Most excellent. Ill be getting the upgrade, looks like having this digitally is an advantage here (although I'm not even sure if Xbox even has the games on physical).

I used Gaming Copilot for a little bit and I like it. It will definitely get a great deal of use from me.

I think we need to draw our own conclusions when comparing priorities between the AI push and Xbox within Microsoft.
PlayStation and Nintendo are extremely important revenue makers for their parent corporations when compared to Xbox directly...

And that is perfectly fine. Not everything works for everyone, I’m in the same boat on whatever I’ll buy the next console from Sony, in light of the noises Microsoft are making about having multiple storefronts on their next machine.
I’m trying to leave the walled garden ecosystems behind and I’m hoping the next Xbox will allow me to do just that.

I really, really want to believe Sarah and Microsoft. But why do that(?), when the Internet is choke full of deranged takes about how Microsoft are leaving the hardware business, blah, blah, etc, ad infinitum🤦‍♂️😅.

I came to the comments thread for the cynicism, overly negative comments and downright depressive Xbox takes. So far I’m not disappointed 😂.
I sincerely hope Microsoft will fully oblige them…. so the same people can endlessly complain.

This was always my opinion too. When GT7 launched it was nothing to shout about compared to the game it later became with continuous support. I guess the difference between the two games is one is made by Sony , the other by Microsoft.
I still play FM regularly, and think it's a great racer.

I'm waiting for Microsoft to reveal details on the next-gen Xbox, before I even consider one of these. Nonetheless, whatever I'll be purchasing / going with, it won't be the traditional walled garden console model. I do like the form factor of this though.

Since I only played three games from the list, I’m going:
1. Expedition 33
2. Indiana Jones
3. Blue Prince

I went with a 9. The closest thing I can loosely compared it to would be Jurney, which was one of my favourite games of the PS3 generation.Loved the environmental storytelling in both games.

I'm'm currently level 9 in Outer Worlds 2 on a Very Hard run, and very much enjoying the game

Just a quick question on the dificulty setting. If you choose the very hard option after the character creation and start the game, it seems to revert to normal when you check the game setting menu. Looks to be a bug(?) or something, so it worth checking before going to the intro space station that is still the very hard setting to avoid disappointment😉. It happened to me with the hard setting.

I wonder if they'll do something similar to what Sony done with the TLOU ps5 remasters with neither game having mp (I know the second game never shiped with one) and charging around £50 or the ps4 upgrade path for existing owners.

I hope this is true, especially for Halo 3. The gameplay is fantastic but it aged terribly. Fingers crossed.

The store is down (here in UK) but my daughter is playing Pacific Drive and it's working fine.
Hopefully it'll get resolved soon. A few days ago in was AWS which had issues. All of this technology and it's interdependence on a number factors is bound to have problems from time to time.

I have to respectfully disagree, since we are not currently comparing streaming services, but actual hardware. And with hardware there will always be differences, and quality of life improvements, etc to choose one over the other.

Not really, it's not like Xbox was somehow doing gangbusters. People are/were not interested in Xbox, so Microsoft had to change strategy. Xbox will live on but Under different guise.

Well what’s the point of Samsung, Huawei, Motorola and another bunch of competing mobile phones manufacturers when arguably Apple are or were top dog/brand? There will always be a point for people to prefer an electronic device over other available options, no?

As an owner of a PS5 I'm covered for the few franchises I'm interested in from ND and SM. But there are plenty Xbox folk who would play some of their sp games if tha would ever come to pass.

Yes, it may well be a very capable piece of kit, but it will likely also be the cost of a PS6 and a Series X

I hear you old timer 😉, but I think we have to wait and see how Sony will price their next-gen iteration in the absence of any competition in the high end walled garden console ecosystem. You of course might be right, but I'm not so sure.

Oh man, you needed to be there. Experiencing the landing on the Halo ring for the first time, or fighting alongside the marines and trying to keep them alive on The silent cartographer beach landing were truly monumental😁.
The graphics, the sound design, soundtrack, the enemies a.i., were all a generation ahead of what I was playing on PS2 at the time.

All of this additions sound wonderful, and I Can't Wait to experience it again. Looks fantastic too.

Halo and Half Life are two of my favourite franchises ever. I have finished the game twice on Legendary just to watch a few extra seconds of cutscenes at the end of the game😅

This is Legendary stuff...

Looks like BF6 has given them a really good kick up the derrière. I'll check this out to see how it plays compared to BO6 mp.

If it's any consolation, Eurogamer gave it 4 stars in their review (great read too) and Ghost of Yotei got 3 stars ...you know, to balance out the 9 it got from Pushsquare😉

An excellent month. There is so much variety on GamePass and it's one of the main reasons I love the service.
Just topped up another 15 months of GamePass Ultimate for just under £10 a month, still great value in GPU I think.

The same author posted another Xbox related article (bout an hour ago), seemingly about Microsoft's exclusivity strategy or rather the lack thereof. Which I suspect will drive more traffic than most articles about Sony exclusives....got to feed the console wars fire I gues😅.

Like someone else mentioned in another post, if the next gen Xbox will be an open platform, then I'm willing to pay premium for it, ( pretty much done) with supporting walled garden systems)

Also instead of having hardware from both, Microsoft and Sony, I'll just go with Microsoft, still, there are a lot of unknowns about this device. Fingers crossed..

As any Ninja Gaiden veteran will know, the difficulty of this series is a defining trait and in the fourth outing it extends to four options once the story mode is completed

There goes the likelihood of me getting the full 1000G in this game😅.
Although in my younger days I did manage to complete NG Black on hard, so I'll give this a good go too😁.

I don't know, maybe this is just me, but with 50+ games a month (don't know what the average is in general), how can this industry have sustainability in the long term. When both, play time and players are finite things?

Ahhh, Lies of P. Such a great game. I'm waiting for a sale on the Overture DLC to jump back in. According to my stats on the game I've put in 7d, 18h, and 38m. It's nuts, because I can't remember putting this much time in any FromSoft title.
