PS put a lot of great older games on their service... if you have never played any of the old first party or old bangers, PS+ has so many classic games you should most definitely enjoy.
Xbox doesnt have as many old classic games, but it does have a lot! N Xbox has made the old games run better n look amazing compared to the original versions.That really makes the older games much more playable. Xbox Game Pass cant even really sa that they include all 1st party games day one, until they actually get some out n on the service (besides Halo, Gears, and Forza). But XGP has been excellent at adding plenty of 3rd party games... some day n date, n some just a few months old, either way they consistantly are adding good games twice a month!!
XGP is better than PS+, and also only costs $9.99 not $18 a month... For $15 a month on Xbox you get a game sub service on console and on PC and get streaming on Xcloud (which has gotten some major upgrades!!) XGP wins on price, content, and future content
This is the second time that Far Cry 6 has been a free to play weekend game. Last time was the same weekend they dropped a Stranger Things cross over mission. I played it for a good 10 hours that weekend. That weekend they also had Judgement, it was a bangin free to play weekend that week!! Stoked to put in a few more hours into it this weekend, hopefully get through most of the story mode haha
@Markatron My first time playing Extraction I hated it. Almost never played it again, but having not too much else to play got me trying it again.
The game is so much more fun if you play it the right way, you HAVE to play it STEALTH. Crouch walking at all times, and always using a silencer. The game takes a lot of communication or playing solo takes a lot of time. But if you play it that way, and get used or just dont give a ***** about the leveling up progression, I was in the later of those two haha. The game is much better than I thought at first... But it also does have some screwy missions that you can be unlucky to get to. Not saying that you should try it again, but just saying that the game got me to think differently upon second play myself.
This game has already came such a long way since its first game ptrview release... It's a fun game, n this final update looks to be huge. I'm really excited to build a crazy ass fortress this time.
Also, this game will continue to get plenty of updates. I am sure they will have updates at future xbox game shows just as often as Sea of Thieves.

You break the terms of the contract, then you have to pay whatever the agreed terms are for breaking the contract. The money Xbox has already put into the deal, they should buy out any deals with Sony. I am guessing they did not do this with Death Loop and Ghost wire was because the price of breaking the contracts would make it impossible to make any money on those games
I dont have my beast of a machine, the OG Xbox ever since the 360 came out. The MVG video was excellent, but in the long run wont effect me at all unless you can play those games online on the Series X

I am not going to put my console into Dev Mode or use my Series X as an emulator machine. But I do find it fascinating that it is possible to do so much amazing emulation on the Series consoles! Compared to the other consoles out there and in the past, these Series consoles are incredible.
When they did not show anything on this during the June show I was really dissapointed, Specially with the show being all about the next year. I really thought they would have had at least a early version of this game ready to show and have it expected to be played for sure within a year of now.
This could be such a big hit! If they do it right, get a couple sponsors to give away prizes. I could see this even being big in Japan and helping sell consoles. A fun game show, that they would probably have to do twice or three times a day. Where lets say you can win game currensy, because the more I think about it, it would be too many prizes to give out if they did prizers for all of the winner... Plus you wanna give a nice incentive for the 100 playing against the 1. But yeah put stuff like controllers n XGP subscription codes in a prize section. The game would take off. N if they really only did the game say at like 3:30 in the afternoon and again at 6:30 or 7:30 at night... I am sure their would eventually be a huge spike of people playing at those times if the game caught on.
I really hope Xbox wakes up and gets their game developers oiled up and pumpin out genuinely fun and quality games at a much more consistant pace. 2022 has been just waaay too much waiting around for next year. Not a fun feeling.

@Ralizah What kinda phone do you use when you use Xcloud on your phone? I have had such good experiences the handful of times I have played Xcloud on my 1+8 phone. It has 120fps, and if their is lag, I cant notice it... Even playing MLB The Show. N if their was lag on a baseball game, it wouldnt be playable. I do have Gigabyte internet though not sure if you do too.

Xbox LAUNCH EXCLUSIVE?? I thought WarHammer Darktide was going to be an actualy exclusive game for Xbox consoles.... But now that I am thinking it through a little bit, I think I was under the impression that Warhammer was part of the Bethesda acquisition. I have never played more than a game session or two of a few of the War Hammer games that were in Game Pass. But this new one, the trailer got me hyped! I guess Xbox just did a deal with War Hammer, because I recently saw them showcase all of the future games they are working on. Xbox, please start making these deal legit exclusivity if they are not going to be permenantly exclusive. A three month exclusivity means very very little. I feel like when STALKER2 finally releases, and people realize that it is only on Xbox exclusively for 3 months, They are going to be pretty frustrated and PS fans are just going to talk ***** like they always do. But I really feel like Xbox should have paid for a full year of exclusivity. I mean shoot, Sony is paying for two full years of exclusivity for Forespoken.... and lets not even get started about Sonys deal for Final Fantasy
@Lavalera I was kinda unsure how much I would enjoy the BR part of it. But they do have a bot mode to get used to it, and after 2-3 o those I was worked up enough to try it against people... I have actually won most of the games I have played, I have 4 wins and 2 loses (against humans not bots) just playing quick match(so you get team of three sometimes or just one vs. everyone)
I honestly forgot about the campaign, Also I was playing as part of the Beta so I could have been going agsint easier competition maybe, I dont no.
Icoulda sworn this was coming to XGP but I must have gotten this confused with Weird West.. I did really like Weird West though. But damn this looks sooo much better now compared to when it was first anounced like a year or two ago

