Hellblade 2 Announced For PS5 Alongside 'Enhanced' Edition On Xbox

Microsoft has announced the next Xbox game that's moving over to PS5 consoles, with Ninja Theory's Hellblade 2 now set to launch on PlayStation this summer.

We don't have a specific date yet, but the Xbox studio has announced an "Enhanced Edition" of its 2024 adventure that will include a PS5 port. That enhanced version will also be dropping for Xbox Series X|S and PC as a free update, alongside the brand-new PS5 release.

As you can see in the above post, Ninja Theory is being coy on what's actually getting enhanced in Hellblade 2 this summer - but given we're fast approaching June already, we shouldn't have long to wait for more details on this new version of Hellblade 2.

Of course, being an Xbox first-party title, Hellblade 2 is still in Xbox Game Pass - and the team's free enhanced update will be available to XGP members as well. Expect more information on Ninja Theory's launch plans in the coming weeks.
