Sticking with it. I like being able to use the cloud up on multiple devices and I enjoy the library of games given to us in the ultimate tier, so I see no reason to leave. Does the price increase suck? Sure. Is it the end of the world? Nope, not even close.

I don't play Fortnite at all but I'll play a couple of the Ubisoft games a go mostly older ones and the smaller titles!
I'm staying with ultimate until the end of the year see how it works out considering the rewards points buff will work out around 8 quid a month for me!
I'll just see how it works out and if it will be value for money for my gaming habits!
But I'm in no way happy about the restructure!

When my current prepaid Ultimate expires I’ll downgrade to premium for online play most likely. Cancelling entirely isn’t entirely off the cards, but we’ll see, as I don’t even do online all that often.

Ultimate cost too much IMO now and I’m mostly playing on PS5 Pro, including MS published titles. I prefer to buy games outright anyway and the price increases further makes that appealing to me over just using gamepass to access title.

Cloud gaming on Premiums a win but at least.

Not that bad waiting up to a year for new releases as that's probably when they go to PS and will be patched and in fully working order

Regarding cloud gaming never really used it and this better service depending on chosen tier just puts me off.

Also not including DLC and the early access nonsense in the highest tier absolutely stinks but hey ho we getting loads of day one releases.........don't you just love the bargain bin indie games.

My sub is ending at the end of the year. I'm just going to let it lapse and play what I already own.

I'm staying subscribed for the time being and especially if I can still get the 3 months stackable membership from the likes of CDKeys. There is still great value for me to be a GamePass Ultimate member for the foreseeable future ( that can off course change very quickly if Microsoft can't control their insatiable f@king greed).

I won't be staying on ultimate that is all I can say for certain right now as its no longer giving me the value I want from the service.

At the moment I am looking at all my options and seeing what is best for me as a gamer. I have a few months grace so I don't need to rush this decision or anything.

No one enjoys a price increase but they are a reality of the current climate & not just in gaming, unfortunately. So I am not angry about the change, it happens, you deal with it & move on.

I'd covered 9/12 months or more with rewards. I'm canceling but I'm probably a subset microsoft is trying to weed out.

I'm trying to figure out how it would affect my household to go from Ultimate to Premium. It's me and my 19 year old. We don't care for the Fortnite addition or the whole streaming thing. Right now he's not playing on PC, but it's in his radar.
Basically, we want to see what games are in Ultimate that are not in Premium to see if it's anything that we'd miss.
Do you guys know if there's an easy complete list somewhere?

Dropped ultimate and went with essential. The value is gone for ultimate and no amount of 10 year old ubisoft games will change that. I just like to be able to play games with my friends online when we have time and I will just work through my backlog or buy any game I really want. Not like Xbox has had many must haves in the last decade anyway.

I'd already let my sub lapse to play non-GP titles, so my plans haven't changed in that regard. However, it's a massive shame as the way I used GPU was to sub for a month when a cool game came to the service that I could beat in a month. Which means I won't be playing really cool games like Keeper for some time now, until it drops onto Premium.

Honestly, I feel bewildered, angry, and taken for granted as someone who truly loves the Series X as a piece of kit

Mine was up next month and it won't ever be renewed at these prices. The additions to the top tier have no value for me whatsoever, so now I'll just buy the Xbox games I want on Steam or Playstation as I don't really see a future in me investing in their platform anymore

It's over, I'm canceling my Gamepass subscription because this is a clear daytime robbery.🤬 I have a pre-purchased Gamepass Ultimate which expires on September 12, 2026, but after that I will not be purchasing any more Gamepass or a new XBOX console because the prices of both consoles and Gamepass have gone out of control.🤬 My current XBOX Series X will be my last console and I will be switching to PC gaming and Steam for good. I still own every XBOX generation console and games but this was the last straw. I'm finally moving to PC gaming for good which I've been slowly integrating into over the last year.

They should let us build our own tier. They bloated ultimate with so much needless stuff. Make each petk an add on to a base subscription.

I'm really not sure but it sure as hell won't involve paying the best part of three hundred quid a year to rent games.

At the moment I'm just putting another month of Ultimate on to take me to mid November, let the dust settle etc.

After that I'll probably go for Premium but may do a conversion.

Ended my membership last night. I read the news and realised I am just checked out now. I’ll buy any games I want to play on Xbox in the future. I’ve had a good time with Game Pass since I got my Series X, though - can’t fault the value it has provided up until now.

Putting the Series X on Ebay at the weekend.

