@VisitingComet1 Right, I mainly wanted a Series X at first just for Cyber Punk. On the Series X it really didn't have the preformance bugs, or at least not nearly as many, as what people were showing on YouTube and stuff. I beat the game without falling through the map or anything haha. But looking forward to this, I just started redownloading it and it is showing the optimized for Series consoles!

@Microbius Your first ever DLC purchase? Are you like 12 years old? Microtransactions are one thing and completely different than DLC. If I ever am really into a game, I usually buy the DLC or expansions to keep that game going... And more often than not the best content will end up being in paid DLC's or expansions

The fact that if you played the game as a solo player with bots to fill up the rest of the team... the game would not count that progression or some weird *****. That, and the game was just not even close to as fun as I predicted it to be in the months before launch sadly.

This Rainbow 6 Extraction game has been a huge surprise hit or me, I expected dog ***** before I tried it myself. R6E is honestly way more fun and B4B

@mousieone LoL I am not a complete *****, ou aren't schooling anyone with that comment. The game was delayed 8 months roughly... I would imagine having a studio running in full production for 8 months would cost some money right? So mabe the studio themselves are the ones eating that cost, obviously Xbox is not funding the entire cost of production because they literally only have a 3 month exclusivity of Stalker 2.

From what I am getting from you, you think that Xbox is going to get the game exclusive for longer now that the game was pushed back? Maybe we are just miss understanding each other... But yeah their is no way the length of exclusivity changes for Stalker 2 now

Cross Fire X Campaign portion is still not downloadable for Game Pass as of 8:15 AM Paciic Standard Time.

The only reason I want to even try the Catalyst Campaign portion out is because it is made by Remedy and not SmileGate.

Smile Gates Multiplayer turd is literally exactly the same as the Beta version that came out like a year and a half ago... The Beta even had the same maps and guns.... So they could have potentially ironed out some bugs (which I did not have any when I played the beta) but it is hard to imagine that Smile Gate was fully satisfied with what they put out for the base version of this game.

Maybe 3 or 4 maps that are assigned to certain game modes. For how long they have had to develop this game just from when they announced it in one of the Xbox shows last year, the should have been able to make double that (I feel like I could have made 8 maps using the PS4 game Dreams by myself in that time)

That is crazy, I have Phil AKA P3 on my friends list and totally did see him playing R6 Extraction the past couple of days.

In other news, the game is not a complete POS like the marketing made it out to be IMO.
I actually really like the game a lot, it is a horde round based multiplayer/squads type game... except very much revolves around stealth and working as much as a team as possible. Very rewarding and tactical, not just another game where hordes or random enemies come and you mow them down until you are out of ammo. This game really did put a nice twist/spin to a what can be, very played out and boring game genre at this point.

The marketing just did the game no favors on the months coming up to launch.
I think most people, as did I, figured the game was being "dumped" into Game Pass because the game publisher did not have any faith in the game or thought the game quality was sub par.

If you have not tried it for some reason and have Game Pass give it a try right now, just know it does take a little bit to figure out the game play flow and exactly what to do/need to communicate to your team as you play. Solid 8 out of 10 in my book.

I could have sworn Tom Henderson openly said that they did start working on Bully 2 long time ago but since have fully canceled the project. Bummer I would have loved to see a sequel and just something different besides GTA and RDR from Rock Star

Sorry I know it has been a while since you made your comment reply towards me. All I really wanted to say is that even if the Stalker 2 devs did ask MS for more money (because they obviously did have to get more time to finish the game). You said something like, "more money would be more time being exclusive (on the Xbox)".
And that is not how the deal is or would work. Games can have a projected time to be complete, and sometimes the corporate side of game studios will stand by that date no matter if a game is done or not and just expect to push out a patch that will hopefully finish a game or polish out the bugs... which never seems to work out as smoothly as hoped for haha.
But the exclusivity time for Stalker 2 was agreed on when they first struck the deal with MS. It is only going to be a 3 month exclusive. That feels like way too short of a exclusivity window honestly. Sony fan boys will be mocking that they will just get the game in a couple of months and that it is not a Xbox game (which yes it is not an Xbox game, but the reason a platform invests in a game and makes a deal for exclusivity is to market a game and make it seem like it is exclusive. That is the hope anyways)
I wish Xbox would have gotten to make it like a 6 month exclusive for giving the studio such a big push back in release dae and more money. Looking forward to hearing the deloper drama when this game finally does make it out.

