by the way this is why games that have single player online suck and why i never buy any game with a persistent online anything....if thats not the case as i didnt play the campaign then why would the single player be locked out when the servers are shut off..

id offer that in this game with its slightly slower paced then most 3rd person shooter quality mode is where its at... the 60fps is not as important as the extra graphics as they provide even more ambiance.... also this is such a weird take on this game... i too didnt play this in 2008 but the walking backwards to get space thing is half the point.... if you were in real life you woldnt just keep running forward while trying to fight youd be backing up getting the room so these things dont touch you...hell me id probably run and hide in a corner crying in real life but thats why i like games...

considering i own almost all of those games from previous sales, theres no need to sub for this... litterally faster to list the games i dont own from them no joke i own them all except 3 scott pilgrim(which i may own on the ps4) riders republic(no interest at all) ghost recon(not my cup of tea) every other game i have bought digitally during their huge sales they have had in the past years.
@Pusher2021 switch uses Nvidia not intel intel has neverr had console parts as far as i can remeber switch is using a modified Nvidia chip thats old as hell, i mean it was old when the switch came out....it uses a Nvida Tegra 1 custom chip... when it came out the Tegra 2 was already out and was way more powerful...and now they are up to what the Tegra K2 or is it x2 idk so many variants now.. point is its a nvidia part thats from 2008 and was for the switch to make it do that stuff better.
i will give them credit on one thing, unlike EA with Anthem, they did go and fix most of the issues i mean i still once in a while hit a invisible wall in the middle of the desert, or sometimes sit on the hood of my car while i drive but i mean thats minor compared to how this game launched, and they are far and few between now.
here is the controller we would all buy ANY THAT SOLVES STICK DRIFT!!!! id pay 300$ for a damn controler that wont form stick drift, im on controller 13 fo the eltite series 2 they drift after about 60 days it starts to show, i just keep warrantying them and getting another from ms, i currrently on a 3 elite series 2 rotation , use one till it breaks send it out move on to next one when i get the broken one back it goes to the back of the queue, and after a while ms gives up and just sends you a brand new controller....which will break again in 60 days so it stays in the box till i need it... No lie MS elite series 2 controllers have such bad stick drift, i have not had a elite for more then 83 days now....like i said on elite series 2 controller 13, when they stop warrantying them ill move on to my scuff controller i bought this christmass.
@BAMozzy non of what you mention is needed, its not exactly hard to remember first dot is FPS second is for driving and 3rd is normal setup....if you cant remeber 3 things you got bigger issues... also as for battery its not exactly slow to hit the xbox button look top left and tap it again... volume is only usefull for those who havent gone and gotten a good headeset like a astro a50 or pretty much any wireless headset, point is for most its all gimmick and repeat if you cant remember 1 is fps 2 is driving and 3 is whatever else then there are huge memory issues.... and then you have to be wired to your xbox... wired only controllers should have gone the way of the dodo for consoles....i get its wireless on pc but for xbox seems its not and that is just dumb for a expensive controller

@Widey85 the control and look of MGS1 is dated they would have to remake the game for todays gamers....kinda like RE1 if they fully remade that it would have been great but they kept same silly camera angles, same thing on MGS1 but worse....ive played it over the holdiays a tad with some family and when i say a little i mean a litte we moved on to MGS2...

@Kaloudz this has really nothing to do with cod on ps at this point, we need to look at this as a politics game, one side says something to force the otherside to make a decision, if they(sony) sign onto this thent he deal go through and in 10 yearrs MS can pull CoD from sony(which is what i believe they fear the most that and MS stopping yearly installments) or turn it down and look petty and the deal goes through as the one thats complaining is now doing what they are compllaining about.... essentially MS just put Sony and the FTC lawsuit in a box.....MS can say look see we want it on other systems but they wont sign for it just to block the sale, or they can say see we signed on the line and the game is now guaranteed to be on other system including the one that was complaining the most...

@BBB i peronsally prefer 60fps but if the game is slow paced enough 30fps does still work but it has to be ROCK SOLID 30 no dips at all, cause dips on 30 are way way way more noticeable then 60, but if its even moderately paced 60fps is needed.... if not a 120 mode... fo me i have found a couple of games i keep on graphics mode but they are slower paced games or sport games like the new PGA game...
@Cyberpsycho i have no issue with whats happening at xbox studios as long as the games are good, they could easily go the Ninty route, take your time only release good games....thats Nintendos strategy, what MS has to do is get all their studios on the same page so games come out more consistently...but that takes lots of time and more time with more studios to coordinate when things will come ot.
@Rmg0731 i have had no iissues using a controller on my fire 10 hd tablet to play halo... which even though i own a series X is the only place i play halo.. my pont is you dont have to water down a game these days to play it on a phone with streaming just a controller....and there are a bunch of games that dont even need a controller just use the touch screen controls...

