Xbox Is Reportedly Working On A 'Wu-Tang Clan' Fantasy RPG

It's fair to say none of us would have predicted that Xbox might be working on a "Wu-Tang Clan" action-RPG, but it looks like that might be the case! And the developer is supposedly Brass Lion Entertainment.

Windows Central describes Brass Lion as "a relatively new studio comprised of industry vets", and says it believes the studio is "currently building an action RPG currently codenamed Shaolin in partnership with Xbox."

The game is described as "a third-person melee-oriented RPG complete with four-player co-op", and its campaign is a "couple of dozen" hours long, followed by a "rich" endgame. The Wu-Tang clan connection is that the famous hip-hop group will reportedly be doing the soundtrack, and the game may even contain "Wu-Tang Clan lore".

It's mentioned that plans could change for the game prior to any official announcement, but it does seem like the project is going ahead. Brass Lion has recently been advertising for a game designer to work on an "unannounced action-RPG with a dope anime aesthetic," to "help define, implement, and polish the moment-to-moment gameplay."
