Square Enix has provided an official new release date for the delayed Life is Strange Remastered Collection, with the game now set to launch on February 1, 2022. It will include remasters of the first game and 'Before The Storm'.

The collection was delayed back in August "due to the ongoing challenges of the worldwide pandemic", with Square Enix explaining it wanted to "alleviate any additional pressure on the Life is Strange team".

There were concerns earlier this year that the two games hadn't received much of a visual upgrade at all, with the E3 trailer (above) receiving almost as many dislikes as likes on YouTube. It remains to be seen how the final product will fare, but at the very least we know the game itself is definitely worth experiencing if you haven't already.

Don't forget that Life is Strange: True Colors is also out now on Xbox, and it's been getting very positive reviews from a whole bunch of outlets, currently sitting on an impressive 84 Metacritic score for Xbox Series X. Additionally, the Ultimate Edition of True Colors provides (eventual) access to the Remastered Collection at no extra charge.
