Anyone fancy another surprise Game Pass addition? It's been announced this weekend that Quarantine Zone: The Last Check will be joining PC Game Pass on January 12th, which makes it a "day one" release on the service.

Developed by Brigada Games and published by indie giant Devolver Digital, Quarantine Zone: The Last Check sees you commanding a checkpoint and trying to identify signs of infection in the midst of a zombie outbreak.

"Command the checkpoint in a collapsing city. Screen survivors, manage scarce resources, and hold back the undead. Every your choice matters and one mistake could unleash the plague beyond your walls."

The news of Quarantine Zone's PC Game Pass inclusion was randomly shared by the official Xbox Game Pass account on Twitter yesterday, confirming that the "day one" launch would coincide with a PCGP arrival on Monday the 12th.

We'll circle back around on Monday with details of all three Game Pass titles confirmed for next week (which includes Star Wars Outlaws), but for now, here's more information along with screenshots for Quarantine Zone: The Last Check!

Use high-tech tools to uncover signs of infection among the terrified survivors. Identify contraband, forbidden items, and even rare collectables as you work to keep your checkpoint secure. Send those with suspicious symptoms to quarantine for observation, to the lab for additional screening, or save healthy survivors by sending them to the living block. And those who show to be infected… well, they don't stand a chance anyway.

As the survivor population swells, you’ll be relied upon to provide essentials such as power, food, and medicine. When the alarms are raised, pilot armed drones to ensure the infected don’t breach the compound. The better you manage your ever-expanding base, the more resources, tools, and weapon upgrades you’ll unlock.
