For just how much everyone hated the Rainbow Six Extraction game, I some how found a good handful of hours of entertainment from that thing.
You definitely had to play it completely stealth. Like smoke a bowl or two and get incredibly into the game.
I feel like I saw it on sale from Game Fly for less than $10 the other day, I wanna say like $6.50 or something haha. I honestly would think about picking it up for just a change of pace game once in a blue moon. But I fee like it must be pretty difficult finding games nowadays.
I got intothe beta, just waiting on an email. Ill check soon, and I do not expect to like this game at all. But will be entertaining for a few minutes im sure

@xboxjapanfan He joined Halo infinite about 6 months before the game was initially going to release. Then they pushed it a year. When Halo Infinite first came out it was not already in flames as you say. It got good metacritic scores and the majority of players thought the MP felt better than it had since the original trilogy.
With this being the first announcement and it only being made by 2 people presently... This game is for sure not going to be coming out this year. You can bet on that. So hopefully we hear something about a Game Pass deal when we actually get closer to the game launching

@Discostew Also the best/quickest way to get the 150 points for Bing searches is to just search for something like, "Art". Then when it shows the results, click on "Images" instead of the normal search. While searching things under images, you can just click on the different things at the top that are related searches.... Such as, when searching Art first, you will have the choicess of "Blue Art", "Modern Art", "Large Art"... Stuff like that. Then just keep clicking on those different options. It usually takes me like 2 minutes to get the 150 points done, then I do it on my phone for the other 100. Presented.
@Discostew That happens from time to time on my Series X and I usually have to close all the apps and restart my console. Then when its back on I open the Rewards App, if it still isn't giving me the points, I will close the app and then it usually works the next time I open it. I guess you could try restarting the console or holding the power button for 5 seconds to fully reboot the system and clear the cache if it still isn't working.

BUTTTT... Long story short. Quantum Break is only leaving Game Pass (when normally Xbox first party games/exclusives do not leave Game Pass) because the game as a whole is GETTING DE-LISTED FROM THE STORE.
So Xbox can't really leave the game on Xbox Game Pass when it is about to not even be available for purchase at all.
I could go more into detail, but in order to not write a novel sized comment. It's simple as that, the game will no longer be available on Xbox at all, so of course it will no longer be available on game pass.
For all the people complaining that they are shrinking the rewards or whatever... Yes I have noticed that things like Game Pass Ultimate have started costing 2 thousand more credits I believe (14k instead of 12k)... So if that is what you are going to for sure be redeeming your monthly Rewards point on then it is best to sign up for the "Auto Redeem" feature... It makes it the cheapest amount possible. You do have to sign up a month ahead of time though.
But as someone who recently just picked up a PS5 (on sale and directly from a store!! No scalper BS) MS Rewards points is sooooo much better than what they have going on over there haha. We should all be very grateful. They don't even have good sh*t to redeem if you do somehow accumulate a lot of points.
@WallyWest Seeing as you know your video games industry history so well (even though that Marvel news was a recent headline that is now widely known). Then you would realize that during that time Xbox had 5 studios but even out of those five most of those were dedicated studios to particular game franchises, like Halo Gears of War, etc.
Xbox would not have done a SpiderMan game justice the way Insomniac has. So making it seem like Xbox made a bone head decision by not taking Marvel up on making that game, really their was no real decision. Xbox did not have the studio to even produce it at the time. Things would be a lot different now, but even so, Xbox has made it clear how much they value actually owning the IP they are making games for. That is why we do not have a Rise Son of Rom 2, because Xbox does not own the IP
And if PlayStation would have bought Bethesda... Do we expect them to keep making the games in mid development for Xbox as well?? With the way they make their marketing deals usually involve some sort of exclusive content for PlayStation... I highly doubt they would be releasing any games for Xbox.
Xbox not buying their way out of the Ghostwire and Death Loop contracts and publishing those games exclusively for PS while making Xbox wait a year to get those games... That showed enough humility and respect in my book. I just have a real hard time thinking PS would have done the same.
@themightyant GTames that say, "Install to: included with GOLD" Are not games that you own yet... They are games that are available to claim for free because you are an Xbox Gold Member. As this article states though, most of the time, those game are only free for a short amount of time.

