I just did a beta test for Warner Bros for a Quidditch game (surprisingly really fun). So I really hope I get chosen to test this out too. Kinda weird that it is being called an Alpha test when the full game is due out in a couple of months, and not a Beta test
The game ran fine on the Series X, but the aiming was obviously set up for PC all the way. Their was zero auto aim at all, so they are going to have to adjust their console aiming dramatically if they are going to actually make a foothole in the live service industry

All you guys saying that MS wont be able to buy anything because they "barely" got the regulators to approve the ABK deal... You have to think of it like this. They got that giant deal to go through, so the chances of a smaller deal, (let's face it, any deal they make will be a smaller deal than that) are actually a lot more likely now. MS still have a smaller market share than Sony does, specially in the japanese market (Xbox had like 4 or 5 percent market in Japan). While PlayStation stubbornly fought to make it a point that Nintendo was not a part of the "high quality gaming market". That has completely backfired on them. Now instead of splitting the Japan market with them, they have turned it to where they control over 90%. Xbox has already told everyone that they are not done acquiring yet. I would take them on their word on that... and not assume that it has to be only small studios going forward.

And the rumored game that Blizzard has had in production for close to 4 or 5 years (a survival game is the rumor) was heavily hinted at by Jez Cordon that Xbox fans should definitely watch the opening of Blizz Con this year. Sounds like they are going to be showing this Blizzard game off during part of their 2 and a half hour intro presentation.
He also said that PlayStation fans would not be excited for this... that intrigues me. Intrigues me enough to actually give 2 ***** about Blizz Con lol
I think they have a legit gameplay trailer with combat n stuff in it, but are holding it until they give a legit release date. Then when the game is roughly 1-2 months out, they will start breaking down the gameplay mechanics. They have legitimate plans about exactly how they are going to market a game n what bullet points to include when. By the way Ninja Theory has been consistently putting these dev diaries, I'm sure they will have some excellent marketing the closer the release date actually is.
@InterceptorAlpha I feel you, the examples of IP licenced games that sucked ass have been plentiful. BUTTTT Robocop though...!!! The demo was so much fun and was a love letter to the Robocop movies I swear! If you see Robocop down the line for cheap, for sure grab it. And all the websites sold out instantly or crashed, so I did it the old fashioned way haha. My Game Stop only had 4 Series X''s too. So meand the other three guys became fast friends that night and one of them I still play games with till this day haha. And his wife brought us breakfast burritos in the morning before they openeed!

I still cant believe 343 did not remake popular old maps from the original trilogy of Halo when they were getting hammered for the lack of content. If only they woulda done a Blood Gulch remake! Ubisoft+ includes all of their games, even day one games and DLC. So there isn't a ton of games dropping all the time, but at least they give you the new gamers as soon as they are out... still not worth the subscription to me, but I have beat most of their games and they are usually single player games

Seeing as that is the only way you can stream games through Xbox is by subscribing to Game Pass Ultimate, I have to assume that is what you meant when you said you weren't interested in paying full price to rent or stream a game.
But yeah, you should really look at streaming as a perk or feat, Ultimate was still the same price with the main aspect being that you get Game Pass for Console and PC.
They 100% need to create a Game Pass Streaming tier for like $5.... I feel like that is a HUGE reason why more people aren't using their phones to stream more games. Putting Xcloud behind a $15 a month price wall is obviously going to push away your normy consumers instead of getting them excited to be able to play full fledged console AAA games on their cell phones (Even if that is somewhat stretching the truth, I personally am not into playing anything besides turn based games pretty much when streaming on my phone... Streaming on a console is way different. Its improved enough to where I could play MLB the show without noticing anything and forgetting I was streaming after a bit)

I remember that Outcast game being one of the big games they showed off last year or possibly the year before. And they ended the show with Wreckreation I believe too. It's nice to see that they are still working on them, but I really would have enjoyed seeing at the very least, a release year, if not some smaller windows or dates.
And that was the epitome of a recruiting trailer... This game can't come soon enough. Nickelodeon better give some substantial funding... I'm sure they will have an animated show to go with this.
@Pusher2021 The game was not made by a huge studio or anything haha. I thought the game played quite well honestly. I had a good time beating it. I think it took like 6 to 8 hours or something like that.

That thermite took soooo long haha. Then one of the teammates grabs a bag of thermite and doesn't even throw it in the pile of burning of thermite haha.
Im sure the guy we were watching was like screaming into the mic to throw it in haha.
This footage/gameplay was played so optimally that it really felt like a lead dev was playing.
I am definitely going to give this game a go when it releases.
I some how didn't get into the Beta before it filled up, and I am in the Alpha Skip Ahead tier... Oh well, the full release is right around the corner

