll be seeing Back 4 Blood on Game Pass at launch? Give us your verdict down below.

I would rather wish for microsoft to pull out their wallets for other games. But great news for those interested if it were to be true.
This would be amazing as it's one of my most anticipated games.
I love a good team based horde shooter!
Will be good addition
Somebody probably got the "You had one job" speech for this.
Xbox sure loves getting these 4 player co-op games in Game Pass.
I can sort of see why as that means you could get 4 friends subscribed to the service to play these types of games for free rather than rely/hope each person buys the game up front.
I really hope this is true. I loved zombie army, World war Z, and Vermintide. I even liked that dinosaur one (I forget the name haha) so this would be amazing!
Gamepass is perfect for these types of games, keeps the online active for longer aswell
If it's on gamepass, Day 1 for me..
I really fancied giving this a shot but was out off by the price, especially when looking at the ultimate edition (or whatever it’s called). I’ll be great to actually try it before parting with the cash.
Played the hell out of Left 4 Dead 1&2 so I'm looking forward to Back 4 Blood.
Why is there a million of these co-op pve games all of a sudden. I understand the battle royal thing given the success of PUBG and Fortnite but where did the explosion of this genre come from?
Perfect for Game Pass and looking forward to this. the Left4Dead games were great and as a spiritual successor, this is a must have as far as I am concerned and yet another game that justifies my Game Pass Ultimate subscription!
@MetalGear_Yoshi Maybe because of Lockdown - with many people discovering the joy of playing and socialising with others, there is going to be surges in sales, popularity etc of those games.
That being said, MS are investing heavily in single player games too - a LOT of RPG's are coming - games with depth and replayability - not 10-12hrs and that's it. I do find it funny when SP 'only' people expect 'every' game to have a SP option. Why can't games cater to online only? Not every MP game is built around competitive - some are built for co-operative gaming and people like playing together..
I can understand why people are annoyed about BF2042 because there is a History of SP campaigns and DICE have chosen to stop catering to those players that buy the game to play the campaign.
What makes it great though is that you can play the game on Game Pass Day 1