@Kaloudz I fully agree that the first Nino Kuni was a great game, I was stoked that it was not a full on turned based game. I was really hypedfor the sequel at first too, but I have only heard that the second one is not near as good unfortunately. I am stoked I get to try it out for myself and for "free".
I am really looking forward to Valheim on console though most. I have been keen on trying this game since its huge buzz on the PC when it first launched like a year ago.
Yeah that sounds like a good idea, But I bet the game devs themselves have only known about this desicion for a short amount of time. When a product starts costing you more than it is making you gotta make changes.
It sucks because I thought this was a really cool game and played a fair amount when it first launched. But I remember after taking a few weeks off and then getting back on, just getting my a** waxed. Haha It was a really cool idea though and they implemented the mechanics very well. Probably was a pretty hard game to go from concept to actual game.

This game looks like hawt garb imo... If games like Rumble Verse did not even make it a full year as a live service game... This POS wont either even with Game Pass hahaha. I am being hyperbolic... but yeah this game looks like shat. They need to get their Expert Gamers card revoked haha. Their really is no souls like energy to this game in my honest opinion. It is a action RPG with a bunch of fun/cool talent trees to fill in. I would give the game a solid 8.5, and all the people crying at the dialogue of the main protagonist like it was the worst writing and voice acting ever... Mario 64 ushered in 3D gaming to the main stream and was a benchmark moment in gaming history really. PSVR2... well it just is not close to that level. The lackluster amount of games and with nothing big to even be looking forward to right now besides RE4 is a major part of that. (Also, RE4 is already out on the Quest2 and yes it may not be this new version, it still is the classic "best RE game" in VR and has been on the Quest 2 for like 8 months or something already)
Sony has had a couple shows that have showed like 4 or 5 VR games off in them each but besides Horizon their has really been no first party epic games for the player base to even be looking forward to. And IMHO, someone who has had VR for years and has a huge library of games, Horizon VR was not the hit that Sony needed it to be. The visuals are nice, but their is no breakthrough game mechanics that will make your jaw drop or make the player feel like "now this is why I spent another $600 on this headset". I am still very curious to see how much Sony really supports the thing, seeing as Horizon was not even fully made by a first party studio, I think Gorilla just partnered on it. I want to see that PS has a handful of first party studios working on major games, like Half Life Alex level games for the thing.
When they literally omitted Beat Saber from the launch line up, that just makes you wonder if this thing is truly something PS themselves really are backing 100%

Their are A LOT of good games out right now. The majority of people on my friends list are playing Hogwarts still. So yes I have been "burned" by buying a game that came to Game Pass weeks later (It Takes 2), and I was a tad bit reserved on buying games when that happened. But at the same time, When Game Pass is hitting and I feel like I am getting a lot of great games for "free", I end up going big on one of the what feels like non stop sales going on in the game store. I have bought 5 games in the last 2 weeks. A lot of them older games but still l really do disagree with the narrative that people dont buy games and just wait for them to come to game pass on Xbox. If it is an EA game, well then yeah, you know it will come eventually. Other than EA games and ones that are announced way ahead of time, I personally do not count on them to come to Game Pass. If I buy them and they do, well then I will have more friends to play it with is my take on it now. I bought it cause I really wanted to play it.

@Kaloudz Okay... I just played PSVR2 RE Village and okay... This is BY FAR the best VR game on the headset. It is impressive. An actual full game with such proper thought to the VR aspect.