(To be fair I haven't had reason to turn it on since April, this is just the final straw).

I am very disappointed, but not because of Gamepass or the price increase specifically, but because of Xbox's management over the last two years or so, which has been an absolute disaster.

That many people en masse are trying to cancel it has crashed the site...

Looking at what games I currently play through GP, I will be downgrading to Essential. I have no need or don't really want to pay for the extra added benefits with Ultimate.

I've been on core which renews every 3 months just to pay the online tax. While the changes won't affect me I'm still miffed with Microsoft about this. Coming after hardware price rises and huge layoffs, they have no respect for their customers or their workers.
I already no longer buy new games from MS. If they raise the price of essential then I'm completely out.

As someone who hasn't had XGP in around two years, this isn't enticing me to join - it's pushing me further away. Didn't Microsoft just announce huge profits?

Haven't had Game Pass in over a year and haven't missed it. It's undoubtedly been great value for money, but being on PC there are so many ways to get cheap games that I didn't see the need for it.

@Grackler each time I've jumped ship to a new gaming ecosystem, I just haven't looked back. There's no point in stressing over it, especially as there's no guarantee that the games we own in said ecosystem will even be playable in one or two generations' time, let alone further down the line.

@Markatron84 I've just spent an enjoyable half hour speccing up a PC on PC Specialist. I'm not going to do anything knee jerk but this is, without doubt, my last console generation.

@Scrubchub I haven't regretted stepping away from consoles (apart from Nintendo, because it'll be a cold day in Hell before they put anything out on PC) for one second. I went into PC gaming knowing that things like optimal settings in games aren't going to be spoon-fed to me, and that my first port of call in any game should be the display/graphics settings menu, and that small "inconvenience" has been outweighed by the benefits a thousand times over.

I think I'm in a very small group, but once my Game Pass Ultimate expires next year, I will switch to Essential just to keep Online multiplayer for games I play (which is mostly Elden Ring Nightreign now).

I know that the value of GPU is incredible, but nowadays I'm extremely picky with games. The only games I tried and enjoyed were Expedition 33, Silksong and new Doom, so technically I could buy these games only instead of having GPU, but well.

I can't be the only person here who doesn't have game pass, haven't done for over a year. Have only ever had the lowest tier in the past, to play online, but the xbox just gathers dust now. was never interested in renting games.

I have been a big defender of Microsoft but no more ,I'm not paying for Fortnite when ill never play it or for ubisoft games I already own just so I can get day one games ,sub will run out in the new year and I'm gone ,time to dust off the PS4 and contemplate a ps5

My Ultimate sub expires tomorrow, will just let it lapse and start using the meager rewards points from here on out on an Amazon gift card here and there. Will sell our S and get another year of PS plus/Switch online. I may dip in for a month or 2 when Horizon 6 releases and play on the cloud (dependent on the gap between the PS5 release) but with all the changes and lack of exclusives that appeal to me, no real point in trying to keep up with 3 ecosystems at this point. Obv things can drastically change in the future but there's no pull to stay within the Xbox system for me at the moment,

@Dimey Tbh if you're Xbox is just gathering dust then that explains why you don't have gamepass so long and as this is an actual Xbox fan site id say it's safe to assume most would probably have subscribed to some sort of gamepass tier!

You can sort by name and change the tier on the left side of the page. Important note: Premium will get all first-party games within a year except Call of Duty.

I've been on Xbox Live since 360. Gamepass since 2018. I just completely canceled. If E-Day and Halo are elculsives (IF) I will purchase and just get core maybe.

Been an ultimate member since the get go. It’s really not worth the price increase for me. Don’t play Fortnite and Ubisoft hasn’t been relevant in years. Cloud gaming has also went down, you used to be able to screen mirror you Xbox and use touch controls to play, now you have to have a controller connect unless your playing a touch control game.
Side note I have found if your an EE customer you can get Xbox Ultimate for £14 a month which now makes that excellent value for money.

I will be switching from Ultimate to Essential. £22.99 per month is ridiculous even for Mr Stark (joke lol).

Joke aside, if you look at the raw numbers, it costs £275.88 to pay for Ultimate annually. If you subtract the £100 you get from Rewards then it becomes £175.88 which turns out to be less than paying £14.99 per month for 12 months.

I'm not defending the price hike but just giving an alternative view. If you still want to support it, it's not the worst idea.

As I said, I will be switching to Essential (to tackle my backlog and buy games that only interest me).

