I’m not one of those 6 million buyers, but nonetheless I think we should jut wait for PlayStation only reporting sites to tell us how BF6 did on each platform, before drawing our own conclusions 😅😅.

Eventually I will but not now. I very rarely buy games at launch and full price. BF6 is definitely not one of those rare occasions.

Yep, I ask myself the same question very often 😅.
Anyway, I can see a scenario were they'll eventually release the game on Xbox, then by that time the buzz would have died down, people moved on and the developers would just blame the platform because it sold poorly.

I'm looking forward to this one. Hopefully I'll be all wrapped up with Veilguard, which is fantastic in my opinion 🙂.

You can’t seriously expect an 11 hours long campaign in a game where probably 80% of buying player base are mainly interested in mp and where EA will make the most of its greens.

Playstation players will get more XP than PC and Xbox, apparently it's 15% for Playstation and 10% for Xbox and PC

Definitely interested, and if this turns out to be a hybrid console/pc that can play my existing library, full BC and play Steam releases too , then I’m getting it.
If it’s crazy expensive, I’ll just buy this one console rather than the usual Xbox/Playstation combo like I do every generation.

Nah I'm good, Bungie can eat sand for all I care. If any other studio would have stolen art assets to the degree Bungie's done for Marathon, it would have killed the game development by now. Alas...

This is very sad to see and looks like the gaming industry is a really, really savage place to work in.
I played their game on GamePass and later bought it too. Hopefully they'll land on their feet and all the best in their future endeavours.

Glad is coming to Xbox, but Konami took exclusivity money so they'll get nothing from until the game it's on a steep discount, likewise with Squeenix or/and every publisher/developer who is still engaged in the practice. I'm likely in a very tiny minority but that's my stance..

Game Pass Ultimate members are benefiting quite a lot from the change

I'm quite happy to see Microsoft making this change since GamePass Ultimate subscribers bear the brunt of the price hike. Also I keep seeing people complaining about Rewards being nerfed and how it was possible to have years worth of subbing for basically free, being upset now. Did Sony or Nintendo ever had/have something remotely as generous as MS Rewards? Seems to not matter there...

I'm staying subscribed for the time being and especially if I can still get the 3 months stackable membership from the likes of CDKeys. There is still great value for me to be a GamePass Ultimate member for the foreseeable future ( that can off course change very quickly if Microsoft can't control their insatiable f@king greed).

I better start looking at deals on Loaded (CD Keys) for GamePass Ultimate, because even though I love the service it's just no way I'm paying £23 monthly..

In addition, we found out during the show that Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is coming to PS5

I think this will do very good with the PlayStation community, and especially the people who invested in PSVR. This game will be a big (needed) shot in the arm for the peripheral.

Don't bother dignifying them with an answer mate. They made their mission to do two things at every opportunity:
a) hate on GamePass
b) to hate on Xbox Series S

Good point. I'm just struggling to see who else within XGS could/would work on it. Perhaps Obsidian(?), they made Alpha Protocol (seems like eons ago) a game I liked and have a soft spot for😁. But they seem to have their hands full too.

The Perfect Dark reboot story gets more and more intriguing.
After 5 years with only a vertical slice of gameplay to show for it, (albeit awesome imo) Microsoft decides to close the studio and cancel the game. Now, Take Two who had a publishing labe named Private Division which they sold not long ago and was set up precisely for projects like PD, now wants to purchase the IP from Microsoft. The gaming industry is really wild at times...
Microsoft should get Machine Games to make PD. They've done great work with Indy.

Curious. It took the devs one extra year of development to release a game that looks worse than it does on Sony's system. I think I'll just wait for the mythical Sun Wukong's birthday🤣🤣,in exactly one year and se how the game looks by then...if nothing else, it'll be cheaper at least.

If indeed Japan will be the next place for FH then I can already see PX giving it a 10 on the locales alone, seeing as FH5 was basically deducted points due to not having a Japan setting 😅😅.

This is so far removed from what made the original MW a very good game that it’s beyond parody now 😅. In the eyes and opinions of these former Sony execs (see both, Shuhei and Shawn) the only good thing for the game industry and developers is if I buy my games at £70 or £80, and other options that offers me value (GamePass), the opportunity to play a plethora of different game genres big or small is a big no, no. I have to finish Rogue City first and as a big AC fan I'll definitely play Mirage too.

I'm very happy for Grounded 2 and Obsidian. They are great game makers that deserve to be successful and with Switch 2 and PS5 versions still to come it bodes well for them.

His last two games weren't exactly mainstream either, yet plenty folks seem to like them for being different. I'll definitely be trying out whatever OD turns out to be.
