Good to see, and hopefully Bethesda will keep supporting the game. Starfield has it's flaws and is not for everyone, but for what is worth I love it.

I like what I'm reading on project Helix and my interest in owning one keeps growing. Better start saving up for it😁.
Like someone else mentioned it, I wonder if the Series X version of GtaVI will get some enhancements on Helix. Might turn out to be one of the better ways to play it..

It's such a shame other developers lack Bungie's wisdom, and don't ask critics to review their games weeks or months(?) later once fully patched and with added content,that <strong>was missing from the paid release</strong>. Christ on a bike, you can't make up 🤦‍♂️..

Meh, this changes nothing for me personally. I have a PS5 if I really want to play their first-party games ((edit: which with a very few exceptions, I don't).

However, one of the reasons I want Xbox to become a more open platform with multiple store fronts is the huge selection of games that the PC has and for the third-party timed exclusivity games that usually Sony money-hats for PS and PC first, then Xbox getting them waaaay later, if at all.
Fingers crossed Xbox will stay the course for a hybrid next gen console.

They probably thought to pass the baton over to Marathon.😉... On more serious note, looks like whatever is propping this industry up it's starting to buckle.

As the article points out, those are all great things that Phil Spencer has done, even if (perhaps) some are taken for granted today.

His vision for the next-gen console as a more open platform was/is also great in my opinion and I hope the new head will see it through.

I want full backwards and forward compatibility of my Xbox library, and an open store fronts system. In short, I was/I'm a much bigger fan of Spencer's vision for the next gen Xbox. They need to differentiate from Sony's and Nintendo's offerings.

You're are probably right, as Spencer did take a lot of the blame for decisions that were made by people above him. He was the most recognisable face of Xbox for such a long time, and also engaged/active with the community.
Big role to fill for the new head of Xbox.

I just seen the news, this looks like a major, major change. For both Spencer and Bond to leave its a bit of a shock for me.
I liked Spencer and the direction he had for Xbox and I think he'll be missed when all of this settles down.
For the first time since I've bought the original Xbox more than two decades ago, I have a feeling of some uncertainty about where all this leads.
Perhaps I should start playing my PS5 more often and continue building my library there, but Sony's latest actions don't exactly feel me with confidence either..

Edit: Last year, Phil Spencer made the decision to retire from the company.
I hope this quote holds true and that Spencer wasn't pushed/forced into retirement. Anyway, I think he'll be missed 😔.

In fairness this is a bit of a non news article 😉. To put it in perspective, Xbox owners had to wait 5 YEARS!! before the FF7 remake was allowed on the platform (and that was a third party money-hat), are people really expecting or hoping that Sony will put a first party single player title on Xbox? I mean really??😀

Oh boy! I remember buying this on release day, the hype levels for the game were insane, and than I stated playing... Yeah, there's a decent stealth game buried in between Kojima's off the charts self indulging crazy cutscenes , but man was I disappointed 😅. I'm sure it has its fans though, so Konami setting it free from the PS3 is a good thing.

I'm worried about the people who work in Microsoft's gaming division with this news. Let's hope Microsoft won't go crazy again with the layoffs.

Maybe they'll reveal a snippet of its form factor this year, but beyond that I doubt it. As for specs and other capabilitie(?), personally can't see it but it's Microsoft we're talking about here😁....

The pipe line from XGS for this year is stacked already, and hopefully this will allow InXile the time needed to bring their vision to fruition. One for next-gen next year 😉

Everything InXile are saying and have shown of Clockwork Revolution makes it sound great. And know with immersive sims elements makes it even better. These studios are starting to hit their strides. Look forward to play this.

But why would they* be disappointed at all, let alone a great deal?
It's not like the games you mention are timed exclusive to PS. These games will benefit from a bigger community (hopefully), and Xbox owners loose nothing. But that's just me of course 🤷..

Yeah there's always a chance that some of the games will be overlapping these subscriptions and can be disappointing.
It's one of the reasons I stopped subbing to both, and just kept going with the one that's part of my main gaming platform.

Looks like this month is wrapping up great. The only thing is I don't know when I'll get the time to play some of these excellent games.

I can't wait to see some gameplay from the Fable reboot It's been a loooong time since Fable 3. Two was my favourite of the trilogy. Fingers crossed they'll deliver .

I'm getting Syberia, The ABC Murders, and the Sherlock Holmes bundle. It would be rude not to at these prices 😁.
