Fable Gets Rated In Multiple Regions Ahead Of 2026 Xbox Release

Playground currently has Fable planned out for a late 2026 release right now, but ahead of the Xbox Games Showcase next month, we don't have any launch information beyond that. However, rumours that the team wants to avoid GTA 6 in November have been rife, and now some new ratings have popped up online for the Xbox RPG .

Shared on Reddit earlier today, it appears that Fable has been rated in both Korea and Australia. Neither of these ratings give us a more concrete release date or anything just yet, but they at least show that the game is coming along nicely and we should be looking at a matter of months now, rather than anything much longer than that.

So, our question now is, will Xbox manage to release Fable significantly ahead of GTA 6? Take-Two this week doubled down on Rockstar's November 19th release, so it stands to reason that Fable has to be aiming for September or October at the latest to beat that other open-world juggernaut. Today's ratings give us fresh hope that they might be able to cross the finish line first.

That's only a glimmer hope for now though, we must admit. Still, Playground has again been active on social media as of late, reminding folks of the cross-platform nature of Fable ahead of its launch at some point this year.

When do you think Fable is launching now that it's been rated in multiple regions? Kick a chicken and let us know down below.