@LoquaciousB if i was MS i would take the gloves off NOW, start throwing money at other third party studios for exclusives, if the deal falls through id tell activision hers that 60bn now how long is COD exclusive to xbox? if you throw that kind of money you can get pretty muich any franchise exclusive, id go as far as trying to nab GTA6 as a exclusive in some matter, scorched earth would be my path if i loss the deal.....No lie, id drop the price of the xbox by 100$ on each system, make xbox live free, gamepass ultimate a tad cheaper, id lose money hand over fist in the xbox divison just to drive sony out... they dont have the cash that MS has to deal with something like that....hell i still think MS should drop the price of the systems by 100$ or include a year of gamepass or something, not sure why these companies dont try and knock one another out of the game... sony is the most vulnerable if they playstation brand started to fail sony as a company would be in trouble.....its pretty much their only profitable business anymore....
@Would_you_kindly if that game had any content the basis of the game was fun, the loot was F'd at launch i remember a many party where we sang purple rain each boss kill... and the lack of content killed the game... but they had a fun flying fighting system till you got bored of doing the same thing over and over and over with the only reward gear.....
@Titntin he has been very consistent in saying it will remain on PS for the foreseeable future but sony wants in writing it seems a forever contract which shouldnt and will never happen,

@Fiendish-Beaver you can make a decent assumption that if MS is losing 150-200 per console that Sony was losing about as much... the two systems are nearly identical as far as components go, not sure if the double mobo in the series x would cost more or not though....but still i doubt they were losing less then 100 before their price increase
@Dezzy70 this is how consoles have always been sold... they make the money up on licensing fees and subscriptions...its normally not until the redisign or the smaller newer version of the chips come out that the systems start to break even at sale but the pandemic might have totally fubar'd the "normal" way things are done
@F1at8mot0 i cant bounce out,but then again i only paid 135$ for 25 months of gamepass... let your sub expire do not autorenew anything once live and gamepass expire buy a year sub of live or 2 and then activate them, then buy one month of gamepass and all 2 years will upgraded to gamepass ultimate... still worked as of august.........but because i saved all that money i cant bounce out even though i havent played a gamepass title in 2 months......mostly cause the game out dont grab my attention and my time has been limited so i play the games i own and are invested in....but i guess its worth it as i would need live anyhow to play those games online......

@UltimateOtaku91 its about the back catalog not the future games... if they get Activision they get access to i think its close to 30ips, and nearly 200 back catalog games....remember its not just CoD its Warcraft, Candy Crush, Tony Hawk, Diablo, Overwatch, Spyro, Hearthstone, Guitar Hero, Crash Bandicoot, and StarCraf just to name a few of the big ones.... thats what MS is really after, its the IPs and the older games they can throw on gamepass as soon as the deal closes

@Kaloudz this has really nothing to do with cod on ps at this point, we need to look at this as a politics game, one side says something to force the otherside to make a decision, if they(sony) sign onto this thent he deal go through and in 10 yearrs MS can pull CoD from sony(which is what i believe they fear the most that and MS stopping yearly installments) or turn it down and look petty and the deal goes through as the one thats complaining is now doing what they are compllaining about.... essentially MS just put Sony and the FTC lawsuit in a box.....MS can say look see we want it on other systems but they wont sign for it just to block the sale, or they can say see we signed on the line and the game is now guaranteed to be on other system including the one that was complaining the most...
this move just put SONY in a box and the FTC lawsuit looks weaker due to this move, brilliant sony either looks bad by turning it down or by signing they kill the FTC lawsuit either way i think that lawsuit will be dead in the water as what they are saying is now essentially null and void....

@KilloWertz they dont have to do anything, they could break the contract and then pay sony the fine for breaking contract.... honestly i probably would have, wasnt a good look for the xbox when the damn system has had what 2 games all year, and your making 2 games for the competitions system that your own system wouldnt have for a year.... i would have just said F that cancel the PS exclusivity at the bare minimum and pesonally i wouldnt support my competitions platform at all... i mean look at it from the consumers position, why would tyou buy a xbox if all the games will be on the competitors but none of theirs will be on your system? seems to me this is a major reason why the ps5 is outselling the xbox....outside of gamepass what does the xbox have that the ps5 doesnt? and MS keeps releasing games they make on sonys system why should one keep a xbox? point is MS buys a company they should do what they want with their company they own!!!! these regulators i believe are bored and needed something to do.