The tech in the PSVR2 is nice, but its launch line up was extremely lackluster. With GT7 being the best game on the headset by far, their are plenty of VR racing games already out that dont switch to flat 2D screens in the menus in between races. Call of the Mountain should have just been called Horizon:Climb the Mountain. N it just is no where near the quality of experince I was expecting for it being pretty much the only first party IP game in available at launch. For their VR scene to be blowing up as you said, they realllly should have shown off at least one first party VR game that is coming down the pipeline preferably before this holiday but really just a glimpse of anything so we know they are actually supporting this thing with their 1st party studios... not just bringing games over from the Quest 2 at a promised higher resolution but with a higher price as well. Not even having beat saber at launch... that just feels weird that it is missing. I could go on, but I think I made my point... PSVR2 Still has a ways to go
@Dezzy70 Well seeing as Xbox went from game Publisher of the Year in 2021 to having no games published at all besides Pentament in 2022... It is safe to say that you are not going to sell nearly as many video game consoles when you are not putting out any video games. This year will get Xbox back on track to where they want to be, consistently releasing high quality games. In turn the sales numbers will come back up and more likely than not be even higher (the chip shortage has just now started to go away so with new games and stock being available)
For the people asking what will happen if Sony never signs ***** n the deal does fully get passed... It should be obvious... Their will be "Concessions" saying Xbox will have to put the game on the PlayStation platform for a certain amount of years, most likely not 10 full years though.
As well as all the people saying, So after the ten year deal ends... Will Xbox THEN take CoD off of the PlayStation platform? No.... At the end of the 10 years Sony will..... Negotiate a new deal for a more normal amount of time in the industry like 3 years.
Make sense? I hope so.
Lastly, the couple of people mentioning Sony should buy Ubisoft to counter this deal, if/when it goes through (after today I feel like it is like 90% going through, with some obvious concessions but Xbox will accept them). Buying Ubisoft is not really an option for Sony. But furthermore, Sony would not want to buy Ubisoft. It has been highly reported Ubisoft has been doing pretty damn bad financially lately. With Skull N MF Bones being their big title for the last year pretty much. Not Good. The main thing most of you need to also take into consideration when thinking about Sony buying Ubisoft, or anyone for that matter. Ubisoft employs A LOT of people. Like way too damn many people. They currently have around 20 thousand employees at Ubisoft. To take that into perspective, Activision has roughly half that at 10 thousand workers. Ubisoft is not putting out CoD type games every year, and have double the employees... That is not a financial investment that you want to take on with the thought of expanding your company as a whole. So even if Sony could buy Ubisoft, they wouldn't.
Currently Sony is not going to buy Square Enix either I prosume... I mean why would they? They already are getting all of the content and nearly all of the big content as exclusive content to the PlayStation platform. Bringing Square in is just a risk for something they currently are already getting. It isn't exactly that simple, but that is an easy way to look at it.
I thought this was going to be about Benedict Fox.... I really liked the demo they just released on Steam. It feels polished and I feel like they said it will be ready early Summer.
Valhiem was such a buzz game for PC last year. I am actually really looking forward to giving it a go. Survival games are always very hit or miss with me. They are very much something that you have to go all in on to make them worth it and fun.
Game Pass is the best, Haters really need to STFU and just get an Xbox or actually get a proper PC that they lie about having haha

Besides the couple of games, do take in mind that we got Atomic Heart and Wo Long to start off this month.
I feel like Game Pass has been adding a few less games per month, but the quality has been higher than last year imho.

I fully agree that the first Nino Kuni was a great game, I was stoked that it was not a full on turned based game. I was really hypedfor the sequel at first too, but I have only heard that the second one is not near as good unfortunately. I am stoked I get to try it out for myself and for "free".
I am really looking forward to Valheim on console though most. I have been keen on trying this game since its huge buzz on the PC when it first launched like a year ago.

Yeah that sounds like a good idea, But I bet the game devs themselves have only known about this desicion for a short amount of time. When a product starts costing you more than it is making you gotta make changes.
It sucks because I thought this was a really cool game and played a fair amount when it first launched. But I remember after taking a few weeks off and then getting back on, just getting my a** waxed. Haha It was a really cool idea though and they implemented the mechanics very well. Probably was a pretty hard game to go from concept to actual game.
If anyone from the Studio sees this, I am looking forward to seein what your next project is and I wish you luck!