I do fully agree the PS5 era has been the start to Sony bumpin it up even another level of Bitch Mode by paying for 2 year exclusivity deals, when a standard year was what they have always done in the past. When I irst heard the Square Enix game Forespoken was going to be a 2 year exclusive I was shocked, that is way too long. Specially because year has always already felt like the game was a Sony exclusive at that point honestly.

Just one small heads up, Fall Guys, it's exclusivity deal is up. The developers just have had major problems getting the game ported over to the Xbox and Switch while at the same time making consistent new content for the game. The studio was not a huge studio with a bunch of devs, But they were acquired by Ten Cent or one of the big ass companies that I am sure pumped a lot of money into it. I swear, they have lagged so hard on getting that ***** onto Xbox and Switch, that by the time they do no one will even care.
Honestly it already feels that way. N I really thought the game was going to have a big resurgence when it made it to Xbox, but that was supposed to be last Summer... If it actually ever does make it over, the game better be free or at the very least on Game Pass and like $10 or $20 at the most.
I know the game has already lost a ton of it's major buzz on the Playstation. N I randomly turned on my PS4 the other day the game is not even free anymore, They were trying to charge me $20 for access to it, and I had been playing it for over a year or whenever it came out for PS+.
Xbox really should have been more on the ball and never let Fall Guys be an exclusive game from the rip honestly. That gane was so damn huge when it first came out.

@UltimateOtaku91 Thats funny AF, the major majority census was that this was the best E3 presetation Xbox has had since the Xbox 360 days, so like a decade. But I guess you expect full gameplay trailers for game that are getting their very first announcement trailers and wont be out for 2+ years for the most part. I would say you should go into every Xbox show with low expectations and if they surprise you then alright, if it is a crappy show, well then alright too. If you haven't figured it out yet, every single gaming show/presentation is just a media hype up that gets people to sit and watch a bunch of commercials in attempts to drum up some word of mouth to the user base.

@Banjo- Well no ***** they only get gold to play multiplayer games online haha, is that not why you have it? The free games with gold used to have a hitter every now and then like 5 years ago. But since Game Pass was created, the Game with Gold have gone to trash that would be 10 cents at Game Stop haha.

That should have been something they worked on straight away honestly... It's not like Rare started making Sea of Thieves as soon as they were acquired.

And yeah since Rare have openly stated they do no want to work on any of their old IP's right now, we all have to hope that at least one of the new studios MS acquired have a pitch for a new Rare IP revival.

Lastly, when I started watching this trailer I went from less than enthused to pretty damn hyped.. Because I thought the game was going to be exclusive to Xbox haha. I also did not know that Kao is an old IP, I have never heard of it at all, N I had a Dreamcast as well as all the other older systems. Not that I want Xbox to gatekeep games from studios that they do not own, But Phil has mentioned more than once that Xbox needs to start making more family based games... And that thought is starting to sound more and more hollow as the time and opportunities go by with no results. At the very least a 4K remaster of the Banjo games (not nuts n bolts though, that games is garbage lol) and possiby Conkers Bad Fur Day if the Banjo games sold.

That said, the trailer made the game look kinda fun, Ill download n play the demo. But unless this came to Game Pass I don't think this is the kind of game I would pay full price for.

I have an Oculus Quest 2 and have refunded a couple games on it, and have had no problem at all. As long as you haven't put in more than two hours of game play it is pretty much no problem to get your money back. I think all of the consoles need to implement something similar with easy to understand guidelines

LoL Skate Bird was so disappointing haha! I have been looking forward to mixing it up and playing this since last Summer. The delays have been a bummer for sure, But like someone else said in the comments, If it would have come out in February all of the other big name game releases would have buried this game and not give it a chance to get its fair dues.

