I know it's not Lego Horizon but if Concord's early beta numbers are anything to go by, then Sony might port that over to other platforms 😉😅..

Such a big difference between this and the Halo (TV) series, we can all jest about Todd and some of his claims but it's clear he cares about the Fallout IP so much more than 343i do...

I'll be downloading this for my children, (apparently it looks similar to the Hilda animated series, and they love that) as for me, I'm going with Kunitsu-Gami and Flintlock.

It's everything I wanted from a sequel, an incredible experience that I'm grateful NT decided to make and stick by their vision.
And whilst I can see how some can be/are disappointed with it, my hope is that in the future, it'll get ported to the likes of Switch 2 and PS so more people can experience it 🙂.

I agree. The developer decided to dignify the question with an answer out curtesy 😁. Honestly, I'm genuinely surprised that journalists still pose questions of this nature. This is Sony, with an ip they own with no strings attached, like Destiny or told of the consequences if not playing nice, MLB The Show.

Perhaps because PushSquare is/was too busy (a while ago) asking their community about which tent pole Xbox franchises they next want ported to PlayStation 😅. The Ori games are probably seen as small fish by the staff there.
Getting back to your point, I agree, Horizon is Sony owned franchise and they'll probably go bust before porting it or any of their other games to Xbox..

Same here, I can't access GamePass games either. The real issue is with the digital libraries we bought. From a company pursuing the always online model so aggressively, Microsoft should do much better..

What sh*t show from Microsoft, they took their sweet time to finally update the Xbox status here in UK (I did a hard reset on my XSX, thinking my console had issues). I couldn't even sign out from my profile, dammit Microsoft!

That said, of course there is value in the approach Microsoft has taken: by standardising on DirectX 12 and the DXR ray tracing API, there is a commonality with PC development that obviously helps game makers

Would those be the same game makers that treat the XSX as the ugly step child of third-party development??

By year two of current gen I was fully convinced that third-party developers will never take advantage of the power difference between the PS5 and Series X, there is zero incentives for them to do that....
The onus was/is on Microsoft's first party studios to really make the XSX stand out, yet in some instances they managed to make their games perform or look worse on Xbox than on PS5 (Ghostswire Tokyo, SOT, HI-FI Rush or just messing up things like the FO4 next gen patch etc)😅.

...I really, really have to give ER another go but for some reason(s) just doesn't seem to keep me engaged like Sekiro or the DS trilogy did....hopefully one day 😁.

It's such a shame that fantastic games like the Forza Horizon series get delisted after 5 or 6 years. I genuinely can't think of a reason for this being anything else besides Microsoft's stingy approach with licensing. The likes of Asseto Corsa is still going a decade later or thereabouts🤷‍♂️

The only Transformers game I played was the one developed by Platinum Games, Devastation if I remember correctly. And it was quite good.

The question is also posed about whether Bethesda would see fit to implement an official Starfield performance mode for Xbox Series S at some point

Failing that, they'll just probably try to charge for the mod that enables it😉. Jesting aside, it's good to see some positive news related to the Series S 😀.

I didn't really get on with Ashen but Flintlock looks quite interesting in combat and traversal. Looking forward to play it.

As huge fan, I voted for Fable but there are so many other games I'm super excited for i.e; Perfect Dark, South of Midnight, SOD 3, Indy, Avowed and this are just from XGS. Then there's Expedition 33, Mixtape, the foreseeable future looks pretty stacked 👌.

I don't know mate. The thing that I always find very odd is the fact that even seemingly positive news like Microsoft branching out with their games on PlayStation, still brings Sony supporters across to PureXbox with the sole reason of antagonising Xbox and its supporters.

And this before we even consider the brand new accounts (oddly) popping up specifically to either troll or just spout nonsense about Xbox's demise etc, etc.
I also agree that there are clearly people were Microsoft or Sony live rent free on most things they post on.

I'm happy for SOT's success on PlayStation, but why no love for Grounded, HI-FI or Pentiment. These are all excellent games. I guess live service games rule, regardless of platforms.

Alright folks, it looks like the required optimisation time frame for the Series S|X will only last as long as the exclusivity deal Sony made with the developer.....however, let's not get too distracted from the Series S bashing 🤦‍♂️😅.

Completely agree. Hopefully some of that huge cut will be siphoned towards other projects at Rare, like Everwild and whatever else they might be working on etc.

Playground Games have a stellar reputation with their games, albeit they're pedigree are the fantastic Forza Horizon games. I trust they'll deliver 🙂.

I thought it looked fabulous! Fable and Perfect Dark are two of my most anticipated Xbox Studios games. Super hyped 😁.

Both Crystal Dinamics, Eidos Montreal have very talented individuals and
Microsoft should offer them full-time employment within PG and The Initiative, assuming they'd want to stay.

It makes perfect sense to bring/release sequels to previously multiplatform titles on more platforms. Same with games as service were a larger install base benefits those playing.

A bit disappointed there was no mention of rival games stores on Xbox (as previously hinted at) or if the next gen Xbox will be even more of a PC in a box, I'm hoping they'll talk about it in the near(ish) future 😁.

Making assumptions can indeed be reasonable, the problem is that blaming Series S has now become a borderline obsession. And excludes any other valid reasons for delays, be it resources, install base prioritising etc. That's all I'm saying 😀.

Except for the fact that (seemingly) the most sought after Xbox franchises by PlayStation fans are the likes of, Gears of War, Forza Horizon, Starfield, etc.

All of these games are about as established franchises on PlayStation, as (arguably) the Uncharted series or the HZD/HFW games are on Xbox..

Maybe is just me but Halo 3 is really the one in dire need for a remake/remaster, not Halo CE.