This game looks like hawt garb imo... If games like Rumble Verse did not even make it a full year as a live service game... This POS wont either even with Game Pass hahaha. I am being hyperbolic... but yeah this game looks like shat. Thank god we can play it for free, and mindless games can still be fun and have their time and place so I appreciate it as more content in game pass... Just wouldnt call it high quality content.

Yeahhh I just beat Atomic Shart tonight and it was the *****. I dont care what those other reviewers were syaing... I mean whoever called Atomic Shart a Souls like... They need to get their Expert Gamers card revoked haha. Their really is no souls like energy to this game in my honest opinion. It is a action RPG with a bunch of fun/cool talent trees to fill in. I would give the game a solid 8.5, and all the people crying at the dialogue of the main protagonist like it was the worst writing and voice acting ever... Go play that recent Final Fantasy game with Limp Biscut hahaha now that is real cringe dialogue.

My main thought was that it could have been dumb and cringey doing that, but actually that was really cool of you and this game will always have the thought that someone cool gave them a copy for free.. Not some BS Media transphobia crap. You gave them a muuuuch better thought and experience to attach to that thought of that game.

Hahaha Have you tried it yet? I am going to take that as obviously not and aregoing by someones headline. It is NO WHERE NEAR being able to call it that. Mario 64 ushered in 3D gaming to the main stream and was a benchmark moment in gaming history really.
PSVR2... well it just is not close to that level.
The lackluster amount of games and with nothing big to even be looking forward to right now besides RE4 is a major part of that. (Also, RE4 is already out on the Quest2 and yes it may not be this new version, it still is the classic "best RE game" in VR and has been on the Quest 2 for like 8 months or something already)
Sony has had a couple shows that have showed like 4 or 5 VR games off in them each but besides Horizon their has really been no first party epic games for the player base to even be looking forward to. And IMHO, someone who has had VR for years and has a huge library of games, Horizon VR was not the hit that Sony needed it to be. The visuals are nice, but their is no breakthrough game mechanics that will make your jaw drop or make the player feel like "now this is why I spent another $600 on this headset".
I am still very curious to see how much Sony really supports the thing, seeing as Horizon was not even fully made by a first party studio, I think Gorilla just partnered on it. I want to see that PS has a handful of first party studios working on major games, like Half Life Alex level games for the thing.
When they literally omitted Beat Saber from the launch line up, that just makes you wonder if this thing is truly something PS themselves really are backing 100%

Yeah that simply is a narrative completely made up by your own thoughts or media. I have 18 people online right now on my friends list.... and 3 of them are playing Game Pass games. ! on Grounded, 1 on Madden 23, and 1 on Sea of Thieves. I am currently playing Dead Space as well. Their are A LOT of good games out right now. The majority of people on my friends list are playing Hogwarts still.
So yes I have been "burned" by buying a game that came to Game Pass weeks later (It Takes 2), and I was a tad bit reserved on buying games when that happened. But at the same time, When Game Pass is hitting and I feel like I am getting a lot of great games for "free", I end up going big on one of the what feels like non stop sales going on in the game store. I have bought 5 games in the last 2 weeks. A lot of them older games but still l really do disagree with the narrative that people dont buy games and just wait for them to come to game pass on Xbox.
If it is an EA game, well then yeah, you know it will come eventually. Other than EA games and ones that are announced way ahead of time, I personally do not count on them to come to Game Pass.
If I buy them and they do, well then I will have more friends to play it with is my take on it now. I bought it cause I really wanted to play it.

Damn, even though I got the game through game sharing and in essence got it free. It would have made my day if I would have gotten a copy of the game from you, as I was going to Game Stop most likely to pick up a copy too.
So I gotta say, at first my thought was... That is a little dramatic to actually do something like that over all this BS drama. BUT then after another second of thought.
It is actually pretty damn cool that you gave those five people extremely happy and positive thoughts now when they think about Hog Leg, instead of any of the BS drama that unfortunately surrounds the game. That was really cool of you!