@Ricky-Spanish I also haven't had Game Pass in over a year. And I only had it then because when I upgraded my internet I got a code for a year's worth of GPU. Having Game Pass isn't a given, just because someone interacts with Xbox

So at the end of the day the CoD acquisition is being paid for by the ~50% price increase on Ultimate. The "value add" of CoD, Fortnite, and Ubi's bargain bin catalogue holds no sway with me.

To play devil's advocate, the potential of earning up to £100 of store rewards or whatever could, on paper, cover the price increase per year. Someone who thinks they're very clever but is in fact very cynical probably got a bonus for that. Place your bets on whether that scheme changes for the worse within 12 months.

When my prepaid sub is done (March '26) I will not be renewing Ultimate. It'll be middle tier at best, if anything at all. Happy to wait a year or so for the newest games, and thanks in advance to all of the early access testers on Ultimate. Happy to wait two years or so and just buy the GOTY edition of a few titles each year, the way I used to on PC before I picked up a Series X. I paid £300 for the console new a few years ago, and I've had good value out of it so far. The only way I can see myself getting good value out of it going forward is to drop a tier, or more likely to drop game pass entirely.

I empathise and sympathise with people over this. I am a single man so if I really wanted to continue subbing to it I could but you guys and gals with partners and children will find it hard and I feel for you.

Hopefully, Microsoft see the outrage and reverse course. This CANNOT continue on or the brand will die out in no time.

I’d exited Gamepass when AC Shadows came out because I realized given how little I play and how long it would take for me to beat games I paid full price for I was burning money with gamepass. Especially since I’d been paying full price the whole time. Resubbed this month simply because a few games I wanted for my bday had a nice gp discount and had thought about maybe keeping it for a month or two but then the day after I saw the price hike news. I will let it lapse again. As at this point it is cheaper to buy games normally given the small amount I buy on series x or PS5. My days of 50-100 games a year on Sony and MS systems are over. If I didn’t buy games and played a lot more I could see the value in the sub, but as is for me at least it is a waste. I still like the concept of gamepass but I have other things I can put my money towards. I’m also slightly moving away from gaming. So I am shrinking my focus to one or two systems.

On the Rewards topic, until now you got the same points on all tiers, with Ultimate having exclusive perks, like the expansion of Persona 3 Reload. Now, if you choose Ultimate, you are getting more points by playing and purchasing games, which is also worth consider. Regarding purchases, you get 20-30% discount for purchasing games and 4x points (credit) for getting more games in the future.

Ultimate subscribers can now earn up to $100 per year (100k points globally) in the Store just by playing games. With our upgraded Rewards program, players can get up to 30% value on select Game Pass games, with 4x points on purchases of games and add-ons, 10% back in points on select Game Pass library titles and add-ons, and up to 20% off select Game Pass games.

@Scrubchub Sometimes, the easiest way is to read the official sources. These articles are fine because they highlight different things and I'm sure the engagement is extremely high right now, but so many of them can be confusing!

GP Ultimate is a roughly 50% increase in Australia. Probably the same everywhere. That's a step to far. Will step down to the essential tier and continue to buy only what I need. MS slowly but surely losing their fanbase

I will stick with my current plan, which is no plan. I don't believe in Game Pass or PS Premium. Monthly subscriptions keep poor people poor. I have plenty of friends that look at the monthly cost of subscription services instead of the yearly cost. I don't play favorites. No one gets my money on a monthly basis. If I like a game, I buy it. If I want to watch movies, I watch them on Tubi, Youtube, Crackle, Pluto or go to my local library. My plan works for me. Vote with your wallet.

Ultimately I just want the ability to play day one games, cloud streaming was a nice extra, even EA Play was nice but with how much Ultimate is gone by, I'm struggling to justify it.

I do think the total amount of stuff they are giving is somewhere between fair and acceptable, but that sticker price.

It's like the company that makes my mini paints do this huge bundle that represents a massive saving but I can't afford to drop the 200 for it, regardless of just how good a deal iit is.

I picked up 10 games to own forever in the Steam Autumn Sale for the same $30 it would cost for 1 month of Ultimate.

I would rather continue to build my Steam library of nearly 1500 games in the seasonal sales than pay monthly for gamepass.

I'm good for the next three years and seven month with GPU. After that, we'll see.

