The platforms for this one are Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC, and the bombshell announcement is that it will be an Xbox console exclusive. That means no PS5 version, and the same goes for Switch 2.
Of course, Gears of War: E-Day is the previously-announced prequel to the original Gears of War from 2007, focusing on the characters of Marcus Fenix and Dom Santiago as they face the "new nightmare" of the Locust Horde.
Today's Xbox Game Showcase also contains its own separate showcase specifically for Gears of War: E-Day, the footage of which you can see down below. This is definitely going to be a must-play in just a few months' time!