@bjs5667 if i was MS and this deal didnt go through, id cripple sony, wouldnt be hard when you have 10x the cash on hand, and they wouldnt even have to go after games, you call amd up and say hey i want exclusive rights to your tech for the next gen, and dump a ***** ton of money on them, that would F over sony on their next system, i would go after all the big names for memory as well... id cut the price of my system, and games maybe even ditch live gold and make it free to play online...id go scorched earth and lose money to put them out...they should go after sony on every front.... and id go one step further, if i won this ftc case id take COD and not put it on sony system since they wouldnt sign the 10 year deal that nintendo and steam both did just to try and stop this purchase all together....

@Green-Bandit i own both too my point was ms has enough money on hand to technically buy sony... what i was trying to say is if MS really wanted to they could outspend sony and barely feel it....i dont see them doing it... if im being honest out of the big 3 MS is the most likely to be the one to leave console(if that were to happen and i dont see it happening) they make most of their money elsewhere, sony on the otherhand and nintendo to even more extent are reliant on video games sales to keep them profitable... personally i love when the console makers have a console war, pushes them all to do things better, but sucks when they think it means gate keeping other systems is the way...
and i wasnt trying to say sony is broke, just saying is MS wanted to actually fight a console war theoretically they could dump money and block sony from getting games or other addons, they wont they seem intent on trying to play nice for now.

@Green-Bandit Sony doesnt have the money... they are still only about a decade out from almost going under.....right now sony as of the end of oct has 11bn cash on hand which is down 33% from last year compare that to MS who has a whopping 104bn cash on hand...nearly 10x times more cash on hand to spend... not to mention... my point is MS can literally spend sony into the ground, and honestly probably nintendo... but nintendo survives on their first party titles, sony does good on their first party but honestly Playstation could never make it without 3rd party support.....

@BBB i peronsally prefer 60fps but if the game is slow paced enough 30fps does still work but it has to be ROCK SOLID 30 no dips at all, cause dips on 30 are way way way more noticeable then 60, but if its even moderately paced 60fps is needed.... if not a 120 mode... fo me i have found a couple of games i keep on graphics mode but they are slower paced games or sport games like the new PGA game...

@Cyberpsycho i have no issue with whats happening at xbox studios as long as the games are good, they could easily go the Ninty route, take your time only release good games....thats Nintendos strategy, what MS has to do is get all their studios on the same page so games come out more consistently...but that takes lots of time and more time with more studios to coordinate when things will come ot.

@Fiendish-Beaver you can make a decent assumption that if MS is losing 150-200 per console that Sony was losing about as much... the two systems are nearly identical as far as components go, not sure if the double mobo in the series x would cost more or not though....but still i doubt they were losing less then 100 before their price increase

@Dezzy70 this is how consoles have always been sold... they make the money up on licensing fees and subscriptions...its normally not until the redisign or the smaller newer version of the chips come out that the systems start to break even at sale but the pandemic might have totally fubar'd the "normal" way things are done

@F1at8mot0 i cant bounce out,but then again i only paid 135$ for 25 months of gamepass... let your sub expire do not autorenew anything once live and gamepass expire buy a year sub of live or 2 and then activate them, then buy one month of gamepass and all 2 years will upgraded to gamepass ultimate... still worked as of august.........but because i saved all that money i cant bounce out even though i havent played a gamepass title in 2 months......mostly cause the game out dont grab my attention and my time has been limited so i play the games i own and are invested in....but i guess its worth it as i would need live anyhow to play those games online......

@Dezzy70 sony has all rights to advertising CoD that includes bundles if my memory serves, keep in mind bundles are a advertising thing really... does the UK really have that many series X? for the past month we cant find one(mine broke but it was my dogs fault and mine i guess, i was using my elites series 2 controller on usb cord and the dog ran through and ripped the cord out of ssystem but broke my usb ports none on back work now) i had to resort to getting a PS5 as every store i went to had em in stock, i can still play the series X and honestly i used the usb thing as a "reason" to get another system.... but seriously cant find a series x right now but ps5s are everywhere in the wild... as of 10-30 in south jersey just incase anyone was looking for a ps5
