Just under a week ago, it was leaked that Plants Vs. Zombies: Replanted would be coming to Xbox on October 23rd, 2025, and that's exactly what's been announced today as part of the July 2025 Nintendo Direct showcase.

The game, as mentioned in an IGN interview, is being classed as a "definitive remaster" of the original Plants Vs. Zombies - a title that that made its debut for Xbox 360 back in September 2010 during the Xbox Live Arcade era.

This time around, we're getting improved visuals, new local co-op and PVP options, concept art and a couple of new game modes. There's a budget price for this one as well, with the game launching at $19.99 across all platforms.

We'll throw more details about PvZ: Replanted down below ahead of its October release on Xbox:

"We’re going back to where it all began. 🌻 A familiar lawn. A familiar threat. A whole lot of nostalgia. This new PvZ experience is a tribute to the classics. The same charm, chaos, and sun-powered defense you know and love. Whether you grew up with Peashooters or just met Crazy Dave, this one's for the fans.🎬 Watch the reveal and get ready to replant your roots."
