It's one of the best games of the last few years. An absolute gem.

Won't be playing it on gamepass tho.

I bought it a while back it's decent enough but not my type of game I never finished it 🤷

I bought it last year and liked it. Will put some more time into it now that I am free from the burden that was Gamepass…

I already played it when it came out. But it’s 3 years old at this point. If I’d waited, I’m sure I’d be excited… but it sells for like $15 now doesn’t it?

Loving it so far. Going the traditional Gryffindor hero route but kind of wish I would’ve gone Ravenclaw or Slytherin.

Qne of my favorite games from the last few years. Really, really fun. I've got all the Achievements too, but maybe I could play it one more time.

As fun as the first 5 Harry Potter books were, I've never liked the aesthetics of the films that have seeped into every extension of the franchise since. But then, I also don't love Jo Rowling's politics, and considering that all my friends are some level of queer I'd honestly rather play The Lord of The Rings: Gollum over this.

Played it on PS5 when it released. I never completed it but I enjoyed what I played.

No. Never read the books or watched the films so certainly have no interest in playing any games based on the franchise.

@Vordus I read all the books, watched all the films; really enjoyed them and the world Rowling built. Then, like with yourself, her politics ruined it for me.

I would love to play Hogwarts Legacy, but I can't bring myself to do so knowing that any money I spend on it helps further her abhorrent goals. My oldest friend (of 37 years) is a trans woman. I don't begrudge anyone playing it, as long as they know what they're funding and can say with conviction that they're ok with that; that way, I know to keep them at arm's length.

Watched my wife play a lot of it back when it came out but this genre is not for me. My two favorite people in the world are my wife and daughter so I was very happy to fund this.

I'm not a harry potter fan but I loved the game ,played it when it was released and completed it ( after waiting for them to fix achievements ), I'd play it again on series x version but unfortunately it hasn't got separate achievement lists

I played, and enjoyed, the game upon release. I won't be playing it again any time soon, and for me it was a pretty pointless addition to Game Pass...

Recently bought it on Switch for about £11. Liked HP 20 years ago but ambivalent towards it now, and that’s probably how I feel about the game. It has a cosy feel and I can see a lot of HP fans loving it, but it didn’t grab me.

@Markatron84 That’s been my approach. I know some folks don’t have a problem with it because of either reasonable or abhorrent reasons, but I’m also not a censorship fan. I like to allow someone’s actions to speak for them. Sadly, I loved HP growing up but have too many people in my life affected by the really predatory/creepy and unhinged war the author is on.

As for the game itself, it looks fantastic and I have friends who have procured it by less than scrupulous means tell me that it’s one of WB’s best in a while. I really hope that those who have played it do experience the joy I did as a young person with the series. That also being said, I would love to see WB borrow this engine and style for other fantasy games. It looks solid and could serve as inspiration for other franchises.

I bought Hogwarts Legacy a couple of months and finished it. I have to say, although I wasn't a harry Potter fan, I really enjoyed the game. The game is fantastic and one of the best games released this generation in my opinion

Really don't feel like rewarding Warner for their behavior of late in any way, and that's not said as a judgment of anyone who enjoys this game.

Plus, there's everything that @Vordus, @Markatron84, and @EvilBear said rather well. A person of power and means going out of their way to campaign against marginalized and vulnerable people is... well, it's a lot of things. None of which are desirable to me, but I'm not a cartoon villain or a rampaging warlord or an author-turned-turd-golem, so what do I know?

Picked it up for my daughter when it first released, she loved it. Me? Ill not bother. Couldn't give a hoot for Harry Potter

So stop talking about it unless you literally are reporting a rollback of prices. Making that adjustment to your content will demonstrate to readers that you are up to speed in the world of Xbox Gaming.
