@Krzzystuff no they didnt and not only that i lost my player the last time it crashed...save was currupted or some bs...

@OliverOwen i bought the game played it for 30 hours stopped and im waiting on the upgrade(And bugs to be squashed) to finish the game.

@Shigurui i was 11 when this came out me and my friends spent a whole weekend infront of the pc playing this game, then we had a power outage before we could beat it and never went back for some reason.....

@GamingFan4Lyfor because its the only licensed NFL game...if 2k was back madden would die a fairly quick death.

i love it when you can get into the servers which are almost always full, not because that many are playing it but because they have had limited server space. for a while they couldnt have more then 60k players on at a time....

@antstephenson PGR was and is my fav racing game ever...it was enough sim to fun but enough arcade to be forgiving....all around just a fun game....

@Woodinghal i dont know i find playstation gamers pretty toxic in crossplat games like Apex not always but more times then not they are the ones bitching you died and calling you trash even though you had more kills and dmg then them...

mouse and keyboard by far superior for FPS but the setup for my tv is just horrible for it so controller it is.

@The_New_Butler all the things you mentioned are things you can deal with longer load times and what notand i agree the cpu is weaker but on a 4k tv its resolution looks sharper, and if both are gonna play at 60fps or 30fps as the case may be other then load times i see no point in the series S if your on a 4k tv. to me its a waste of 300$ id rather spend the 200$ extra get the extra storage space and have 4k or spend 100$ less and get the One X used and have 4k and the slower load times...i have both series X and One X as my second system.

my point was specific to 4k tvs if you have one i think the Series S is a waste of your money...if you got 1080p Series X is a waste unless you plan on upgrading soon to a 4k screen...this is my opinion how i feel and how i recommend to friends and family...really if you can save and get the Series X and be done with it.. i feel it has a niche market which is why i can walk into my walmart right now and walk out with a series S they arent really hard to find here in Jersey.

i tried it, its great if you watch tv at night, but for gaming F that i did set it up for 1am-7am as thats when i normally turn discovery+ on and fall asleep to How its Made but when i was playing apex it made the game nearrly impossible to play as it was hard to see people with the blue filter on.... and i can dim my screen with a remote so that feature is pointless for me.

with all that said at 1am i did find it was easier to watch the tv with it on and i fell asleep faster acording to my Halo(amazon Halo)

@SplooshDmg i told my wife i want one her exact remark was "can i not step away from halo long enough to take a *****"....meaning i dont leave the house so i have no need for a portable system like that lol....

@RadioHedgeFund yes! with gamepass im constantly playing at least 4 games from gamepass... right now MLB the Show, Hellblade now that the series X/s upgrade came out, Flight Sim, and Mechwarrior 5... on top of that i have Apex Legends(on external drive right now) Madden, NBA 2K21, and Fifa 21 the sports games are all series X/S games if i had a series S i would need a expansion card just for those, not to mention i play Mortal Kombat 11 Halo MCC and Dirt 5 from time to time... yes i could swap from drive to drive but thats a 10-15 mins each time for each game as my externals are only 7200rpms, or i could download my games again which is faster but i have data caps(F comcast) so point is 512gb is not enough neither was 1tb for me i got the expansion card(free due to walmart f'ing up and forgeting to ring it up but i was gonna pay for it) if i had to i could make it work but why bother...my real feeling on the Series S is it was like it was the original Series X design but then MS got a peak at sonys specs and upped the anti to the Series X but then didnt want to lose all that money on RR&D on the Series S so thats how we got where we are(this is all my weed soaked brains idea)

@The_New_Butler i agrree but if your playing on a 4k tv that doesnt do 120hz the One X is better choice as it can do 4k , the quick load times are nice but 512gb on the Series S is nothing if you load up COD, Flight Sim, your alrready at 50% capacity and no disc drive F that, used games are cheap. all these reasons are why i believe MS stopped making the One X a year before the Series X/S came out. i had a Series S forr a 4k tv my one X looked better and being it was for a second system i ended up reselling the series S in less then a week... Series X or bust imo... that and a bunch of 3rd party developers have made comments that the Series S is holding back this gen as they make the games for the lowest common denominator....point is the Series S is for people who dont own any xbox dont have a 4k tv or plan on buying one and plan on buying a expansion card down the line. or people who use PC monitors with 120hz 1440p resolutions.