@abe_hikura I said this yesterday, but if you or anyone else is interested in Ultimate and want to pay less, subscribe to Core/Essential. If you are currently subscribed to Ultimate, first let your subscription expire. When you subscribe to Core/Essential, you can use third-party codes. Once you are subscribed, you can convert your subscription to Ultimate up to a maximum of 36 months. The conversion ratio used to be 50%. Now is 40%, so the difference is minimal and the price of Core/Essential has not changed, so it's an excellent deal!

I canceled. I don’t play Fortnight, not a huge fan of Ubisoft games, and don’t do online multiplayer. So for me, it’ll be cheaper to just buy the 4-5 Xbox games that I may play annually.

But the actual reason I canceled isn’t financial; I could absorb the price increase if I wanted to, but I find it to be insulting.

I'm not cancelling per say because I'm stacked until Dec 2027....but I honestly likely won't be extending that time anymore so I'm looking to cancel? It all depends on what hardware comes out in that time and what I'm able to do. But i feel like I'll be dipping out of gamepass and just buying stuff on sale....on a PC console? No idea... just know this is very frustrating and really makes you feel like you're being kicked out of your ecosystem by a greedy landlord who's doing renovations no one asked for.

@abe_hikura Exactly. If you try to expand your Ultimate subscription before it expires using a Core/Essential code, you get a warning with the conversion ratio for extending Ultimate, which is significantly lower. Thus, you need your subscription to expire first for the good deal.

Another important thing to know is that Microsoft codes don't expire, so you can buy them before you are ready to use them.

Also important: each code card has a region, so you need a code card for your region, unless it says "worldwide". On Loaded, this is very clear. I would buy the 1-year codes which are the best value. Example from Loaded: "Xbox Game Pass Core - 12 Month Membership (WW)"

I canceled. My renewal was today. With that timing I could had stuck to the current rate for the rest of the year but I don’t see a reason to keep giving them my money when chances are I won’t have time to take advantage of it anyways.

This is also making me reconsider my Rog Xbox Ally X preorder. There are still some advantages but without gamepass… it’s way less appealing since I can play most things on my steam deck, and those I can’t I can play on my PC.

I’ll still pick it up but chances are high I’ll return it.

@Markatron84 I got extremely lucky recently and won a gaming laptop competition so got an Acer Predator 50 series laptop for free. It's kinda made me think about switching entirely over to PC to be honest.

As with any subscription service each person must assess whether they feel it is worth it for themselves. If not cancel. If it is then you pay the price of the subscription.

I have looked it over and have decided it works for me. Still way less expensive then buying the games and they constantly release new games that I may have bought in the past. So for me it is worth it. Others have to decide on their own.

@PartyMarty oh nice!! I'm rocking an Intel i9 and RTX 4080; not the top of the line machine it used to be but it still runs most things I throw at it on max settings at 4K/60, and the few outliers at 1440p. Yours is an absolute beast though.

@Markatron84 it was specifically the Acer Predator Helios Neo 18 AI that I got which has an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX, 32GB RAM, RTX 5070 TI Laptop GPU in it.
I've not been in the PC gaming side of things since the mid 2000's when playing WoW when it came out so I'm really rusty when it comes to making sure it's doing what it should be for me. But up to now I've relied on the Nvidia recommended settings for the games I've installed on it haha

Ultimate stacked for another 5 months until March and then I’ll probably be sticking to Essential thereafter I think just for the online multiplayer.

I'll stick to the middle tier (price is too high for things I didn't ask for - such as Fortnite and Ubi+) for now. That said, if they bring in the family and friends plan, I'll probably move to the top tier again.

My Sub is until April 2026 so once that lapses, I'm done.

My GPU runs out in 6 months. I will not be renewing.
I'm not paying Microsoft $120 per year just to play online games(the lowest GP tier), so I'll be switching to Playstation for online play.

Got 2 years of GPU built up through rewards points. Will keep earning them. But GPU is not something I use enough to warrent paying for. So will probably leave in a few years time. I'm not sure if I'll bother getting the new Xbox. I have no interest in steam or PC gaming in general. So it's big selling point is not of interest to me.

I'm good for 2+ years. Regardless, I would not be leaving; the price would have to jump way higher, and they can't hit that level safely.

For the record, I agree that the 50% jump was abrupt and clumsy. Personally, $10 a month is negligible, but a company can't make such a huge jump in a service price without friction and turmoil. Better to split it up "$3, $3, $3" or "$5, $5" over years.

Microsoft has effectively killed Xbox to me and I'll be sure the only time I pick up anything from them is when it is on a steep steam discount.

