We've seen various hype packages for the upcoming release of MLB The Show 21 on Xbox in recent weeks, but now courtesy of IGN, we've finally been able to lay eyes on around 10 minutes of raw Xbox Series X gameplay.
The video above features an interview with Sony San Diego gameplay designer Ramone Russell, who highlights a bunch of the new features coming to the game this year including a Stadium Creator, along with giving his thoughts on developing for Xbox consoles in addition to PlayStation, calling it a challenge, but "another labour of love."
Russell also spoke exclusively to our sister site Push Square earlier today, and explained that the move to Xbox was the result of "wanting to bring baseball to more people," describing Xbox as a "great partner" during the process.
What do you make of the gameplay footage? Let us know your thoughts down in the comments.

Let's be honest it wasn't cause they wanted to bring it to Xbox it was because they had to because of the MLB.
@Tasuki
Yup, had they wanted to bring baseball to more people it would have been with MLB the show 14 after MLB 2K fell apart.
@Tasuki glad you typed it if sony had their way it would ps exclusive still but thankfully mlb told them want exclusive license then bring it to more systems….what would be funny is if it played better on the xbox