I tried Danganrompa last night... that was the most boring and all around un-fun game I have played in quite a while.

Nobody Saves The World is really fun, I played the demo recently so I knew what to expect. Give that one a try for sure

@UltimateOtaku91 You are on a Xbox site... and it is pretty easy to remember fore me. Xbox had it's best show in about a decade pretty much. So I wouldn't say last years E3 was a complete failure.

Please come to Game Pass day one... Make up for the delays and complete lack of first party MS games for Xbox. That would be huge!

@mousieone I get what you are saying that the devs are not owned by MS... But I do have a feeling that they had to ask for more time, and most likely more money to finish the game up properly. We have all heard that Jeff Grub has said multiple times that MS has Billions set aside for Game Pass game acquisitions.

I am with a lot of people rooting for a dying light 2 to be added to GP day 1. That would for sure make up a lot to me knowing as of now their are no exclusives besides Tunic.

As for Red Fall... They only kinda even had mentioned a released date as, "Coming This Summer". I suggest to them if they are about to delay that game, to give another broad time frame for the new release window and not lock down a set date. That will help keep the pressure off the team and the expectations a tad bit lower for the players.

I think both aren't going to be big hitter exactly... But thats okay, still more games to help distract my ADD and just give a chance too, which I most certainly would not have without game pass.

I went to download West of Dead and the game was straight up free with gold... So the free weekend thing is kinda irrelevant to 98% of people that play Xbox enough to be coming to this site haha

Damn crazy to see how many of y'all haven't played these games... Especially Hitman 3. I got it on release day last year, this will definitely be another big game to add more value to Game Pass for sure.
Now that Stalker 2 is officially delayed, I really hope Xbox gets on the phone and gets Dying Light 2 to fill in for it. In the long run that would be even better for the player because Dying Light 2 is coming out before the original release date Stalker 2 had... And we will still get Stalker 2 this Holiday and it should be more polished.

It woulda been funny/cool if Todd Howard was wearing the Star Field watch in that last Star Field update. I bet this special edition is going to be around $299, you will get the watch, a steel book case, and a damn download for the game instead of a disk lol.

I absolutely can't stand that new trend of special editions coming with a steel book and then the game isnt even on a disk but just a download code.

I like how they include all of the DLC with their games on Ubisoft+. I was actually confused about 6 months ago when I heard about and looked up the service to find out it wasnt even available on any console yet, just PC. I wonder how long until Playstation gets it too.

Asacurrent Quest 2 owner I would love it if they did a partnership with Oculus anddeveloped a couple awesome games and also just made more 3rd party games available... If they had some sort of VR content available for Game Pass users... Boom! That would be a great way to bust into the scene with a user base happy to buy a Quest 2 asap!

@Krzzystuff I appreciate it, but I ain't new to Game Pass n know about the deal with EA. But as a former member of EA Play for years, I would not hold that 6 months to 9 month as any kind of real guide line. They put games into the "EA Vault" whenever they feel the games sales are dead pretty much. Sometimes it is a year, usually with Sports titles it is within a few weeks of the next years game dropping. But for the non sport titles EA can tend to take a bit longer before throwing them in the vault

Well good thing you can still play emulated games just of the Edge browser using a Java emulator. I never put my system into dev mode either, I'm part o the Alpha Skip Ahead ring in the Xbox Insiders program though

I randomly asked about if Mass Effect Legendary edition was still coming just last week on another articles comment section Saying something like "Is ME still coming to GP? It was heavily rumored just a couple weeks ago, but I haven't heard anything in a while.." . Well I guess that is that haha, STOKED! I almost bought this during the sale in the last week.