I don’t play Call of Duty, or Fortnite and the Ubisoft classics adds nothing I already don’t own that I was interested in. So really the price hike does nothing for me at all so I will move down a tier to Premium and buy the games I am wanting most, like Outer Worlds 2, and wait on the others to come to the sub that I am fine with waiting for, like Keeper and Ninja Gaiden 4. It sucks because Ultimate was such a great deal but oh well, most of the games I am playing haven’t even been GP games anyways (Borderlands 4, Dying Light The Beast, Metal Eden, Helldivers 2) and really out of all the games I was planning to get coming up here Outer Worlds 2 was the only GP game I was gong to play right off the bat. So no dramatics from me but it does suck to see the value in GPU diminish.

I'm done with it. I've been loyal to the Microsoft and the Xbox for 24 years, and even put up with the price hike last year, but this is a step too far, so I'm done with it.

I'm letting my 3 year subscription run down. Reward points now for Amazon vouchers. Not the end of the world as I've got so many games it's scary and don't play multiplayer online anymore.

I'll stick with Core(Essential now) and grabbed another year. I was done with Ultimate either way.

I let mine lapse a year ago with the idea of doing the occasional dip-in month, this just cements that that dipping in won't be happening.

The ultimate plan is just too expansive for what I will play, I dont like Fortnite and the Ubisoft offer is not what I want to play. And the EA offer is not m'y type of Games either so I think the premium Will be enough for me, I have a big backlog and I rarely play Games day one when they launch.

I already downgraded to Core after their last price hike, now I'm going to downgrade to no subscription at all.

MS leadership now have no interest in gammers they see us as cattle to be milk or discarded and their actions lately show us they could not give a ***** if we stay or go, if you stay after this, I am not sure what they need to do to make you upset.

However they will really a magical next generation machine and some truly epic AAA games to keep at the new higher cost.

Riding out my pre-paid cheap Ultimate sub end of 2026 in some form (with or without a Series X and) on a PC.

Very unlikely I'll switch to PC GamePass again, $17 is a bit more than I think it's worth and by end of 2026 PC GamePass could be either $25-$30 or loose day one games anyways. Also I want to take note that Ubisoft+ and Fortnite Crew as added "value" is straight up insulting. Ah yes 2 ($25-$30 on sale to keep) AAA games worth of value and some skin to a multiplayer game. LMAO

I'm kind of just soured of the brand even though I liked the controller, the hardware, PlayAnywhere, the dashboard, VRR, Dolby/DTS support, and a decent attempt to keep Series X disc games at the start of the generation. Nice while it lasted.

My subscription lapsed and will not be renewed.

After 20 plus years of Xbox live/gold etc Im calling it a day as the subscription is just too expensive. I may occasionally pick up the odd month around Christmas or holidays if something peaks my interest but as of mid October when my subscription lapses that's it.

It's been a good run.

I only use Gamepass PC these days, and even at that I use it sparingly. Funnily enough I had cancelled my monthly subscription earlier that morning before the announcement but this is something I regularly do - take it when I want it and cancel it when I don't. I'll probably still continue to do that.

It's a killer for console gamers though, it's actually a ***** outrage and the backlash is justified in my opinion.

I’m out, completely. This simply isn’t a good deal no more. Xbox hardware isn’t a good deal either. I’m jumping ship to PC. I was planning to do so for a while now, but couldn’t pull the trigger. This was the straw that broke the camel’s back.

Sticking with it. I don't like a price increase but I play a lot of games through gamepass even on PC. Most of my gaming is done though gamepass. It saves me a lot of money. £15 is one year old low tier second hand game.

Where I live in Dubai, cloud gaming doesn’t exist.

I had gamespass ultimate but honestly I don’t know why. I played fifa online and other than that probably only played forza horizon. However, I kept it as I played more fifa online than anything else.

However, this year’s fifa absolutely SUCKS and is like pinball online.

So I haven’t even bought it and at the moment I’m seriously considering cancelling.

I have cancelled Gamepass some months ago, since I don’t play online games, and my backlog is considerable big. I was planning on subscribing for Persona 4 and Ninja Gaiden 4, but at that price for a subscription I’d rather just buy them.

@lechugajr Yeah probaly exactly there plan, get rid of those they don't make profit from get a bit more from those they doe, Fun while it lasted though 😂

@Blue_Rover Do you mind me asking how you downgraded? My Ultimate expires next month, but when I go to cancel, it basically says 'We can't cancel your subscription. It will expire automatically.'

