Damn there sure are a lot of you guys who are really pissed off that Xbox isnt going to be giving them free game pass ultimate anymore...
Kinda felt inevitable to me that it wouldnt last forever.
Should be happy it lasted as long as it did... Got GP Ultimate for free for like 4 years.

When I saw that they already have a mod that gets the Series S running the game at 120FPS...

I mean the Series X couldn't even do 60FPS when it launched.

So, seeing as we have Mandalorian mods, and Disney isn't tripping out.
That is huge in my opinion, and gives me hope on how crazy future mods might go.

After seeing Sonys roadmap and their State of Play... It is pretty clear why they decided to scramble and pay for some games to fill in for the nonexistent 1st party they have had for way too long.

The ponies tried to say that "Xbox was cutting back on getting games for Xbox Game Pass too"
Then we got a hour and a half showcase that was filled with awesome 1st and 3rd party games all coming to Game Pass.
Xbox is not living that 2nd class life anymore... They are going to continue to show more games in Aug at Gamescom.... PlayStation isn't and hasn't.

That is the thing... Xbox looks at engagement more than console sales.
PlayStation recently announced they were switching to engagement as their priority number to track going forward.
This isn't the only reason for that but a main reason...
These platforms are making a ton of money off of platform marketing. N when they go to make these deals they dont look at how many consoles have been sold. They look at how many people are playing on your platform. That includes the Xbox One and for PlayStation the PS4.

After the showcase they just put on... Dont be a Debby Downer dude. Xbox is looking better than ever, who really cares if other people are going to get the chance to play some old Xbox games.

LoL... Why PS4 n not PS5? This "next-Gen" is never going to start!

This game isn't even going to sell more than like 3.5 million... Even if they wasted 2 years, it is still 2 years of production they had to pay two studios. This game is going to end up costing them so much n the margin will be so slim, this will end up being the last 3D Prince of Persia game we will end up getting anytime soon

Bramble was a free game on Epic or Amazon Prime games just a few days ago... I think Amazon Prime.

Remember how Naughty Dog didnt want to be a studio entirely dedicated to running Factions, a live service game... and they said it would be impossible for them to actually make other future games while maintaining Factions at the same time.

Well yeah, Sea of Thieves is where Factions prayed and hoped to ever get to as far as engagement, hitting over 40 million before the PS launch. So I imagine Everwild is not something we are going to see as soon as we hoped seeing as it had to go through a full rework, while the team has been making regular game updates to SoT.

I had my PC read the article to me as I was multi-tasking and towards the end it said something about how they are keeping an eye on this game, n hoping it comes to Xbox, because it does something unique...
I must have missed what that was exactly. I heard and saw that they made the game with UE5. But I am hoping they have something that is truly unique... because with a name like GREY WARFARE... uhhh yeah that has something pretty glaring about it that absolutely does not feel unique LoL (obviously the games name make it sound as if it is a game mode or offshoot game to Call of Duty Modern Warfare

Been following this game for like a year and a half... Stoked it is coming to XGP! I would have bought it if it wasn't.

I do gotta say that the demo I got to play on Steam like 3 months or 4 months ago was actually hard as hell though.
I am assuming it was the intro to the game, and the first boss had me feeling like Wo Long all over again!
Even if you are making a "Souls Like" game, You don't have to make the first boss soul crushing hard! It completely made me over Wo Long instead of getting excited to work through it like say an Elden Ring.

Yeah Xbox put a few of its old games on PlayStation... And guess what? A MF Xbox One game is beating out the games Sony paid exclusivity for to 3rd party studios!! LoL!
No one thought that SoT would be out here getting the pony crowd this hyped, but when I saw it was beating out Rise of the Ronin, Dragons Dogma 2, and Steller Cheeks on the most pre ordered page! I see that as a giant win for Xbox, not for Ponies.

Xbox just sucked away sales and a ton of energy away from the only exclusives you have on the calendar this year with a live service game that is 6 years old!

PlayStation is in it deep right now. Being sued internationally for billions, canceling multiple games including the main game its fans have been looking forward to for years (Factions 2). Closing down multiple studios and firing developers from every studio, including Insomniac, the only studio who has actually been producing games this generation for them haha.
Xbox is not sitting on cloud 9, but compared to PlayStation...
Oh and lets not forget how PlayStation has been hacked like 3 times within a year, and has actually taken content out of its user bases library instead of signing new contracts with publishers.

I don't get why so few people are failing to understand that Xbox putting these 4 games on PlayStation n Nintendo is nothing to do with making more money for Xbox....

Putting these games on more platforms is clearly about having ammo against the FTC who Xbox is still currently fighting for this ABK acquisition on currently.

