Bandai Namco has released a Friend's Pass for The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope, allowing players to download a trial version of the game and join their buddy who owns the full retail release.
The offer is only available for one month from initial release, and can only be used once. Players who own the game are able to allow a single friend to join them on the adventure, simply by inviting them to a multiplayer shared story mode playthrough. Once the Friend’s Pass is used, it can’t be gifted again, so make your choice wisely.
In addition to the Friend’s Pass, the game has also added the Curator’s Cut, which incorporates new scenes into the game, giving more incentive for a replay. Little Hope is known for offering multiple paths, and the new scenes add even more opportunities to learn more about the world.
The next instalment in the franchise is expected to release later this year, under the name House of Ashes. Little is known about the next project outside of a teaser trailer, but we'll hopefully learn more in the near future.

I guess that explains the update.
I really enjoyed the game (it was actually scary) - plus I got the "best" ending on the first playthrough. I may go back and try for a bad ending just for kicks.
Very much enjoyed Man of Medan via gamepass and I bought this one because of it, hope to play through it in the next couple weeks.
An example of gamepass bringing in revenue, I’ll likely buy the whole series from here on out.
