Xbox Games Showcase 2026: Date, Start Times, What To Expect & More

Here we go again! June marks the arrival of the Xbox Games Showcase for 2026, which is the biggest event in the calendar year for Xbox fans. This is where we expect Xbox to reveal the most major announcements of 2026, so you definitely don't want to miss it! Fortunately, we've got all the details you need to know.

In our Xbox Games Showcase 2026 guide, you'll find information on the date, start time for various regions including the UK and US, what to expect, and how you can watch the show here at Pure Xbox!

Xbox Games Showcase 2026: Date

The official date of the Xbox Games Showcase 2026 is Sunday, June 7th.

In some countries such as Australia and Japan, this translates to June 8th.

Xbox Games Showcase 2026: What's Confirmed So Far?

At the time of writing, the only confirmed game for the showcase so far is Gears of War: E-Day, which is the featured game in the 'Direct' part of the event. That Gears of War: E-Day Direct will follow the main broadcast.

Xbox Games Showcase 2026: How Long Is It?

We're expecting the Xbox Games Showcase to last around two hours (including the Gears of War: E-Day Direct).

Xbox Games Showcase 2026: How To Watch

You can watch the Xbox Games Showcase in a variety of locations, including here at Pure Xbox! We'll be hosting the 4K, 60FPS version of the show on the website, as well as running a live chatroom for PX members to discuss it.

If you'd rather watch the show elsewhere, it'll be live on Xbox's YouTube, Twitch and Facebook channels.

Xbox Games Showcase 2026: Rumours & Leaks

At least at the time of writing, the vast majority of Xbox Games Showcase 2026 reveals are being kept under wraps. We already know what to expect from some of it, such as new reveals for the likes of Fable, Gears of War: E-Day, Halo: Campaign Evolved and the next Call of Duty game, but there's nothing particularly surprising in that bunch.

In terms of leaks, rumours and unconfirmed appearances for the event so far, things have been very quiet this year, we must admit. There's a chance that we see/hear more about Project Helix here, but that chance seems very slim right now, based on what we know about the device and its release schedule thus far.

In terms of everything else, who knows! We're open to being surprised and would love to see the majority of the event stay under wraps until we all see it live. We did talk about some dream reveals recently though, which you can check out down below alongside our Gears of War: E-Day Direct wishlist:

What About The 'Extended' Xbox Showcase?

Just like last year, it seems that Xbox won't be running an Xbox Games Showcase "Extended" event for 2026 like they used to in the past. We do know that Xbox FanFest is set to return this year with multiple events though - hopefully the main showcase gives us some more details on that program.

As you'd expect, we'll be keeping an eye out for these and will share any major news from them, if there is any.

Is There Anything Else I Need To Know?

For those who don't want to watch the Xbox 2026 Showcase all the way through, we'll obviously have a full recap here at Pure Xbox along with individual stories for all the big announcements, so rest assured you won't miss anything.