I mean, if this was really about putting more money in the bank account for Xbox... why the hell would they have chosen "Pentament".

I mean why do you think Ubisoft has the ABK Cloud gaming rights for the next ten years... This ABK acquisition is not the final acquisition for Xbox, so they have to do what they have to do to grease the palms of regulators around the world. I mean I am sure Xbox made more money off these four games than they would have, but the real reason behind why the execs at Xbox decided to pull the trigger on putting these games on Nintendo n PlayStation in order to get the MF FTC off there backs (Lina Khan will be gone once the new administration comes in, whoever that ends up being. She has been a complete failure as the leader of the FTC and the new leader will not act as irritational as she has)

@hbkay Damn you been Walter Whites testing dumbie a little too long for your own good my guy. LoL No way in hell is the PS+ kicking Game Pass ass by any means. I mean if you havent played any of the old PS games then I guess I could see people being into that. But when it comes to new games, game pass gives you so many games day one with a huge variety of genres as well. Ever since PS+ raised its price and gave the consumer zero more value for the higher price, they have been giving games like the Saints Row Reboot and other games of similar quality.
Maybe that is your definition of quality... But it sure is not mine.

If it's gonna be all digital (something I figured they would do since PS5 digital came out) then they should really add 2 ports for memory cards.

I have a 1TB memory card in my Series X, and I wish I went big n got a 2TB card but they are a bit too expensive still... I did seen another 1tb card on sale for cheap but there is no where for me to put it in my Series X...

So with this one being digital only, they really should have 2 ports for memory cards.

Hawked launched with like zero hype... I downloaded it but had never heard anything about it before, and I keep up on gaming news.
After playing it for a short amount of time... I don't think it will get me to keep coming back... but who knows, I'm gonna try n keep it in the rotation for a sec

I see a lot of comments saying something about Xbox games going to PlayStation after a year... I don't recall anyone ever mentioning any kind of concrete timeline.
They said something more along the lines of, "We might bring our games to other platforms after they have lived out their lives (sales) on the Xbox platform"
I would assume that would be at least a years worth of time, but from the looks at the first games gong over to Nintendo and PS, they are games older than a year.
Also 3 out of the 4 titles were made by very small teams... like 10-20 people for Pentament, Grounded, and Hi-Fi Rush.

What I did not see much of anyone saying in this comment section was how PlayStation literally the day before (Valentines Day) gave all of their Pony fans a big ole smooch and reminded them that they don't think that they are "enough" and are going to start bringing their games to PC sooner/more often, until eventually they go day and date with all titles.
Definitely not new news, but finally something Sony execs are admitting.
Also, you know it was somewhat amusing hearing the CEO of Sony say that they wont have any big first party games coming out for a full year!
No wonder Ponies are excited about getting some old Xbox One games.

Right, I didn't know ***** about that Go Mecha Ball until just now... But after that trailer I am for sure going to play it for a bit and give it a chance. The mechanics look pretty fun to me

I just did a beta test for Warner Bros for a Quidditch game (surprisingly really fun). So I really hope I get chosen to test this out too.
Kinda weird that it is being called an Alpha test when the full game is due out in a couple of months, and not a Beta test

The game ran fine on the Series X, but the aiming was obviously set up for PC all the way. Their was zero auto aim at all, so they are going to have to adjust their console aiming dramatically if they are going to actually make a foothole in the live service industry

@OldGamer999 Yo chill your old ass out buddy. Xbox will have a bundle for Holiday, a Series X with Star Field and the console wrap could very well be a extremely popular bundle. Why dont you wait till Black Friday before crying like you know exactly what Xbox is doing this holiday

All you guys saying that MS wont be able to buy anything because they "barely" got the regulators to approve the ABK deal... You have to think of it like this. They got that giant deal to go through, so the chances of a smaller deal, (let's face it, any deal they make will be a smaller deal than that) are actually a lot more likely now.
MS still have a smaller market share than Sony does, specially in the japanese market (Xbox had like 4 or 5 percent market in Japan).
While PlayStation stubbornly fought to make it a point that Nintendo was not a part of the "high quality gaming market". That has completely backfired on them. Now instead of splitting the Japan market with them, they have turned it to where they control over 90%.
Xbox has already told everyone that they are not done acquiring yet. I would take them on their word on that... and not assume that it has to be only small studios going forward.

I feel you, but with Xbox owning Blizzard... And the rumored game that Blizzard has had in production for close to 4 or 5 years (a survival game is the rumor) was heavily hinted at by Jez Cordon that Xbox fans should definitely watch the opening of Blizz Con this year.
Sounds like they are going to be showing this Blizzard game off during part of their 2 and a half hour intro presentation.

He also said that PlayStation fans would not be excited for this... that intrigues me.