I read a couple comments that asked who actually has a tv that can support these features... And I got my Xbox Series X launch day, and remember feeling like I was missing out on half the features by not having a new legit tv. So a week later after ome research, I had a brand new LG that has been truly amazing. The tv's UI even is so much cooler and nicer than what I previously had. It almost functions like a Nintendo Wii would back in the day when using the tv remote on the menus... you point it like a joycon pretty much. N the features have actually even made a few games run in general better by taking the frame tearing away. A baller new TV can be around a grand, but just save up until you are ready

@JayJ Sorry for the late reply, didn't see that you responded. N yeah I live in a big city, San Diego, and have Verizon with 5G... I really don't have any problem with connection except for rare instances being at the bottom of a hill by a canyon or something random. Also, being a Switch owner, I really don't find myself playing handheld nearly as much as I ever thought I would before I had one. I guess I just prefer the TV experience, and when I am out n about I am usually driving or just do not have time for gaming until I am home. I just like the option of a high quality handheld. I would for sure buy an Xbox handheld even if I wouldn't end up using it too often in the end... It's having it on a long trip where something like that makes it all worth while.

Does anyone know if they are still bringing Mass Effect Legendary edition to Game Pass. I never saw it officially announced, but I remember hearing it quite a bit just a couple weeks ago

@NotoriousWhiz Honestly the beginning of The Witcher 3 is pretty damn hard to get passed and get fully into the game. The first "boss" The Griffin, can be a real ass whooper for new players. Once you beat that and just play a few more hours you will get into a real rhythm that is so damn fun. N as far as picking the right side quests... You will find out eventually that those job boards of side quests are never ending. So just do convenient ones until you are leveled up proper. You should get a good amount of money, XP and gear from the main missions pretty much.

I did beat the game and expansions but it has been about two years so I could be a bit mistaken on things but that is what I remember

@eduscxbox Fantastic point, Us fans are very entitled when it comes to insider info on anything related to Xbox. I do not think it has actually made the community any stronger in any way but rather just made things feel less special and created many more fan boys that think they know everything and act toxic as ***** because of it. If we had no clue what games were being worked on until the marketing actually started a couple months before release, I think that would be a much healthier environment for the entire gaming community.

But I am here on Pure Xbox pretty much daily along with nonstop watching YouTube videos on gaming... So I have no where to talk, I just can see how the people on the outside should be treated as people on the outside and not expect insider info as much as we do.

Your comment about Xbox getting a hot girl community manager that is vocal with the Xbox community, is actually a great idea. They need a real person instead of the fake Martha GamePass(I know thats not the name I just cant remember what it is at the moment) personality thing they use on Twitter to communicate Game Pass updates and stuff. A person that we can relate to would definitely be a better than a fake persona.

@UltimateOtaku91 Oh yeah did you not know that one of the main work duties of the CEO of the Xbox division of Microsoft is to give a personal message to every employee of Xbox. One of the main reasons why Xbox has not acquired any other companies this year after Bethesda is mainly because the addition of all of the new Bethesda employees and having to send them all each Birthday messages.

But Phil is starting to get used to his birthday wish work load so I would expect a new acquisition for Xbox and Phil's B Day messages in 2022 for sure.

@NEStalgia Haha why put so much negative energy out my man, You come off like you don't enjoy the games at all. I will agree that Fall Out 76 should have been delayed and was released in an unacceptable state. But I truly do feel like the fiasco with Cyber Punk has made an impression on the game industry. Hopefully making more of an emphasis on releasing a product that is not riddled with bugs... And yes CDPR getting of on that law suit only paying 1.8 Million is most definitely not going to help. I actaully have had this hunch that Starfield could have dropped in a very buggy state, a normal old Bethesda state of launch sadly. But took this year to polish, have a similar year to Halo in a way.

@OliverOwen What is kinda funny is before the game came out they would say that your MP player would cross over to the Campaign. I wonder if they will add in customization to armor in Campaign sooner or later. Or i you will get to play as your MP player down the road. I feel the customization is more likely, just to have more opportunity to sell *****.

Wow that is pretty interesting that this has been done already! I really didn't expect it honestly... Also makes me wonder if the game was crashing for the devs upon one of the players dying. I heard they are having trouble with the spawns, never heard anything about the game crashing... But I am guessing that is just because they are "hacking in.

That is really weird that on the latest Xbox stream, ID@Xbox I believe it was... And they had the lead game developer end the Shredders trailer by saying see you in Decemeber. They even had the dev guy talking doing an interview with the hosts so it should have been the most recent news, must have been an accident or something
