The company's Azure cloud computing platform, which underpins large parts of the internet, reported a "degradation of some services, external" at 1600 GMT.

It said this was due to "DNS issues" - the same root cause of the huge Amazon Web Services (AWS) outage last week.

I already own most of the games available and the rest I could have but wouldn't play them so didn't bother buying , so if I carry on with ultimate I'm paying to rent games I already own and with Fortnite I'll never use so I'll b paying for that also.

How about a tier that includes day ones without the extra fat like ubisoft and fortnite

I'm not a harry potter fan but I loved the game ,played it when it was released and completed it ( after waiting for them to fix achievements ), I'd play it again on series x version but unfortunately it hasn't got separate achievement lists

I have been a big defender of Microsoft but no more ,I'm not paying for Fortnite when ill never play it or for ubisoft games I already own just so I can get day one games ,sub will run out in the new year and I'm gone ,time to dust off the PS4 and contemplate a ps5

They taking the P×××, they say Microsoft published games will come to the premium tier up to 12 months, what about the indie day one games that aren't Microsoft published? Only get them if you pay for ultimate

Looks like the Microsoft execs have a massive Christmas party for themselves to pay for so quickly raised prices on EVERYTHING

I'll be the one that says I don't agree , lets face it if gp was so bad for Devs would gp have half the games it does ???? No ,the problem is no matter if gp exists or doesn't ppl are spending less on gaming as prices for everything just keep going up and up , one of the casualties of having less money is paying a hell of a lot for a game you buy for say £50 complete over a weekend then might not even touch again days are gone and it's costing a lot more to actually Create the the games now than it used to with the rising costs ,gp is actually good for the consumer for once .

i will buy games that I love and most games I wouldn't have spent the money to buy to play first of it wasn't for game pass I'm just a lot more picky nowadays in what I will pay for

For the first time ever with a assassins creed game I'm not buying it and am instead having Ubisoft plus for a month ,I learnt my lesson with mirage

@CoolDadTx yeh same as they did with Forza and a few other games it won't be long before they catch up unfortunately

I like not having to get a achievement BUT from the past streak mess ups it won't be long before someone's streak gets messed up for no reason what so ever and then earning less points because of it ,then that leads to emails to support that takes weeks of talking to different ppl to try and get it all sorted , its happened soooo manny times in the past,now even the streak protection is failing a hell of a lot of people and it's a roulette if it's going to work or not

Another thought, isn't it illegal to ride a bike on public roads without a helmet ????

The moral of the story carry your Xbox when ur dumb enough not to wear a bike helmet and if you manage to live Xbox will send you a new console , the world gets dumber I swear

Me myself didn't get excited soon as I saw the reveal trailer and casting and I'm a big borderlands gamer

steam and ps5 only ....can't even test how it is on Xbox

I just can't stand Jeff unfortunately he's a big part of these shows but I like games so I watch ....and fell asleep during it , a couple of things I liked but overall it was boring , nothing screamed buy me now !!!!

Quite frankly I don't care if it's on ps too , my main console is Xbox and I'm not going to kick off if they put some games on ps ,I'm hoping that we as Xbox users will benefit from this like from the money they will make goes back in to more games for Xbox and even some exclusives

Oh before ppl say I wait for game pass blah blah I by games as well as pay for game pass I have a really big library and I'll b honest a lot of games I've brought and they then appeared on gp ...eg I got immortals of aveum in January I think I knew it was going to game pass /ea eventually but still paid for it

All the doom and gloomers , no they will not be putting all games on ps /nin etc , it was outed in the court case that that paid Disney so Indiana Jones would be exclusive to Xbox, you think they know so little of business that they would pay whatever that amount was then release it multiplatform ? And for those who pay stupid amounts for GP ,get it from Brazil /turkey etc it's approx £26 for 8 months ( if GP has expired )

They make far more than they give away FREE , they have grown into a 3 trillion dollar company by not giving stuff away FREE

They are paying for our data to get paid by others and it's not just the odd 1pence here and there It's millions

We used our hardware which is wear and tear ,electricity , our time (somedays play a pc game can take say 1 hour )
We buy Into the brand and stay with them because of the stuff we have in there already
When we play gp games our friends might go get gp so they can play with us and they might stay subbing to it so in the future the same thing
Then we stay on the platform but what if we think a game that's not on gp me and friends will enjoy ? We will buy it,more money for em
Plus the data they sell and more investors cause hey them search numbers are going up thanx to the odd pence they give us
Advertising data for the ads that they already know we like cause we just answered a poll on it

All for approx £8 a month? Yeh really FREE poor Microsoft ( or any other company that makes money from data like FB )

A lot of ppl defending this and saying it's free and can't give away gp for free etc , it's never free , do you think Microsoft aren't making money off this ? They sell the search data from us our spending habits etc etc ,they get ppl into the ecosystem ( the more they get the less chance of them moving ) and the search data and user numbers look good to investors that will Invest more money , and now they give away less of what they make off us it's perfectly healthy for Microsoft

Edit : forgot to add advertisers as well , do you think rewards wants to know if we prefer pizza or bread for polls for fun ??? Some pizza company will invest in advertising off that data ka Ching more money

I can't stop doing searches , I've even searched games that the lead character dies at the end

I played the Xbox one version of control and it's dlc and then the ultimate edition and now I can play the pc version with dlc for another achievement stack and I'm looking forward to doing it ,3rd time here we come !!!