@Snake_V5 simple fact is if gamepass was on ps5 i wouldnt have bought a series X and sold the ps5 for crazy sums to coverr my series x purchase... point is i have xbox cause of gamepass...i have not bought a game made by MS in yearrs and i have bought add ons for them though... like forza horizon4 i bought the vip pass and pretty much every car pack because i didnt have to pay 60 for the game...same goes for MLB the Show i have spent about 100$ on stubs cause i didnt have to buy the game...if gamepass was on ps5 id own that and no xbox right now. but its not so i dont and probable wont for a few years till a redesign comes i hate the ps5 aesthetics

@Halucigens the series S is weaker then the One X in resolution so i doubt 4k for anything other then certain indies...AAA games id be shocked if anyone ever got the S up to 4k... meanwhile the one x is 4k just doesnt load as fast or have the abiltity for ray tracing.

i was going to buy a ps5 for launch cause of the Show and get a series X later on... but when i heard The Show was coming to Xbox i decided to wait for a redesign of the ps5 as i think the think it is hidious and it wouldnt fit in my entertainment system

@Doctorwhoooourgh i was the same had a og xbox one but it was garbage conpared to my fathers ps4 so i got a ps4 when i traded that day one edition in then i upgrades to ps4 pro when that came out, but about a year before the series x came out i got a One X cheap at bestbuy when they screwed up the price 249.99 i now have a series x and the one x is my wifes...Gamepass is what sold me on the xbox and got me to ditch my ps4 all together for now...someday ill grab another 4pro if for no other reason to get my games i got digital.

@antstephenson will never happen Ferrari are *****, i remember a few years back a developer i think it was the guys that made project gotham said that Ferrari was the hardest company to work with. and they didnt like to do lifetime licenses i think this was when that game was removed from the store due to licenses then too.

Crimson Skies was my jam back in the day hell i rememberr my whole family brringing their xboxs to my house for thanksgiving and we had a huge lan party

it was usefull what i was able to watch tv while playing a game in the beginning when they did away with that feature i stopped using it...honestly i wish theyd bring that back so i can do that on my one X.

@LocalPenguin the problem on rainbos 6 is they have a newcomers lobby thats where all that has happened they do it to greif new players it seems... its why the player base barely grew longterm after the game hit gamepass, that first month lots of new players but quickly in my experience they were turned off to the community. Again they are doing yhis in the newcomers area

playstation can have it, ill just wait to get it free on gamepass vs paying for it, besides i have a huge backlog of games at the moment so much so that it almost paralyzes me from playing anything as i dont know what to play sometimes.

@HotGoomba money, MK isnt a crazy license title with other companies and they can get good money fo them... and the othe studio makes lego games....sell em both so you can put your money and efforts into games that sell better and arre considered better all in all. Sometimes they do this to get feelers, meaning they will leak its up for sale to see what people are offering and if they get that special number they will bite if not they sit on it and pretend they never leaked anything.

@LocalPenguin tell that to Rainbox 6 siege, it has the WORST and most toxic community...small community very few good apples there...have a bad round booted from match by vote. enter match get booted by vote for no reason just cause.. the game is not fun to play at all unless you have a full party of friends.

@FatalBubbles its the upload thats important...once your over 100mbs on the download its then the upload that causes the lag or input lag...as in the USA most ISPs are lopsided...example i have gigabit from comcast thats 1gb down but i only have 40mbs upload speed(advertised upload)...one day these isps will realize the upload is as important and start increasing those speeds.

@Dezzy70 read the story, straight up says 1080p and 60fps.

correct headline here should read Housemarque joins playstation studios...by saying former xbox developer made me think a first or second party was bought by sony from MS, not a studio who has one game that was a hit that came out nearly a decade ago(resogun).

@S1ayeR74 in japan I’m pretty sure the sales figures come straight from stores and it’s MS saying they are growing and if those numbers are correct which from all I can see the japan numbers seem to be then I’d argue against it growing as far as systems go but Ms could be counting gamepass as the xbox brand growing… also store shelves mean nothing…. I’m in the USA and if tesco(never heard of it) runs like bestbuy or GameStop you can be out of something cause your max 8nventory level is lower then the other… ie. bestbuy I worked at only carried 3 Xbox 1S and 2 xbox 1x but carried 5 ps4s and 5 ps4 pros in stock… just cause xbox was out didn’t mean it was a better seller… just meant we ran out that week also the max inventory numbers are more telling as you keep more on hand of the thing that sells well…

@S1ayeR74 i typed uk mean EU sorry for that mistake and in that case and the UK case your wrong just flat blatantly wrong….in the EU the ps4 has sold to date 48+ millio units. Xbox one 12+ million um that’s no where even in the same ball field….japan is laughable 100k+ units to ps4s 9+million and then the entire rest of the world minus USA its the same ps4 20+ million to the xbox1 5+ million

I dont have the UK numbers and for all i know UK is where most of the European sales come from if that’s the case UK is the outlier like the USA

Like i said the only place the xbox is even remotely competing but still is outsold is the USA. Where its ps4 38+million the the xbox1s 32+million..

This is coming from a person who loves my series x and my one x and owns only a ps3 on the PlayStation side…facts matter and those are the facts on why developers like the PlayStation brand better…outside of the USA it slaughters the xbox in sales….

As for the Series x/s in japan yes it has gained traction but .05 million is still a lot less then the ps5s .76 million sold there so still slaughtered in sales but at least they are showing some fight there.. and that link seems more like MS press release or spin after seeing the numbers i mean they have barely sold any from what i can tell

@K1LLEGAL the reason they like PlayStation is cause outside of the USA the xbox really doesnt sell…in Japan its nearly non existent like for real selling less the 100 units a week.. example xbox one has only sold about 100,000 units total, the UK it sells but at about half as many as the PlayStation does…now the Series x/s is selling better in both of those places but history shows that those numbers might not hold up.