Hmmmm.... I coulda sworn that the PS5 was not even 1440P compatible still?? I know it was not at launch and I really dont think I have hear about an update for the PS5 regaurding 1440P TV's and Monitors... So why does this article say that Xbox is going to be 4K 60FPS and PS5 is going to be 1440P at 60FPS.
Anyone have any insight on this for me??

Damn well you must have really earned it honestly, I have been part of the the Insider Program for over 5 years and really try to take advantage of all of the previews and give feedback n stuff. I was having trouble remembering some of my old favorite games as a kid, being 33 years old I most definitely remember the good old Windows 98 days.
I really can't seem to remember my OG games besides these couple of classics...

Can anyone make a small list of some of the best games that ran on Windows 98? I appreciate it.
I am not going to put my console into Dev Mode or use my Series X as an emulator machine. But I do find it fascinating that it is possible to do so much amazing emulation on the Series consoles! Compared to the other consoles out there and in the past, these Series consoles are incredible.

When they did not show anything on this during the June show I was really dissapointed, Specially with the show being all about the next year. I really thought they would have had at least a early version of this game ready to show and have it expected to be played for sure within a year of now.
This could be such a big hit! If they do it right, get a couple sponsors to give away prizes. I could see this even being big in Japan and helping sell consoles.
A fun game show, that they would probably have to do twice or three times a day. Where lets say you can win game currensy, because the more I think about it, it would be too many prizes to give out if they did prizers for all of the winner... Plus you wanna give a nice incentive for the 100 playing against the 1.
But yeah put stuff like controllers n XGP subscription codes in a prize section. The game would take off.
N if they really only did the game say at like 3:30 in the afternoon and again at 6:30 or 7:30 at night... I am sure their would eventually be a huge spike of people playing at those times if the game caught on.
I really hope Xbox wakes up and gets their game developers oiled up and pumpin out genuinely fun and quality games at a much more consistant pace. 2022 has been just waaay too much waiting around for next year. Not a fun feeling.

I am in the Insiders Program, even in the Alpha Skip Ahead ring. And I feel like they put random games in for testing so spuradically, and dont give me notifications or anything. That I will rarely get into Betas or testing without someone on here mentioning the game.

100% Sony started this ***** upcharge on games. And guess what, the developers are not seeing any of it.
Sony honestly said that they had to raise the price to $70 because it costs them so much more to create a game on this next generation of consoles... That is a steamin load of *****.
If anything, these new consoles and the newest version of these game engines... have tools to make creating games way easierthan ever before.
Sony, it's for the payers!

They showed this game originally as it being an Xbox console exclusive, and was shown at a show that almost ever other game in it was going to be on Game Pass day one. So a lot of people thought this was going to be a Game Pass game, I even kinda forgot that it wasnt honestly. If it is not going to be exclusive at all for Xbox, then I really wish it was on Game Pass.
The game play I saw of the game about 3 months ago was really good. It gots me ready to buy this game for sure, but if it is not a full length game, I am not going to buy it for full price that is for sure

What kinda phone do you use when you use Xcloud on your phone? I have had such good experiences the handful of times I have played Xcloud on my 1+8 phone. It has 120fps, and if their is lag, I cant notice it... Even playing MLB The Show. N if their was lag on a baseball game, it wouldnt be playable. I do have Gigabyte internet though not sure if you do too.

I thought WarHammer Darktide was going to be an actualy exclusive game for Xbox consoles....
But now that I am thinking it through a little bit, I think I was under the impression that Warhammer was part of the Bethesda acquisition.
I have never played more than a game session or two of a few of the War Hammer games that were in Game Pass. But this new one, the trailer got me hyped! I guess Xbox just did a deal with War Hammer, because I recently saw them showcase all of the future games they are working on.
Xbox, please start making these deal legit exclusivity if they are not going to be permenantly exclusive. A three month exclusivity means very very little. I feel like when STALKER2 finally releases, and people realize that it is only on Xbox exclusively for 3 months, They are going to be pretty frustrated and PS fans are just going to talk ***** like they always do. But I really feel like Xbox should have paid for a full year of exclusivity.
I mean shoot, Sony is paying for two full years of exclusivity for Forespoken.... and lets not even get started about Sonys deal for Final Fantasy

I was kinda unsure how much I would enjoy the BR part of it. But they do have a bot mode to get used to it, and after 2-3 o those I was worked up enough to try it against people...
I have actually won most of the games I have played, I have 4 wins and 2 loses (against humans not bots) just playing quick match(so you get team of three sometimes or just one vs. everyone)
I honestly forgot about the campaign, Also I was playing as part of the Beta so I could have been going agsint easier competition maybe, I dont no.