Squeezing Payday 3 in in between Star Field, and Lies of P, is going to show what game I actually think is the most fun. Because with so much quality, there is no reason to play something you aren't really feeling.
The fact they are putting in legit voice acting for the characters in this is at least something in my eyes. I always felt that was a huge reason of why people bounced off the first game so quickly, because once you were playing the game was so quiet and lifeless... The voice acting was essential for giving the game the actual characters the fun uniqueness and much more "realism" to the fantasy of having any of these Nickelodeon characters fighting each other.
Nickelodeon has been cheaping out on effort and financially by leaving out voice acting in all of their games, the Kart Racers, ect. So I am glad they took the minimum effort in actually getting this done in this game...
Xbox makes so many amazing special editions that are only availble to win, with like 1 ever made. They really need to start making special edition consoles, besides the Halo one (which I always felt was pretty tame an uninspired)
Wow I didnt realize the wondering village is actually coming on the 20th of this month.... Kinda surprised, that since it was announced for game pass at their game showcase... That they do not have it on the list of games coming soon to game pass. When they have added a bunch of other games that are coming out way later.
I am stoked that they are bringing a good couple of games that are actually coming to Game Pass. That final game, Wordless, actually looks pretty damn fun for a side scroller... And I kinda wish it was going into Game Pass now haha.
I played the first one out of the blue thanks to Game Pass, and I ended up reeeally liking it. It did take me a couple of tries to really get into it, but once I did I played the ***** out of it for like a month. Looking forward to this new one, cant believe we are just hearing about it and it comes out next month!
The new fighting games are very much tuned for controllers. These fighting sticks are cool, and feel good at times, but even the new controls they have made for Street Fighter... It is completely tuned for controller play. If you are looking into getting into these new fighting games, I would not suggest spending over a hundred bucks on one of these sticks and just try getting used to the games on controller and try the new control schemes they have now.
@NEStalgia It's kind of funny saying the product hasn't sold that well... If they would actually produce more Series X's then they would have more sold. They spent too much of the silicon on Series S and also contributing it to the cloud servers... That should have been by far the last thing to get resources... No one uses it, just ask the lawyers fighting the CMA.
Shredders Revenge makes sense, It probably came to the service just about a year ago. Still sucks even though I really haven't played it since about a month after launch.
Oh Well.... I guess they need to make some room for the new Fable Remasters.... Legends has it anyway.

Uhhh Final Fantasy has already been taken from Xbox. FF7 Remake Part 1 was supposed to only be a 1 year exclusive... Yeah it has been quite a bit longer than a year, Then FF7 Part two just straight up was announced as a Sony exclusive same with FF16. So this deal getting made or not, PS already hashed out a deal to pretty much make FF a First Party game for PlayStation. FF14 was supposed to come to Xbox even, and the piss poor excuses for why it isn't yet... Square is probably under a non disclosure or at least publicly. But honestly Xbox gamers dont even seem to care for Japanese games too much. 1,000% they would much rather have CoD exclusive than Final Fantasy. Xbox is the "Shooter Box".

Yeah Chasm does look cool. It is a proper looking "Boomer Shooter" lol. I really like that new sub genre. As a 34 year old, It is funny to me that these are actually some of the style games that I played for the very first games in my life.
I wish these games would have just been thrown into Game Pass... Probably would have been better for the devs too.

Uhhh they did show some gameplay. They didn't show any combat... but they definitely showed some gameplay towards the end.

I played the first one out of the blue thanks to Game Pass, and I ended up reeeally liking it. It did take me a couple of tries to really get into it, but once I did I played the ***** out of it for like a month. Looking forward to this new one, cant believe we are just hearing about it and it comes out next month!

The new fighting games are very much tuned for controllers. These fighting sticks are cool, and feel good at times, but even the new controls they have made for Street Fighter... It is completely tuned for controller play.
If you are looking into getting into these new fighting games, I would not suggest spending over a hundred bucks on one of these sticks and just try getting used to the games on controller and try the new control schemes they have now.

It's kind of funny saying the product hasn't sold that well... If they would actually produce more Series X's then they would have more sold. They spent too much of the silicon on Series S and also contributing it to the cloud servers... That should have been by far the last thing to get resources... No one uses it, just ask the lawyers fighting the CMA.

Shredders Revenge makes sense, It probably came to the service just about a year ago.
Still sucks even though I really haven't played it since about a month after launch.
Oh Well.... I guess they need to make some room for the new Fable Remasters....

This wont come to Xbox... been in early access for a bit and almost no progress has been made. It is fun, but it won't get fully developed for pc then ported to xbox, no way, not with the small team they have now

Also you pretty much called out the real reason why Square is not part of PS already.... Nintendo. Both platforms pretty much equally split all of Squares games. Square probably makes more money off the games it makes for Nintendo too actually, because they pretty much make games that must have a quarter of the budget as the big blockbuster games they make for PS

Uhhh Final Fantasy has already been taken from Xbox. FF7 Remake Part 1 was supposed to only be a 1 year exclusive... Yeah it has been quite a bit longer than a year, Then FF7 Part two just straight up was announced as a Sony exclusive same with FF16.
So this deal getting made or not, PS already hashed out a deal to pretty much make FF a First Party game for PlayStation. FF14 was supposed to come to Xbox even, and the piss poor excuses for why it isn't yet... Square is probably under a non disclosure or at least publicly.
But honestly Xbox gamers dont even seem to care for Japanese games too much. 1,000% they would much rather have CoD exclusive than Final Fantasy. Xbox is the "Shooter Box".

Hahahaha Wow I seriously would pay to see Jim Ryans face when he saw or heard these exact words being stated by the EU today!!
Shoot If I was Xbox, Yeah I am sure they would make more money selling CoD games on PlayStation... But after how much extra money they just costs Xbox by making such a huge fuss over this deal... Then refusing to sign the above and beyond 10 year offer that included the right to let them pay to put the CoD games on their games service too (PS+). F them. I would continue to put the future CoD games on Nintendo consoles, but PlayStation can choke on a fat log of sh*t.
I would not even wait the ten years, It would be off PlayStation as soon as their marketing rights ran out in 2025. LoL
But that is just me being petty, Xbox just loves being "the nice guys" even if that means PlayStation is going to wipe their asses with Xbox's face, Xbox always will just take it with a smile as long as they come off as the nice guys. I am really getting sick of that p*ssy attitude.

Yeah Chasm does look cool. It is a proper looking "Boomer Shooter" lol. I really like that new sub genre. As a 34 year old, It is funny to me that these are actually some of the style games that I played for the very first games in my life.
I wish these games would have just been thrown into Game Pass... Probably would have been better for the devs too.