@Nightcrawler71 ill agree on ps5 but i have personally been able to find with no real issue series x and S in my area personally have nabbed 5 series x 2 for me and the other 3 were for family who wanted em. but im also a little lucky i live in jersey and I’m dead smack in the middle between philly and NYC so finding one hasn’t been a issue…

Did anyone else read the comments and go yup he never played The Last of Us or the second one…you can tell by how they talk about the game as if its a movie…same goes for the main article what makes TLoU fun is its story and the gameplay, Yes they nailed the story i mean totally nailed it but they also nailed the gameplay… The environments tell the story as much as the characters…This game is the exception thought as they nailed everything on it… there are games a lot of them that think the story is the only thing that matters or the gameplay is the only thing that matters and Its why i think so many have a negative opinion on this game as they never played it and are judging it by their other experiences….The Last of Us and the TLoU2 are the only two games i have ever beaten in one straight sitting ended up taking days off from work to finish them.

Short answer YES MS needs to do something different as the XBOX is looked at as a “dude bro” machine aka shooters, sports and driving games.. its needs story driven games(NOT ALOT) AND they need to be good.

@themightyant i did and on a 1gbs connection it runs choppy on a iPad Pro with a xbox elite controller…. Works great for some reason with a ps4 controller though? Not sure why that is…I’m thinking something with the wireless antenna or something.

@EpicGamernator that’s drift…drift is when you move when not touching the thumb sticks….or if the sticks don’t recenter after using them which. Is what mine do.

I have three elite twos all three have drift, 2 were replaced and those replaced under warranty now have drift and are in the process of being replaced again..Honestly for a 180$ controller you shouldn’t have this issue…I’d also say i have random disconnects and a coursing of mine has drift in his elite…so for the record that’s 6 elite 2 controllers all with drift and two of those 6 are replacements for drift that now have drift one month after replacement!!!!

And by the time it comes out it will be too little too late scenario I think!

@Medic_Alert i have noticed that some games that are Series X/S will play without being on the internal drive it just reverts to the one X version on my series X,,,it will have that left right arrow symbol on it telling you to transfer to the internal drive, but it will still play just fine just not the series version…and i did the same thing got a Series S for the living room with the 1080p tv and a series X in the gaming room with the OLED

@Medic_Alert if both systems are the same aka series S or both series x the card will hotswap no issue, but as you said if ones is a S and the othe is a X there are differnent versions(or at least different textures as the file size for S games is slightly less from what i have seen on my systems…

I got mine for free as walmart never rang it up but put it in the bag when i bought a bunch of games and a elite controller…guess they never noticed they didnt scan it…

@TheFrenchiestFry i agree its not that huge but its huge for me as ps4 the game i played the most was The Show….so now my ps5 has little to no reason to be turned on for a while….seriously since i beat Spider-Man the ps5 has not been turned on…games play better on xbox IMO especially older games with the auto hdr look better.

@Medic_Alert only game not worth waiting for is NBA2k as by time it hits gamepass playing online is nearly impossible unless you buy VC to catch up to the other 95+ rated players playing against each other….if all you wanna do is play the cpu then yea wait…

After looking on the web everyone is reporting this i just cancelled my preorder….anyone who says gamepass is a waste doesnt like good games…this is the 5th game in the last year that i didnt have to buy thanks to gamepass.

I can’t tell if this is true makes me wanna cancel my preorder as its pointless to buy a game ill get for free especially at 70$

If avengers comes ill be pissed cause i just bought the game…..Gamepass makes me not wanna buy games from Square right now as they seem to eventually come to gamepass.

@VenomousAlbino outside of the US and UK the vita actually sold decently like in Asia. Vita was a damn good piece of hardware with no backing from sony(ultimately one of its downfalls, is sony didnt use the product correctly or promote it or use non proprietary cards…idk why sony just doesnt do what MS has done offer backwards compat and allow people to buy and play ps3 games on their ps5 there are some damn good ps3 games out there…o wait the ps5 doesnt do auto HDR and doesnt make older games look better like the xbox does so that may be a reason not to. I have both ps5 and series x and my ps5 is a pain in the ass to use right now with a lot of its artificial limitations so its straight up collecting dust.

@nicols did same cant get into a game every time I get to the menu it freezes and crashes…i have the x/s version too, its like if your tv can support everything the system can do activision games don’t work till they are patched

@StylesT i don’t know those games have never crashed on my series x, coaster planet i have about 20l hours into it and no crashes yet and hitman 3 I have 40+ hours and had only one crash on launch week. Literally the only games that have crashed(meaning more then a one off) is activision games. As for immortals I just started that game about 5 hours in and so far so far so good it’s a Zelda rip-off, not as fun as breath of the wild but still solid.