Think on the whole the are just losing people who aren't really xbox fans or don't have time to play many games in which case it's not really a service made for them. i could do without the price raise though 😂

My son definitely uses it more than me. He says he will finish about 2 games a month. So between that and the discounts we get buying games, it's definitely been useful so far. However, he's starting college, he has a girlfriend and he plans on starting to work. So he won't be finishing 2 games a month anymore, which means maybe Ultimate may not be for us for much longer.
That said, this seems to be the current business plans for big companies: trying to see how high they can go where people are willing to pay whatever they ask without the complaints affecting the overall business. Disney is doing it with the parks, WWE is doing with tickets…

@Blue_Rover Ah well. Yeah, I turned off auto renew too. I'll just let it expire and sub to Essential.

Auto renew is off and November will the my last month. 100% switching to PC / Steam. I wonder people moving to Steram will buy any game from PC Xbox store. MSFT needs Xbox consoles to guarantee Xbox store sales. 0 reason buy games on PC Xbox store.

My plan is to leave a comment asking Pure Xbox to stop making gamepass related articles, on every gamepass related article.

First off, I want to state that Game Pass Ultimate, as it is now, is a fantastic value. Game Pass Ultimate, as it's becoming, is not an outright rip-off, but it's definitely not a bargain. It's only worth it if you play a TON of different games all the time.

Back to what i think i said before, i get it if you finances were tight but and extra fiver and month in the uk, what a Fuss is being made 😂😂😂

Been an GPU subscriber since I got my Series X at launch. However I’ve spent most of my time playing titles I own / buy instead of playing the GPU titles…. I don’t use cloud gaming, just remotely play my stuff on Xbox through my Steam Deck. After evaluating everything I’ve decided to cancel for now. May sub again in the future if I play with friends or something, but lately I’ve been playing single player stuff, so I don’t see the reason to stay subbed.

It’s still a great value to a lot of players, and if I didn’t buy every game I wanted to play, then it would be more worth it to me.

It's sad. I've gamed more this year than I have in the past 5-6 years, and I credit that to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. I thought the service provided great value, but at an additional $10 a month, I don't know if I'll continue past when it's time to renew.

@Titntin Fair Play then, i do use it a lot but dropped one of my young adults to keep mine (he's got a girlfriend so doesn't game as much as he used to, ah those were the days 😂) nothing's getting any cheaper

29.99 a month what a joke but I cancelled my game pass months ago I have a big library of games both Physical and digital looks like Microsoft is trying to push everyone away and if they are their doing a good job of it !

Sticking with ultimate. No matter what it's a great offer. And for everyone who says they're cancelling it immediately.... I have doubt. Go start a post on Reddit and show proof of everyone cancelling ***immediately***. And not just waiting for a payment relapse.

I think I’ll be sticking with GPU for now, but will see how I feel about its value at some point next year. Can see myself downgrading to Premium, but no plans to cancel my membership altogether.

I’m disappointed with the amount it’s gone up (an increase was inevitable though), and have no interest in U+ classics or Fortnite, so not really getting the vaunted ‘extra value’!

I'm good until May. I'll use that time to buy some of the games on GP I'd like to keep when they go on sale.. There's a few GwG games I have that are not available anymore that I've yet to play, so I'll work through those until May. I havr a backlog of well over 200 games, and as little I I get to play, I'm good for a while.

Ultimate subbed till july 26, been eith gamepass since it launched in 2017 and its been fantastic value. I'll see how it goes next year. I dont game as much now as I used too. This might be my last machine. 45 now, is it time to put the toys away?

@Titntin I'll admit to being swept up in the ABK acquisition hype. I'll also fully admit that it was stupid of me to not see the bigger picture.

I am sticking with it….with this caveat…..I had my membership stacked until June 2027. I bought three more months @ $20 per month on Amazon and might buy a few more months from GameStop. After they expire I am unsure if I will continue.

Omg some of y'all need to grow up. Vote with your wallet and spare us your incessant wailing sorrows about leaving. We all knew a price jump was coming since the merger. If you didn't, you were naive.

I downgraded because the new GPU is not a good fit for me. Thats it. I'm not throwing a tantrum or burning my console because a company that doesn't care about gamers is moving to recoup the billions they spent buying up devs. I've sure loved a lot of the things they've done these last few years but at no point was I deluded into thinking this was for me as the customer. MS (and Sony) are about making money.

@MTR54 Thanks mate. I've now downgraded to Essential which should start in November when my Ultimate expires. I've also purchased a few games I regularly play too.
