I feel like it’s the 2000’s again with excitement building for a new HALO, I’m saying low 90’s.

I liked Man of Medan, worth a play through.

Loved Dreamcast-Jet Set Radio, 2K sports, and Soulcaliber. My roommate had one at launch and it felt like a real leap from N64 and PS1.

No single player campaign-no thanks.

My roommate got OG 20 years ago and I remember playing HALO CE all night and into the next day with several friends. It was not easy going back to work on Monday.

The duke was comically big compared to other controllers when it came out, that isn’t a generational thing.

As much as I’d love the 2TB option and I spend heavy on tech, $400 is a big nope for me.

I’d be shocked if there is enough demand at that price to even be worth a production run for them.

Reviews really make it tempting to pick up for PS5 but think I’m gonna still wait for it potentially on gamepass in a year

Loved Enter The Matrix, had it on GameCube back in the day. Really wish I could buy on Series X now.

My trial keeps crashing, really wish 2K had gotten NFL sim license back in the day and EA had gotten MLB license.

Probably Forza and Halo tied for me but giving HALO the nod cuz so long since I’ve played as Master Chief.

Lots of winners in this, MLB probably the biggest, I saw a lot of people saying they never got into baseball and gave this game a chance because it was included in gamepass.

My roommate buddy got one launch day and I remember thinking how awesome Halo CE was and we played drinking games with multiplayer with last place doing a shot. I also remember thinking the Duke was gigantic.

When I moved to my own place in 03 I picked one up.

Played through all of HALO MCC again on my LG CX and as others have said it just feels better.

Destiny 2 Crucible also is great with 120 FPS.

I have to think Microsoft goes hard core advertising Series S/Gamepass to parents, its the best value in gaming. If I’m a parent on a budget it’s a clear winner.

I had played it on PS for years and don’t really notice a difference on Series X.

Gameplay is great but Road to The Show mode is Cyber Punk pull it off the PS store level broken. They tied it to another online mode Diamond Dynasty which nobody asked for and leveling up is completely nerfed without purchasing perks/equipment with stubs. Also you can’t complete missions because it is broken. SDS has said they will patch several issues with it.

Late 05 was good times, I had so much fun with the launch of 360.

I’d say NBA 2K is a pretty close comparison. I used to love that game as well.

It pains me to say it, this is the only game I take off work every year to play launch day and I was thrilled when I found out it was coming to Xbox and had two-way player this year.

Road To The Show has been tied to Diamond Dynasty which has turned Road to the Show into a hot mess. Progression is glacially slow compared to previous versions and you’re pretty much forced to spend money now on stubs for equipment/perks to level your player up in a reasonable amount of time.

They’ve even taken away your ability to throw the knuckleball in single player road to the show because they make you use the same character as Diamond Dynasty.

Road To The Show used to be a sandbox to build the exact player you wanted at the sliders you wanted, now it’s tied to Diamond Dynasty micro transactions and caps where San Diego Studios thinks you should have them. It has really regressed the last 5 years into something I don’t enjoy near as much.

You know these hamburgers are quite similar to the ones they have at Krusty Burger.

Love this game, I’d definitely buy it on Series X.

I didn’t think I’d ever use it when it launched and I’m happy I gave it a try in 2020. I have tried a lot of different games that previously I wouldn’t have spent money on, some have been clunkers I quit playing pretty quick but I’ve also found some gems.

Loved Man of Medan and that caused me to to buy Lost Hope and I’ll probably buy every game in the series when they come out.

Xbox has lacked any MLB sim for 8 years and the best MLB sim since MVP 05.

I think it makes sense to advertise heavily.

There is no Switch Pro or even a next Nintendo, all Nintendo games get released to Xbox and PC with Nintendo getting a partnership arrangement with the Xbox console. Nintendo games included with gamepass where Nintendo also gets a hefty cut.

Series S was always aimed at this as it’s been proven you don’t need a graphics superstar to sell Nintendo games, but those that want to play on X could.

Yup, I paid for early access even though it’s available normal launch day via gamepass.

What can I say, I hate between console years when the game is delayed and have the itch to play throughout spring training.

I did notice the preload on my X and S is the same 72 GB.

I want my collection ready to play and will pay a premium for it.

I have a couple of these, they work great to swap between different home consoles and to bring over to my friends houses.

So nice to see a strong Xbox presence at the start of this generation, night and day compared to last generation.

Can I reserve the GTA 5 upgrades that will appear in 2027 and 2034 yet?

I swore this was late April fools. I’m shocked Sony is doing this.

From a revenue perspective and getting Xbox gamers to try it, it makes sense but from a PR perspective not so sure.

I don’t need this, and have nowhere to really put it, but yeah I’ll buy it.

One of the best decisions in Xbox’s history for Microsoft was putting Phil in charge.

I will celebrate the day Jim Ryan no longer leads PlayStation, he is their version of Don Mattrick. They have been puking all over themselves recently and I think we are best served as gamers having strong Xbox and PlayStation ecosystems.

I mean I woulda preferred cheetah skin but this’ll do.

Yup, had they wanted to bring baseball to more people it would have been with MLB the show 14 after MLB 2K fell apart.

This has no impact on playing today but I always smile hearing the term Xbox live as it makes me think of it’s launch in 02 and how much fun it was first playing on it.

I’ve also noticed with Destiny 2 cross save I have issues moving from Series X to PS5 where I have to reboot but from PS5 to Series X it just plain works.

Sure hope it’s by November, of all the upcoming games from the ZeniMax deal this is the one I’m looking forward to the most.

I love it, Phil came to ball this generation and is absolutely throwing the gauntlet down with Zenimax and a seriously beefed up gamepass.

My already significant gamepass backlog is getting added to and rearranged. Best deal in gaming.

Already preordered.

Very much enjoyed Man of Medan via gamepass and I bought this one because of it, hope to play through it in the next couple weeks.

An example of gamepass bringing in revenue, I’ll likely buy the whole series from here on out.

I don’t see any motivation for Sony to put out an inferior product on Xbox. It would raise the ire of MLB and I would think Sony would want to create a great experience for Xbox players as it may make some of them consider a PS in the future as a second console.

MLB forced the issue but now that it’s done it’s a smart play for Sony to embrace it and collect the $$$ from it being successful on Xbox.

I only got a PS5 for exclusives and The Show was by far my favorite but Sony did have others in previous generations like Uncharted, Infamous and Ghosts of Tsushima that I really like.

I’ve had both going back to their original systems. The fanboy crap grows tiresome.

21 is the last version I bought at release, going forward I will wait till it’s included with EA Access/Gamepass.

It’s full, plan on using my internal to keep the latest sports titles and games like Destiny, Gears, Forza and Halo that I always want available.

I got the Seagate expansion to cycle in/out all other current gen games and a 2TB SSD external for previous gen games.

OG and Halo on the duke.

No desire to play Diamond Dynasty, for me this game is all about RTTS.
