Marvel's Blade Director Shares Brief End Of 2025 Update On The Game's Progress

It's been a long time since we last heard anything about Bethesda's upcoming Xbox first-party game Marvel's Blade, but one of the game's directors has shared a brief update on its progress as we come to the end of 2025.

Responding to someone on social media, director Dinga Bakaba advised that the development team is "hard at work" on Marvel's Blade at the moment and "out doing themselves". Nevertheless, he asks fans to be patient for it.

It's not much, but at least we've heard something official on the progress of this game! Very little has been said since it was first revealed back in late 2023, and to be honest it sounds like it's still a few years away, considering it only entered full production last year — or at least, that's what appears to be the case.

Perhaps we shouldn't go expecting too many details about Marvel's Blade in 2026, then, although it'd be great to get some kind of update at the Xbox Games Showcase in the summer. Let's hope it'll end up being the "special" experience that Bakaba envisions.