I get that you still live off your parents and have no real perspective of bills and money management. We were all there once. But if you are old enough to feel like commenting on articles on an Xbox -centric website, PURE XBOX, when you are obviously a PlayStation fan.

But if bought all of that at full price or on sale, it doesn't matter to anyone else. Just my own personal bank account.
So you valuing that you spend more than others on video games... I am sorry to inform ya son, and I get living in your parents' extra bedroom makes it not really even matter for your adolescent ass. But some day, you will realize that girls are not going to like you more because you have a PS5 LoL.

Okay... I just played PSVR2 RE Village and okay... This is BY FAR the best VR game on the headset. It is impressive. An actual full game with such proper thought to the VR aspect.

The tech in the PSVR2 is nice, but its launch line up was extremely lackluster. With GT7 being the best game on the headset by far, their are plenty of VR racing games already out that dont switch to flat 2D screens in the menus in between races.
Call of the Mountain should have just been called Horizon:Climb the Mountain. N it just is no where near the quality of experince I was expecting for it being pretty much the only first party IP game in available at launch.
For their VR scene to be blowing up as you said, they realllly should have shown off at least one first party VR game that is coming down the pipeline preferably before this holiday but really just a glimpse of anything so we know they are actually supporting this thing with their 1st party studios... not just bringing games over from the Quest 2 at a promised higher resolution but with a higher price as well.
Not even having beat saber at launch... that just feels weird that it is missing.
I could go on, but I think I made my point... PSVR2 Still has a ways to go

Well seeing as Xbox went from game Publisher of the Year in 2021 to having no games published at all besides Pentament in 2022...
It is safe to say that you are not going to sell nearly as many video game consoles when you are not putting out any video games.
This year will get Xbox back on track to where they want to be, consistently releasing high quality games. In turn the sales numbers will come back up and more likely than not be even higher (the chip shortage has just now started to go away so with new games and stock being available)

For the people asking what will happen if Sony never signs ***** n the deal does fully get passed...
It should be obvious... Their will be "Concessions" saying Xbox will have to put the game on the PlayStation platform for a certain amount of years, most likely not 10 full years though.
As well as all the people saying, So after the ten year deal ends... Will Xbox THEN take CoD off of the PlayStation platform?
No....
At the end of the 10 years Sony will.....
Negotiate a new deal for a more normal amount of time in the industry like 3 years.

Lastly, the couple of people mentioning Sony should buy Ubisoft to counter this deal, if/when it goes through (after today I feel like it is like 90% going through, with some obvious concessions but Xbox will accept them).
Buying Ubisoft is not really an option for Sony.
But furthermore, Sony would not want to buy Ubisoft. It has been highly reported Ubisoft has been doing pretty damn bad financially lately. With Skull N MF Bones being their big title for the last year pretty much. Not Good.
The main thing most of you need to also take into consideration when thinking about Sony buying Ubisoft, or anyone for that matter.
Ubisoft employs A LOT of people. Like way too damn many people. They currently have around 20 thousand employees at Ubisoft.
To take that into perspective, Activision has roughly half that at 10 thousand workers. Ubisoft is not putting out CoD type games every year, and have double the employees... That is not a financial investment that you want to take on with the thought of expanding your company as a whole.
So even if Sony could buy Ubisoft, they wouldn't.
Currently Sony is not going to buy Square Enix either I prosume... I mean why would they? They already are getting all of the content and nearly all of the big content as exclusive content to the PlayStation platform.
Bringing Square in is just a risk for something they currently are already getting. It isn't exactly that simple, but that is an easy way to look at it.

I thought this was going to be about Benedict Fox.... I really liked the demo they just released on Steam. It feels polished and I feel like they said it will be ready early Summer.
Valhiem was such a buzz game for PC last year. I am actually really looking forward to giving it a go.
Survival games are always very hit or miss with me. They are very much something that you have to go all in on to make them worth it and fun.
Game Pass is the best, Haters really need to STFU and just get an Xbox or actually get a proper PC that they lie about having haha
